sniper Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 :cool: Ok guys, here’s my really long star fox Wii idea post: Star Fox Wii should be a game that has a single-player more like SF64 and a multiplayer more like assault. Single Player For the Single player, you should be able to pick the path you want to go on. The path you choose might include team star wolf or team star fox, but you get to choose. There should be a balance of flight, tank, on foot, and maybe some other vehicles for the missions. For the on foot missions, they should make them better than assault by making the AI better, and maybe even adding some more weapons. For the Tank missions, PLEASE make the tanks look like tanks, instead of armored cars. The flight missions could be a lot like SF64 in pretty much every way (I liked SF64 a lot). For other vehicles, they could have things like a hovercraft for water missions or maybe even a Gatling gun car that is lighter and faster than a tank, and that one person drives while another person shoots. Multiplayer The SFA multiplayer was a sweet multiplayer, and Nintendo should keep the basic gist of it. There are some improvements, however, to work on. Don’t make the land mines glow bright red (sometimes I like being able to actually surprise people, and maybe be surprised). A new weapon upgrade could be an automatic land mine detector that detects land mines when you are just about to walk over one. It could give you just enough time to get out of the way (this would still be something you find and works kind of like how the booster pack worked while you could still shoot). Another Idea would be to have the gun sights just go red when on top of someone, and not actually put a huge box on them (good idea kursed). Something else could be to add some water in and maybe add a hovercraft type vehicle as an option. It would be so much cooler if there were other places you could get to only by arwing or hovercraft. I don’t know about everybody else, but I get annoyed at the lock-on weapons. I don’t know how they could improve it, but maybe make it so that it is a little easier to escape from them. Nintendo Wifi I know we all want wifi multiplayer games, so here are my ideas on what they could be like: 1. Regular multiplayer matches with anywhere from 2 to 16 players (the more players, the larger the map. In vehicles or on foot. 2. Co-op single player mode 3. Multiplayer Missions. Several teams try to complete missions like “defend the tower for 5 minutes” or something like that. For that particular mission, there could be some people on the attacking team, etc 4. Death Match. Try to survive with your friends as long as you can against an army of computer controlled players 5. A capture the flag type game. And, of course, be able to chat with your friends via Wii Speak during the matches. Controller Schemes We should be able to use a variety of controller schemes and be able to customize them. 1. Wiimote and nunchuck: Aim and fire with the Wiimote while moving with the nunchuck. Compatible with the Zapper. 2. GameCube controller: If you want to use a more old-school approach. 3. Classic Controller: Same as GameCube controller. Just some thoughts on SFW, but I’ll stop there because I’ve written way too much already.
