Why cant Nintendo make Gamecube memory sticks for the Wii and plug it in the same uppermost slot???

Because the japaneese that work at nintendo obviously don't see  the poteintial of everythign or something like that.

A Brawl add on with new characters is pretty much impossible, that would require a hard drive system, and as we all know, the Wii doesn't have one.

I'm going to ignore that and not go into specifics...

Should Star Fox Wii have more than one method of control? One problem with Command it is the fact the touch screen was forced down our throats.

Definitly it should have  the same control options as Brawl so you could play it like you did on Asault or with the wii mote or wiiote and nunchuck  or the classic controler.

I'd be fine with just the wiimote and nunchuck. Maybe they could even incorporate a lil' motion plus in there..Teh wiimote was made for Star Fox!!

But yeah, it'd still be nice, just to have that option.

Motion plus is perfect for Star Fox. Remind how Miniamoto (bad spelling) liked the Wario Ware: Smooth Moves level with the Arwing? That's the motion plus.

I think I know a good way the level layout in the next game would be like. You start out with the opening stage, then after you complete the opening stage you now have access to 3 other stages, and when you clear one of those stages 2 more are accessible, and so forth until you can play the final stage.

do you mean multiple endings? or choosing other stages at will?

I meant choosing other stages at will, when you can access them at least. There'd be only 1 ending.

No, I got it from Mega Man and Bass for the GBA.

No, I was talking about a Star Fox Wii game. Who here would want a director's cut if the game was good?

Well, a Star Fox Wii game that gets followed by a director's cut, but maybe a director's cut of Assault.

I hope that the Star Fox Wii game lets us use the retro controller, if we want...especially for us old-school gamers

I'd like the gamecube controler considering it's very similar to the Xbox360 one.

You should be able to use either the Wiimote and Nunchuck or the Retro Controller as your choice. Everybody wins. :x

Did we already discuss possible co-op in on-rail missions?

Yes we did, this topic is starting to run dry. I don't think we can discuss anymore with this until the game is actually announced (if ever), when it is then we can go crazy!

Well, yeah. Different control options would be nice, but I'm hoping for Wiimote only, kinda. Your Wiimote cursor would be the crosshairs, just like any of the other games.

I hope that they make the Ar-wing controls just like the jet fighter games and using the cursor to steer it like you said.

But on foot... would you just aim the cursor at enemies again only from 3rd person view, and use numchuck for movement? If that's true, SF needs to spice up! Enemies need to be smarter AND faster than the assault opponents. (they were SO lame and easy.)  :krystal:  I also would like to see multiplayer on WiFi.
