HERACY! Rouge squadren was teh best game evar! ect. Seriously though, I didn't see what all the fuss was about.

Rogue Squadron was awesome, sadly the studio that developed it was shuttered recently.

I'm assuming your talking abour modern physics like half life 2. Would physics really be needed for a flying game beyond hit something = s-plode?

Physics for the gravity that pulls on your ship when your wings are broken.

Physics for determining how fast you can turn dependent on your speed.

Physics for crashes.

Physics for laser fire and other kinds of collision detection.

Ah, right. I was assuming you were on about Half Life 2 style physics of throwing around furniture. I still have alot to learn.

I totally agree...some upgraded AI and some co-op features are just what the doctor ordered..it can be done, especially for Star Fox!

 

Every darn time i play assault, i think "wow how is it that we are an elite team when  :) kills EVERYTHING and  :D:):wolf: do absoutly nothing but get chased, and die. They fly around in circles and shoot in any random direction then immediately shoot at NOTHING"  Nintendo seemed to go for the whole aspect of helping the team, and after playing SF64 again, i realized that the team killed ALOT more baddies than in Assault. :leon: Fox+Krystal FTW

They litterly do watch your teammates next time you play.  Back on the Co-Op style, i was thinking more of a L4D (left for dead for those of you who live under rocks) style and if u want to battle with, or against CPU's make the AI better so that they are useful. When playing the 2nd to last mission in assault, i noticed that when you walk up to Krystal, all she does is stand in front of you and just stand there until you move, she follows for a time, but after she, or any CPU, leaves a set area, they just go to standing around being useless.  The same goes for Slippy in the Sargasso mission.  You should be able to order your teamates to follow you, help you, or just fall off a cliff if you wanted them to :P

So basically, you want the whole crew to be like Tricky from Star Fox Adventures?

Not to mention random re-spawning and appearing out of FREAKIN NOWHERE!!!!  Im just getting tired of everyone calling Starfox an "elite" team when  :wink: does bloody everything.

Actually, you can push Krystal off the edge in the Aparoid Homeworld in Assault by nudging her with the tank gradually (Do it too fast and she gets hit, then runs behind the tank). She respawns behind you, usually. No damage.

they need to make the AI much better and Use Krystal's power to a better degree where it's not like "Yeah I know!" I mean comeon she needs to see this BEFore not after.

Agreed. The whole idea of Krystal's powers were only really used in assault when she got yet another distress signal from Dinosaur planet (which was randomly given the name Sauria in assault, correct me if im wrong in this, i never noticed the team calling the planet Sauria in the Adventures game even tho i havent played it in ages)  One thing a little Krystal related that nintendo needs to fix about the next game (if theyre generous enough) is that whenever you took damage, all you did was blink red, shake, and play a sound effect then keep flying like nothing happened. Depending where you get shot, it should get harder to fly in that direction, or something a spec more realistic!!

also bring back miyu and Fay so that i can choose between female characters instead of just using Krystal and so Krystal has someone to talk to  since everyone else is a guy onboard. and so This  won't happen all the time.

....Curse fanboys and their dreams, more female figures would be good, yes but it might present more of a "fanboy" problem than we have as far as starfox goes, but yeah more of a charcter selection other than   :(:fox:  :peppy::falco::slippy::wolf:  would be nice, those charcters listed in that order based how much i like them excluding Wolf but i think if it were co-op, we could decide who we were, even if it meant fox being up in a bloody Arwing for once with others on the ground.

True  ,but I personnaly think  i need some more females to choose from... it's just kinda degrading theres only 2 females in starfox that can defend themselves well  :(:slippy:
