The timer wasn't much of a problem to me. I usually finish things pretty quick. I don't think the timer has gone nelow 50 for me in awhile.

totally agree to have an other SF on DS,but,  with on foot mission this time, and all the team members :fox::krystal::falco::slippy:(and some more character like kat and more)playable in every missions. Multi player capability, wi-fi too. some new guns. every character have they r own missions and they all come up to the same ending, but we see it from the eyes of the character and they all see it differently for each other

they good ideas but i think all that stuff would be better on a wii version

If its something like Super Mario 64 DS, then that's okay. But restarting Star Fox just makes things confusing. Once is okay. Twice is pushing it.

Lets take Star Trek as an example. They basically restarted the series. But they said that the original time stream had been altered, and even included one of the original characters that came from the future.

No. Just the opposite. But, if they got the stupid idea to restart the series and loose a bunch of fans, it should be an alternate timeline instead of a full reboot like the new Star Trek.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No timer!

No stylus!

No crappy graphics!

No one button laser!

No drag and drop bombs!

NO SPLIT STORYLINES!!!! (except the point of view thing. Thats actually pretty cool.)

If they were able to get by with a simple D-Pad before, I think they can do it again. Or put a joystick on the damn thing.

Yeah!

well... you probably right...but... they just could do a SF game between two already existed ones. I mean, man! We are asking ourselves so much questions! If they do a game between...adventure and assault, assault and command, 64 and adventure....WE WILL HAVE OUR ANSWERS! (at least some of them)

How about a remake of Starfox 64 or a port of Starfox 2 for DS? :D

I would kill for them to make a port of Starfox 2 for the DS. It would be especially coold if they re-did the graphics with REAL 3D acceleration.  I always thought the Arwing mechs where way cooler than a Landmaster.

You dare defy the Landmaster? YOU MUST DIE! (lol, Ganon)

Though it wouldn't make for a good Final Smash

Before:

Fox:LANDMASTER!!

After:

Fox:GIANT TRANSFORMED ARWING MECHA ASSAULT BOT!!!!!

a new sf game would be nice. If they dont base the sequel off of command, heck, ill be happy if they consider even making any new sf game

Endings that are not depressing. :|

Amen.

I would like to see a new SF DS game.  Keep the branching paths, but have them all come back to the same ending, like in SF and SF64.

Make using the stylus to fly optional, as some people like me have lost their styluses and have to fly with a finger.

Can my teammates help me for once, please?  Pretty please?

And no more flying through fast moving squares in order to catch up to and track missiles.  Miss one square and you lose the missile.  That was a bit retarded, IMO.

should go with assault style play too  I'd really love to see assault on the ds and it could clearly handle that as I saw a Mechassault game for Ds if the Ds can handle mech assault it can handle Assault.

Maybe Assault reduced to Nintendo 64 capabilities and graphics.  Of course, Assault wasn't *that* big of a game, so it seems plausible.

The DS is slightly less powerful than the N64, so it must be even more lowered.  Starfox 64 actually had pilot mode in multiplayer.
