I think what we should do is keep the characters we already have (I'm currently doing a group shot of nearly every *major* Star Fox character, and there's 23 people in it), and develop them, instead of adding a ton of new characters first.

I wanna see some of the characters from Adventures return too. I miss Shabunga and Scales, and even the WarpStone, plus so many other awesome characters from that game. = I doubt they would though. > >

Panther should die. They just need to bring back Algy who was going to be in Star Fox 2, and make another new character. But I think they stuck with 4 because no one can deal with another Slippy. Even if it is the evil version (thats probably why they killed Oikonny. Or at least they meant to).

Wasn't it heavily implied (as much as possible for a Nintendo game) that Scales was executed?

@ RedPhoenix: Andrew didn't die, he's still around in Command

I'd like to see Caiman come back because he was totally amazing, and I don't see why they should get rid of Panther. He does have potential to be cool, like the Spanish bandito type. If they made him less flirtatious, and have him focus more on the fighting, then it'd be perfect. And if Andrew or Pigma don't return to Star Wolf, then I think Dash would be an excellent candidate for the Star Wolf team.

How about they make Panther intimidating?!  ;) That's always a great quality to look for in a villain. Make his voice sound more sinister in a Lance Henriksen sort of way, and make him do a lot of violent stuff on screen.  :)

As for at least just one mission in the game, make a side scrolling mission for Krystal that plays kinda like this. Not as outrageous or bloody though.

I agree with making Panther more sinsiter. Oh! Give him James Earl Jones! That would make it epic!

As for the side scroller..... No. This is a first peron shooter we're talking about. Side scrollers are inferior.

I hope there is a New Star Fox game, soon...especially for Wii,

'cause it would be cool to have, like, you know, that "sit pad" thingy to hook up to the Wii while playing the New Starfox Game...you could shift your weight/position on it to steer the Arwing, or the Landmaster

Um.... That idea is rather on the random side. The only kind of vehical you would have to shift your weight on is a speeder bike of some sort.

Personally, I think the mic should be emphasised in this game.

yeah, you're right...it was kind of a "shot in the dark" idea...I don't own a Wii [yet], so I don't really know the specs of one that well, yet

but the mic used in the game would be fun

They should let you choose which character you want to be, Fox is cool and all, don't get me wrong, but Krystal fans would like to play as her, and Falco fans would like to play as him...plus, there should be co-op mode [for main missions], like with 2 players,

and player 2 could join anytime.

No balance board. I would hate that.

I've always felt that motion control should not be forced. I'm sure any of you other Wii owners have an experience with at least one game where motion control detracted from the experience *COUGH*mariokart*COUGH*.

A sensible Wii control for Star Fox, with properly used motion control:

Flight control - Nunchuck Control stick

Fire/Charge Laser: B (Sensor bar could be used to pick the lock target instead of the closest one to the reticle, though I would be a little weary of it)

Fire Nova Bomb (or other secondary Weapon): A

Boost: Z

Brake: C

Tilt left: Twist Wii-mote left

Tilt right: Twist Wii-mote right

Barrel Roll: Make small circular motion with Wii-mote

I absolutely do not want sensor bar "point and fly." That would just feel wrong (though, sadly, I fear that that is the most likely scheme). I didn't really like the control scheme used in Wario Smooth Moves either.

Ever heard of Blazing Angles? I have that game and it has an excelent control scheme. And then they could use the WW II game control schemes for the tanks and on foot.

I bet it would be great for Star Fox :lol:, at least for the ships, maybe not so much the tanks. The Landmaster would probably be controlled like this:

Move: Nunchuk control stick.

Hover: C button.

Fire: A button (hold to charge up).

Bomb: B button.

Aim: Point with Wii Remote.

Role: Press left or right on the D-pad.

Board/Exit: 1 button.

Briliant. But I think the Landmaster should be drivable by two people. One controls the big gun and the other controls the movement and machine guns that could be mounted on the front.

I have Blazing Angels for the Wii, and it is an amazing game. In fact, the four main characters REALLY remind me of the Star Fox chraracters. Each one is almost a perfect mirror of a Star Fox character.

NO MECHA!!! Mecha rot ur brains!!!  :lol:

I like what they used in Assault though. It just needs to be adapted to the weaponry. Like in Star Trek (the recent movies) where they have everything match the same style to indicate that they are the same or from the same group.

Maybe give the LandMaster a biped function, and it's legs allow you to walk up walls? That'd be fantastic, and it'd be a really fun mission too.  :lol:
