Sabre
Had she kept her furryness out of school then I would have approached her. Wow. That's harsh. I'd imagine your your a social climber, and I hate that. Personally, I do what I want to do reguardless of what people think, but if want only to look good in front of your friends, then that's your choice. Personally, I find it shallow, primitive, and more then a bit silly. It reminds me of the kids from school who would brag about how many 'chicks' they 'banged' to the point where it got so unbelievable you wonder how anyone falls for it at all. One lad even gave himself a love bite with a hoover.
Falcory
Personally I always seem to like people that don't quite fit in. You don't have to worry about what they think of you, and you can talk to them about anything. Not like how the popular group are. But one thing I really do hate is bullies. They make me really mad, just picking on innocent people that are just a little weird! Everbody is a little weird, so if you think about it, no one is. (Okay I totally did not steal that from the Incredibles.)
Sabre
Good film. Bullies are bad, but I hate the way the staff always seem to be on their side. Even after famous shootings like columbine, they will blame anything but the bullies for causing them to crack.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Bullies.....I HATE THEM WITH EVERY PASSION IN MY BODY!!! It makes me so agitated that it feels like the next time I hear someone badmouth a religious minority, cancer victim, or furries, I'll kick some serious a@#!! I know we should solve social injustice problems with peaceful methods, but in the case of furries, that's not gonna work. Where did they come up with that sh@# about furries doing nothing but doing yiff in fursuits? :P

PuffNStuff
well to defend my position, I wanted to have a great high school experience. (which I did) call it what you want, I kept my 2 lives seperate and I do not regret it anyway. It was actually a benefit. It doesn't matter what YOUR morals are, the people who make fun of furries don't care. Why should they? They don't have the moral development that you get after high school. Until then, they will be narrow minded and dumb. (when it comes to morality) So work WITH the system instead of against it and you too will flow with the crowd with no problems. I say these things out of retrospect. I graduated last year. this is what I have learned and how to stay sane in high school. For your information, the guys I hung out with were the rednecks. Who have a notorious rep of judgement. I never told them that I loved starfox. It was something they didn't need to know. (and still dont) Just live with the tards for a few years knowing that everything changes after high school.
Sabre
Now I used the oposate tecnique. I did whatever I liked and no one would have a problem with it. That said, I can't really compair, given how I was the hardest guy in my school. A luxury not many geeks have.

Lucas Foxx
Cancer? A tough road that must have been. Glad to see you're alive, though. I had a close friend who had cancer....he didn't quite make it, however...*frowns* Furry, eh? Not I. I will state that there are attractive anthros out there, but I'm not the one attracted to them. But, I myself have not a problem with anyone who is into furry art and the like. Heck, I'm a misfit myself (furry being considered a misfit to the modern world today). I always end up in a group of people that are all unique in their likes and dislikes.

(But I'm a cancer victim and a furry so.... I had an aunt who had cancer, she didn't make it. I saw her a month before she died, she looked like a walking corpse. I have sympathy for anyone who has, or has had cancer. As for the furry subject, people at my school found out I was a furry a week ago, God knows how they found out, WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!!! Beta Link
I don't really consider myself a Furry, but I have nothing against anyone who does. I really hate how most people think that all Furries do are draw furry porn and yiff in fursuits. Granted, some do, but there's more than one type of Furry. Those people who do draw furry porn, yiff in fursuits, etc are the ones who need to stop, and come back to reality. And has anyone else noticed that almost everyone who considers him/herself a Furry chooses a Fox, a Wolf, or a Cat as their fursona? Seriously, Foxes, Wolves, and Cats have been done to death. That's why I decided that if I ever wanted a fursona for myself, it would be a Raven.

I tried to avoid it in my choosing of a fursona, but I gave up before I picked one. There are a fair number of reptilian furs, but other than that, by far the most common are the canids. When I eventually do pick a species, it will be cybernetic, so at least I'll have that for uniqueness.

The main animal roleplays there are Wolf pack and Warrior cats..... as for foxes' I donno about that one. My Fursonna would defintly be a Fox or Tiger either way it would have either odd coloring or rare coloring (White tiger for example)
tomas20
Am I a furry? ...well... I simply like the artistic style. I grew up watching many cartoons like the Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Dangermouse and other shows like those. I also like the video games, too. I had never even heard of the term "furry" before I started using the internet frequently. I don't see myself as the kind of furry who's attracted to anthropomorphic characters as I dislike dirty furry pictures, yiff stories and things like that. I only like clean stuff. I haven't wore a fursuit, nor do I ever plan to (same with furry conventions). But I do like how the fursuits are made. I agree with Beta Link too, about the fursona thing. I, too, think that foxes, wolves and cats are overdone. I suppose my fursona, even though I only use him for my project and for roleplaying, would have to be a jackal. So, I'm not the kind of furry who's attracted to anthros, but I'm the kind of furry who just likes the style.

You said it, Beta Link, it's "Furries" like those posers that give the real furries a bad name.  I get so pissed when I see/hear those yuppie hipster snobs "following the next trend", they did the same thing happened to the Goth subculture It's these hipster yuppie "Hedge/Trust Fund Brats" who have their lots of [parents'] money and lots of free time to "infect" these subcultures...twisting and warping them into stereotypes. A Raven would be an awesome Fursona. I've been a furry since I was 12, I'm not one "because it's cool", either, I don't follow trends. A jackal is still a Canine though ,but yeah honestly instead of a Fur suit I'd rather be the real thing by Gentic mutation or something like that Those suits can be hot. tomas20
Forgive me for thinking differently, but I think Genetic mutations or something that can literally turn you into a real anthro, would be going a bit too far.
