Registration Issues

My sincerest apologies to all those who attempted to register and were prevented by the spam prevention system.

We are now aware of the problem and are working to fix it. In the mean time, I have reverted back to the previous, less secure, system. We may see a few spam bots, but I am working to fx the issue and will let you know when the new anti-spam system is fixed.

You should be able to register now.

In the future, please report any registration issues ASAP so that I can fix them ASAP. Thank you.

If you can send me specific instructions, I DO have FTP access. Perhaps we could get on IM and you walk me through it later tonight.

I don't have IM either. I will be back home tomorrow, though. If you want any child boards under the KA forum, let me know.

I think I fixed ReCaptcha. I was able to successfully register an account with it enabled.

So, I have left it enabled again. Let me know ASAP if you have an issue. Also, if you do have an issue, if you include in your e-mail your username, a TEMPORARY password (change at first login), and desired registration email address and I will manually create an account for you while I begin to troubleshoot the issue. My email: dzcomposer(~~nospam~~)classicalhorn.com.

I am elated to know I can log in.

and you don't need to apologize, its not your fault.

also when I reported this to the makers of it, the "it won't count it as right no matter what I do" option was one of them, so they seem fully aware it will happen, I don't know what was going on, maybe my computer just messed up for a day, but whatever it was, it stopped, probably because of you.

thanks a lot and glad to be part of this forum (finally).

The issue wasn't with reCaptcha itself. There is a bug in the SMF integration that sometimes makes it not send the encryption keys correctly. I re-entered the keys as-per support advice and it fixed it.
