He started working on the shoulder. "His pulse should be returning to normal after I got that bullet out." Sure enough, Tiberius was begining to stabilize. He tossed a grenade in the middle of the group. "GET DOWN!!!" He yelled at the others outside. Marcus, vision blurry from exhaustion and bleeding from his head and arm, staggered to his feet and collapsed onto the grass around the corner. But it was a bit too late to safe the flesh, which had been infected. He removed the bullet, cleaned the wound, and placed small maggots inside which were genetically rengineered. "These will save his arm by eating the dead and infected flesh. They wont cause him any harm. He placed a bandage over it, and nubmed it so Tiberius wouldnt feel the maggots inside. He took two bullets to his back, but he had a bullet proof vest on.A machine gunner was right next to them, and got ready to fire. Tiberius was already safe, but Jeremy and Kari were in the way. The grenade exploded, sending several enemies flying.Scarr rose up and returned fire as Shirrage flanked around. Scarr then felt a tremendous pain in his leg and he fell over.
