Kursed
Okay here's my opinion of a good starfox wii SingleplayerAssault style gameplay:even on rail and on foot missions like the sauria mission.Longer story than assault.Co-op playFox:1player Krystal:2player Falco:3playerLet Katt join starfox and maybe reuse Miyu and Fay Multiplayer Assault multiplayer with better play: like be able to Duck down or crouch or maybe even squat? Prone would be nice too health points all charaters same for even online gameplay

DZComposer
But don't even THINK about putting Fara in in place of Krystal! And to think.... There was another time in this fandom where it was considered blasphemy by many for Fox to be with anyone OTHER THAN Fara... I guess I should probably warn you guys that I've been on a serious nostalgia streak over the past few days that has included much longing for the fandom as it was in 1999...Not that there is anything wrong with you guys. Please excuse me whilst I go and play SF64. GammaRay256
I don't trust ebay...I'll get a VC copy of SF64 for Wii and a classic controller, and a Wii console...should be just as good, eh? The VC copy of SF64 just doesn't have the same "feel" as the N64. Although I've only played it with a Gamecube controller , I wouldn't expect a classic controller to be too much different. It's also feels slower than the N64.While an emulator and a Xbox 360 controller come pretty close, nothing compares to the original. On the subject of SF flight controls, I was just trying out the Wii Motion Plus at Gamestop the other day... I was flying the airplane on Wii Sports Resort (which, ironically, has blue lasers AND barrel rolls! ).I'm not a fan of games based on the original Wii remote's motion sensors, but the Wii Motion Plus has changed that... I think it would make an awesome Star Fox game. In fact, I'm pretty confident that is the reason Nintendo hasn't announced a Star Fox game for the Wii yet, because they just announced the Wii Motion Plus and they're waiting for everyone to get one If they make a Star Fox game that uses a similar flight model to that of the airplane in Wii Sports Resort, I think it could easily be an AMAZING Star Fox game (only second to SF64!, of course). In my opinion, the Wii Motion Plus simply screams "Star Fox!" Yorokobi-Ageru
I've never even thought of that ...I've owned a Wii, a Wii Steering Wheel, and a bunch of Wii-mots and nunchucks....but nothing but that. I'll look up into that. ^_^
sniper
what you can always do is go here: http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/n64_to_wii/index.php and get the n64 controller to wii converter (I haven't tried it, so I don't know how well it works)
GammaRay256
what you can always do is go here: http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/n64_to_wii/index.php and get the n64 controller to wii converter (I haven't tried it, so I don't know how well it works)I've always wondered if those actually work... I was going to build a GC to USB adapter once, so I was researching how these controller send input. It looks like, if you're translating between two different non-USB-based controllers (like N64 and GC) you would need an additional circuit board in the connection to translate the raw input from one controller type to another. It looks like the adapters on that website have some sort of PCB in the connection, so they probably do work just fine... does anyone have any first-hand experience with those adapters? (and not only N64=>GC/Wii)?Either way, I think it would still have control problems. I think the way Nintendo set the sensitivity too high in the VC's controller interpreter... It makes sense, because the Xbox 360 controller's axes are similar to the Gamecube controller's... but the 360 controller resembles the sensitivity of an N64 controller when it's used on a computer-based N64 emulator whereas the GC controller does not on the VC. The Gamecube controllers are, indeed, nicely built (as are the Xbox 360 controllers), but they don't feel that way on the VC. I'm pretty sure it's in the programming because I know I liked the SF Adventures axis sensitivity better than SF Assault's, and they both used the same controller. At any rate, the VC is still slow, I think they tried to turn on anti-aliasing even though the Wii is not powerful enough to render it at native N64 speed with the added graphics processing. Since I believe the VC is simply an emulator running a N64 ROM (in contrast to recompiling the original game), they could probably fix all the problems (both slow performance and weird control sensitivity) pretty easily... but I doubt that's going to happen. At any rate, I still think a computer-based emulator is closer to the real N64 experience than the Wii's Virtual Console; it's a bummer there is no legal way to play game ROMs on a computer. But I don't endorse using ROMs to play games at all. I once thought it was legal to play ROMs if you owned the original game, but it's not , So we're stuck with either the original, or the VC.http://www.nintendo.com/corp/legal.jsphttp://www.nintendo.com/corp/legal.jsp#download_rom
