Krystal's Markings

Zwolf

Recommended Posts

She was also raised on Sauria due to her premature stay on Cerinia the clothes are Saurian ,but her staff is Cerinian. otherwise she would have probalby refused to wear that jumpsuit On Assault.

We have no idea what she did. All we know is that her planet was "doomed", and she was neither not on the planet when it happened, or it forced her to leave.

Who knows? Cerinia's "doom" could have happened like a couple weeks before SF Adventures.

Ummm what did I say wrong???  :x

I didn't even know she had one there. Now that I do, I have to think of a meaning for it... >.>

It's a(n) [ancient] Cerinian cultural thing(?)

Maybe Krystal in SF-Adventures was dressing like the original Cerinians,

being true to her roots, or getting back to her roots?  :x

Yeah, maybe. We have no idea when she was forced to leave Cerinia.

True ,but I kinda think it was when she was too young to care for herself Sauria could have been a very close neighboring planet of Cerinia.

There is no proof of this statement.

I think it's a religious reason, her mother might have been a high priestess, or native healer. Maybe just a native healer, which doesn't usually need any religious connotations. I agree with Kursed that she might have been raised on Sauria, while her staff was Cerinian, possibly a memoir of her biological parents.

Yeah, maybe. We have no idea when she was forced to leave Cerinia.

I have a theory;

Krystal's planet was conquered by an evil blue fox sorcerer, whom has taken over the planet, putting all under his spell. Krystal was exploring in space when it happened, making her immune from the spell, but when she came back, the Cerinians attacked her.

"Obey...WARIO! Destroy Mario!" (j/k) :x

She fled to Sauria, and her SF-Adventures began...

That's on a fan fic of mine I'm writing now...

What does this have to do with her markings, exactly? Haha.

Well, regarding my previous post, that was my theory as to Krystal's past...now, Krystal has the markings, and the tribal outfit, because she wears it to remind her of her past, her roots, the noble original/ancient/first Cerinians, that's all...

Sort of a promise to herself and her ancestors that she will restore freedom to her planet one day.

What's wrong with magic?

I'm sure that you already know, Kursed, what a Force Point is.

A Force Point is a place on/in a planet where magic is constantly gushing out, which causes the planet to tear itself apart. The Spellstones were created and placed at the Force Point to prevent this from happening.

Maaaaaaaagic.

Actually I really don't like magic. It's a long story though.

Just because Sauria is magical doens't make Cerinia Magical.

and just because Fox's arwing seems magic to Tricky doesn't make Sauria  actual magic. heck the spell stones could probably  be explained simply by science if we looked into it.

Show me a video of Trick saying that his Arwing is magic.

Whatever you want to call it, magic still isn't that far off of a theory. In Dinosaur Planet (Krystal's game before SF takeover) she was still from Cerinia, BUT she was raised by a wizard. So, she staff existed at one point in a game where wizards and magic existed.

I'm not saying that it is magic, I'm just not ruling it out.

well the fact that the game is Now sci-fi I am  ,but moving on  let's just say for now as a confirmed theory that Krystal's Markings are Cerinian.

Oh, of course. I'd assume that majority of people would agree that her marks are Cerinian.

So, my opinions...

Thighs: Family.

Arms: Telepathy specialization.

Back: I'm thinking maybe rank? Like your social standing?

My guess: To make her look cooler. *Waits to get pounced on by people who take that seriously.*

How does it make her cooler? All it does is create a LOT MORE PLOT HOLES FOR US TO FIGURE OUT.

:P I said it makes her -look- cooler. Like the spiky hair on Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7, those markings on Krystal have no real reason to be there other than that the character designers thought they looked neat. I'm being totally literal and taking the fun out of conjecture, which is why I say it's a joke.

Well, that kind of lazy excuse works for a video game that doesn't go into the background/history of the characters. I'm talking about my Fan-Fiction, which needs an explanation of the markings, since it does have some Cerinian history/lore in it.

For those people people that are voting "Just a Cerinian thing", or "Something else", what do you guys think about this.

I think we are over analyzing this BIG time. As I have figured out through multiple events in my, not everything has to have a big elaborate reason behind it, the designers put those markings there probably to add more to the character's look. They probably ARE there to make her look cool.

If I have to vote though, I'll put its a Cerinian thing.
