Dash, I know you're angry and in conflict. Hear me out. If you want to be with Sophia, I will back off. Trust me on this. He ended the link, hopped back and had him at gun point, just in case. "If you try to kill me, it'll say that you arent capable of it. Please, just trust me on this. I know what you're feeling now. So if you want this to come to a happy ending, then lets not fight, and talk about this." he lowered his gun.Dash clutched his head. The Dark Side spoke again. "I can help." he said.Dash looked at Ruby and Tiberius. "I think its time I explained. After our parents were killed in a starliner accident when they were on vacation, I took Sheila and ran to prevent us from ending up in a foster home. We lived on the streets for a good portion of our lives. My mind always plagued me, why did this happen to us? I felt nothing but anger and despair. Then one day, he appeared in my mind, its like someone else is in there. I have called him the Dark Side. Its like he feeds off of everything horrible that happens us. I had managed to suppress him, but one day, a thug tried to take Sheila, he said horrible things about what he would do to her. The Dark Side broke free." Dash paused, afraid to tell the next event. ".........I killed him, I murdered that thug, I did horrible things to him. I blacked out right before, and when i came to......." Dash seemed to zone out, his eyes blank. Sheila cringed and squeezed Dash as he told the next part "........I couldn't even recognize his body.""But I have found something. Everytime the Dark Side has come to take me. I see Sheila, and he recoils at the site of her." Dash took Sheila and held her tight. "She's my shining light, she drives him away, the light in my darkness."Tears streamed down Dash's face, staining his fur. Sheila sniffled. They sat and continued to hold each other. He then noticed Scarr sitting in front of him with his cup of coffee near his muzzle, looking right at him. "Sleep well, Shirrage?" He asked"Is this your coat, cousin?" He said, pointing to it."Yes, Shirrage, it is. Keep it if you want. I don't need it." Scarr told him, putting the cup to his lips."Are you sure, Scarr? You need it whenever it rains or bad weather comes." He told him picking up the coat and putting it on. "As much as I regret putting this on, it's yours.""I don't need it, Shirrage." Scarr patted Shirrage's hand when it rested on his shoulder. "Anything for family, cousin. Now go and enjoy yourself." He said. He took a few more sips of coffee and pulled out a napkin and wrote something on it. He sat it down near the groups' table and went back to his and remained sitting. If he didn't, then I feel a little bad for him... He looked away and finished off his cup. He asked the bartender for a newspaper and he gave him one.
