Forgive me for thinking differently, but I think Genetic mutations or something that can literally turn you into a real anthro, would be going a bit too far.

:x

ahh, it's cool, we're all entitled to our opinions. dude!  :krystal:

It's just that I sometimes get "chewed out" for speaking my mind or stating my opinions.

In the near future when it is possible not now... better than sitting in a hot fursuit if you ask me.... I'd still think it through before I went through it though. I do see your point there ,but If I had the choice and it actully worked with little or no side effects I might actully try it and not for any dirty reason.

Don't let those who persecute you for speaking your mind get you down, they do the same to me, so I empathize/sympathize.  You gotta' stand tall, buddy!

Marrying a anthro would do nothing to change yourself I don't see where your going with that.

We were talking about genetic mutations. If you read the bottom of the link, we were talking about biomedical engineering. Falls in the same category.

I think that changing your appearance through genetics is just a little wrong. But that's just the Christian in me talking. I'm perfectly fine with the way God made me. And as for the fursuits... Well to be quite honest, some of them remind me of those annoying characters in places like Disney World. :krystal:

Well My point was I'd rather do that than wear a fur suit.

Well I support *SAFELY* working with genetics on oneself, if you so desire. I for one am waiting for the day when fully cyberization will be possible. I'm a Christian too, but I don't have a problem with it. It's no different from buy a cell phone to me, only the cell phone is on the inside of my body, rather than outside.

I wear the type of fursuits that are either tight/from-fitting, and not bulky "Mascot" or "amusement park character" costumes.

I also wear fursuits that are like the "Jellicle Cat" styled/influenced, tight fitting unitard with fur trim/hardware/accents, a furry belt with a tail attached, makeup, [facial features] prosthetics held in place with spirit gum, dance slippers/shoes/boots, leg warmers, arm warmers, furry vests, etc.

I was "fursona" fur-suit wearing, and cosplaying Furry characters like Star Fox at Age 20,

My cos-playing of Furry characters were mainly Star Fox.  I've dressed up as Fox, Falco, and, believe it or not, Krystal :krystal:

I've been trying to find somewhere where I can buy a Fox tail and ears set that I can wear to my formal as it is a fancy dress. Maybe I'll dye them blue?

Personally, I'd like cybornetics to improve what I have, and prevent the constant maintainance that the human body needs. Instead, opting for a regular self service. I also look forward to total immersion computer games (or a holodeck setup) or the abilty to share feelings electronicly. Imgine logging on to a chat program, but instead of simple words, you can exhance emotions or physical feelings.

Being furry can simple be liking characters. Getting dressed up and going to the meets is not required, and I recomend you avoid them if possable.

even if i were to be genticly changed to a Anthro I'd proably not go to the conventions.

Well... i could go very technical with this, or I could just say that cybernetics could be just around the corner. Over the weekend I watched a few shows about current robotics. One had a prostectic limb conrtolled by the nerves on the stub, in other words, the robotic arm became his own. A whole hand, and could pick up and not squeeze a grape!

Pretty amazing stuff.

As for me, I wouldn't mess with natures machine. I will just build my own.

OMG! I watched that too! I can't believe they can control a robotic prosthetic arm just by thinking about it... O.o

Did you see the... What's it called? Power knees, or whatever...

I remember human rights people or something complaining about those types of robotic arms, as I couldn't work out why.

Kursed. I've seen him. He had the first court case of cybornetic discrimination I believe.

What does that even mean?... Discrimination against people that have cybernetic body parts?...

You got it, Mr. K!  I'll try as soon as possible to take/upload some pics, I got to also get those fursuits and accessories together, most of them were/are "borrowed" from other furries like myself, but I'll try ASAP!

so it's against human rights to let a man have his arm or leg back? that's the kinda  statment I''d say to them. some people are soo silly.
