EvolutionSFox
I loved the Adventures Krystal... she was so much nicer, in Assault she seemed a bit zombieish. In Command, wow, I don't even want to get started on that. >>;

Sabre
It's all the same person to me. The promo art for assault was a bit slutty, but in the game, shes comes out strong, but feminine, adventures doesn't give her alot of room, and thus she comes off a little bitchy at the end. Command is attack of emos for the most part. So, I'll vote for assault.

I sorta liked the pink, made me think of Hubba Bubba bubble gum(yum). It's alright though, I just hope the next game doesn't completely demolish her character like Command did... Guest Julius Quasar
Adventures....Rare did a nice job, and Estelle Ellis has a nice accent. Yes, at the end, Krystal was acting unpleasant "My staff! Give me that! You're back!" Then again, 19 year olds can be that way, boys and girls... I was kinda like that at 19, my ex-girlfriend was worse than that... But in Assault, her accent sounds labored/faulty/inconsistent (it's hard for a Yank to sound like John Bull, I know...I couldn't do it to save my life.) And her demeanor, as EvolutionSFox said, was "zombieish"...
Guest Chiro-Chan
Adventures. In Assault, she seemed to get really snarky in some bits, and Command she was totally out of character. In Adventures though, her implied character seemed a lot better than in the other games, and I think the reason she flipped out when she saw Fox was... Well... Let's think about it. You've been unconscious, trapped inside of a chunk of ice for about a week, and when you finally get out, you see this guy who you've never met before with YOUR staff, who may have possibly been checking you out while you were trapped. If I was in that position, I'd be a liiiiittle paranoid too. XDDD;;;

Guest Julius Quasar
Many Krystal fans fell in love with her when they first saw her in Adventures....and that's why some of them like her Krystal from Adventures the best/most, so I've heard. EvolutionSFox
That's not my case, I actually didn't care for her until Assault came out. She was just another character in Adventures, Fox was always my favorite until Assault. Then I went back and played Adventures about 40-50 times(lost count), so I kind of got obsessed. Samantha Weltzin
I'm gonna have to go with Assault. It's the only game where she was a nice person through most of it. Yeah, she made some snips at Panther and whatnot, but I don't blame her for that. I actually disliked Krystal after I beat Adventures due to ungratefulness and utter uselessness. Assault softened my perception toward her, and I think I finally started to understand her a bit more in Command. Most people who like Krystal hate the Command version, but that was actually the game that got me out of "neutral-verging-on-dislike" to actually liking the girl. Not because she was a jerk at times (not all the time); that turned me off. It was because she actually got some character development and started to be -useful-. Oh, and I did hate her design, but I disliked the artwork in that game in general. Honestly, the emotional problems Krystal had in Command I blamed on Fox more than anything. He was an idiot, not thinking about her feelings or the fact that the only people who -don't- get killed in the Lylat System are those on the StarFox team. Not to mention, she'd been making rapid progress in her training but kicking her off the team due to fearing for her safety sent the message that he didn't think she was good enough to take care of herself. But yeah. Assault because she was nice, even if she was underdeveloped.

I don't mind the story on command it's more the outfit in this case. Mecenarys are known to be low life scum only in the job for the money.. FortunatlY fox is not a lowlife(oddly.) I don't mind the story on command it's more the outfit in this case. Mecenarys are known to be low life scum only in the job for the money.. FortunatlY fox is not a lowlife(oddly.) While this may be true, there are a few things to consider. First, she didn't appear to be shy at all about her clothing, so I don't see how that'd be a problem if he "looked" at her. Second, she can read minds and Fox is supposed to be one of the most upstanding people in the Lylat System. Third, she just had her life SAVED by the man she was rude to, regardless of possible lewdness. Fourth, she could have just asked for her staff back instead of grabbing it and saying, "Give me that!" Fifth, if she didn't know he was a good person through mind-reading, there's no way she'd know he was a mercenary or anything else about him for that matter. So I guess what I'm saying is that Rare shocked me with that reaction after they had labeled her "Kind-hearted" in the beginning of the game. Those two just didn't mesh. Heck; I'd even be able to forgive her if she actually accomplished something with the staff after she'd taken it back, but those fireballs were useless and no better than anything Fox could've done. So, she was neither kind nor useful and I saw no real redeeming traits beyond her physical appearance. Blue is cool. Glad we agree on the Command outfit, though. Most do, I s'pose. In desperate times you probably wouldn't think about someone ogling you either. I would think the natural reaction would have been a "Thank you," but maybe that's just me. And personally, I don't blame Krystal for the reaction. I blame poor scriptwriting on the part of the game designers. I am curious to know what I'm missing, though. I'm willing to change my opinion given reasonably good evidence to the contrary.

No need Sam(mind if I call you that.) ,but I guess your kinda missing the point of you know this big head is floating away this guy just saved me and Sauria ,but who knows if this big head is going to destroy Sauria anyway. It's kinda all going fast you don't really have time to say thanks for saving me and 'letting' me have my staff back. ,but she did Apologize later though. and i see your point on the scriptwriters. Feel free to call me Sam. I suppose that might make someone act oddly, but the intro still says that she has a kind spirit, so I still think the reaction is out-of-character for her even given the circumstances. With a heart racing and a mind blown by so many things happening at once, wouldn't she react to things purely on instinct? And if her nature involves kindness, wouldn't she react in a more cooperative manner with the man who just saved her life and is apparently also opposed to the giant floating head? Perhaps it's just not explainable, as we aren't telepaths like Krystal and thus can't tell what's going on in her head. Anyway, I was just explaining why I didn't like her after Adventures. I didn't delve into her psyche and try to figure out the motivation for her actions. I was just irked at the ungrateful vixen I never really got to know and spent an entire game trying to save. But like I said, she has since redeemed herself more or less.
