I was talking about PK's old forums on wetpaint, not the project itself...

kursed-game.net no longer exists. decided it was better to not have a website for the mod just yet. Papetoonscafe.wetpaint.comis only there to keep the moddb page up since the website requires us to have a website of some sort for our mod. I have been too busy to keep up with the forums, so I leave it alone. Its not really a forums more than it is a comment section.

Just had to be sure. Everyone from that site is pretty much gone now, all thats left it Me, Ninjafox11, Kursed_for_life, and 2 noob's.

I pretty lost all hope until i found Sfo.

It'd be cool to use some of the stuff this mod will have for Gmod, it'd make for some awesome deathmatches.

Well I'm pretty relieved to see that the project is still going on at least. I was on your forum when it went down like a year ago. Of course you still have my moral support, I'm welcoming any StarFox Fan related stuff, and fangames above all. So, yeah, good luck with all that.

It recently switched from Source Engine to Unreal Engine, a decision i wasn't happy with but I'm dealing with it. k_e_rolleyes.gif

Darn, now I can't get this mod, I don't think my PC even has a chance running Unreal 3 when I only have a single core 2.2 GHz on a game that needs 3 GHz.

The Current laptop I have won't run it...but that'll change soon with the one I'll be getting when the fall semester kicks off since it'll have the NVidia & i3 thing. XD

Hello, I am Ian, the current lead of Project Kursed.

Trust me when I say this, there is a whole slew of news updates coming at you very quickly due to a nice little progress surge. Take a look at the ModDB for new info.

We've also now got some people from Operation Black Mesa (remake of Half-Life: Opposing Force), Outbreak: Condemned (Resident Evil Source mod whose people know UDK well), 1187 (superb Source mod whom I voice for [got a good number of their VAs], and, possibly...Black Mesa [CatzEyes93 and CornetTheory have expressed some interest].

The switch to UDK and the Unreal 3 engine was a move that we thought would best suit the mod. Number one, it is a more capable engine which can offer better gameplay mechanics, more stable gameplay, and better graphical possibilities [think things like Unreal Tournament 3, [to an extent] Star Wars Republic Commando, and Borderlands]. Plus, Source has aged quite a bit and, regardless of Portal 2 and its updates, still is an aged engine that is not as capable anymore. Plus Valve constantly breaks their software development kit, so that's not good either. :oops:

Ah, I Remember you from the old Wetpaint. Well once again good luck with it.

But from the new image's it seems that you guys are working on a new model base, am i right?

Quite so. We've begun remodelling with Shane Murphy [lead of Outbreak: Condemned] and Shakeno [first guy to get a working UDK model outside of Epic Games].
