The Green Fox
I have quite a few things in common with furries. I think anthro cat vixens are hot, I have a "fursonality", no wait, actually two fursonalities, I watch Chowder (main character is a cat bear/bunny thing), and my first imaginary friend as a little boy was a talking animal kid my age, a raccoon named Robert. My first little kids books growing up were Mercer Mayer's Little Critter, where all the characters are animals. But all in all, I'm not a furry, really, as I am not OBSESSED with talking animals. As in like, insane or something. Note: I'm not calling furries insane.
Andrew McCloud
Now see, that's where I'd call you a furry XP But oh well, there are lots of people like that that either don't wanna be called furry and are, or just don't know it/don't think they're furry 'enough'. Fox-Shot
I would consider myself a furry, but I'm not like much others. Other than that, I don't know what to say. EDIT: More of a furry now... I really can't explain it, I guess I just had some kind of life outlook change... Well, its great to see a few other furries here... :D
Foxrider64
I would say i am. It's hard not to be when so many good things contain furry. Disney's Robin Hood/The Rescuers/Secret of NIMH/etc, Animals of Farthingwood, Chewbacca, and of course Star Fox among many many many other things. I would defenetly blame my childhood upbringing. Watching looneytunes and playing star fox/conkers bad fur day on 64 all the time. And stop making female furry so damn sexy too. lol
KrystalMine
Despite what my name might imply, I am by no means a furry. My name is a slight mockery of the more ah, rabid Krystal fans I find furries to be very strange people, frankly. There are a few tame ones, however most deserve the reputation which they have. Liking cartoons and anthro art to me does not constitute a furry. When one crosses the line into fursuiting, collar-wearing and the like, well... Frankly you deserve what you get. I'm sure that this opinion of mine will not be popular here, but it is my opinion nonetheless and when asking a question...well, negative feedback is to be expected. Cheers! PKMichael
*shoots Micheal with staffs ice mist* A baton is used in racing a staff is a weapon. I thought I said it was a "BAWWWWWton". It should be rather obvious that it's neither geared for racing nor fighting. =D And the name is "Michael", not "Micheal". If you're going to use your little fake magic spell attacks inside astericks, you should probably learn how to actually spell first. I'd assume they'd call them "spells" for a reason, after all. PKMichael
I'm not ticked off, just slightly amused. Anyways. I would also have to agree that simply having an appreciation for anthropomorphic animals from a purely artistic standpoint does not immediately force one into being a furry. But then again I'm not as loose with my definition of "furry" as others. So I would also have to say that I'm not one.
Steve
That's besides the point, Kursed. I'm talking about keeping this place in ORDER, if I see someone not behaving properly, after a warning, that user will get punished. And I'll probably give a second warning before taking serious actions anyways. The warning goes to everyone that is making a mess in this topic, you KNOW who you are. I know you want to defend yourself, Kursed, but if you are going to take that kind of action, I'd ask you to do it somewhere else, rather than here. If you get attacked by something as ridiculous as spelling (or in any other way), again, I'll have to take serious matters against the attacker. PKMichael
it takes a furry, to really know about furries Well, let's take a look at what the "accepted" definition of a furry is, as provided by Sabre. Although [liking cartoons and anthro art] is the definition' date=' which is why I say I'm furry by technicallity.[/quote'] What's so hard to understand here? Although I personally don't agree with that definition, I see no reason why someone would have to conform to that in order to understand what it means. That's like saying you need to be a Dodgers fan in order to understand other Dodgers fans, when all that really needs to be understood is that they like the Dodgers. I mean, sure, quite a few furries may be perverted and sick in the head, but they're not on some removed plane of existence where comprehending them is exceedingly difficult. Well, okay, maybe the perverted ones are somewhat hard to understand. But we have things like electroshock therapy for them. =D

I been gettin' into nasty arguments with other people lately, 'cause they trash talked my fursuit, and said I was "a furry wannabe", a "fake furry"and a f**** and other hateful stuff, and these people were not even furries, or some of them were furries, but they were the "bad furries", those "furverts"... same thing with me being Goth, these people who are not even Goth or they're the "fake Goths" in reality, yet they trash talk me and my Goth friends, calling us "Fake Goth", "Poser", "Emo", f*****, "Wannabe Goth"...and I got into fights with them.... I just, to be honest, I get harassed a lot for no reason, that's why I'm so over defensive...I can handle mainstream society talking crap to me for/about my being a Goth, or for/about my being a Furry, but not from others who claim they are Goth, or Furry, and then call me a "fake" or a wannabe (I know, that for the record, you never claimed to be a furry, PK, nor did you call me a "fake/poser/wannabe furry" and I thank you for that...)
