Krystal says things like "Such strange thought patterns." and she was also able to tell when the aparoid queen was suppressing the program. It seems she can't directly read anyones thought, but rather just sence emotions, which seems pretty useless. Given the I never 100%-ed command, I might be missing something. Thoughts? Feh. Oh, and to somewhat address the post's content, I'll just say that I think Krystal -has- the power, but the game designers were too stupid to make her use it effectively. Anyone could've guessed that the enemy was waiting for the group without her yelling it out and whatnot. Frankly, she ought to use it to anticipate enemy movements and get the upper-hand, Ã la River from Firefly. Shame StarFox has been so shabbily written for such a long time. Kidding. well all 'born' in a natural way have belly buttons... thus why shadow the hedgehog doesn't have one.....yeah Nintendo needs to use her powers to a better extent she could have seen that attack coming from the aparoid on the first mission she should have seen the enemies behind the door wAAAAAAAAAAy before it opened before they even got to the door. Sight, smell, touch, taste, hear... Perception = Seeing/knowing. she uses her talent to forsee danger and aid her teammates Foresee danger = Warning her teammates of something that they couldn't see using their senses, but she can see with hers. This doesn't say anything about the distance that Krystal is capable of it, like how you said she should have been able to "see" them way before she actually did in the game.
