It's all good :) But man, you should really try to get around to playing the original, it's great.

If I had the money or a way to, I would have long since played it by now.

SF2 will never come to VC unless Nintendo re-writes it from the ground-up. The programming code was owned by Argonaut. Argonaut went under in 2004. The code was likely destroyed.

WELL CRAP!!!!!!!  :(  :x

emulating the fx chip correctly is not easy, because of one simple thing: lag. even emulators such as snes9x can't emulate the lag of the super fx chip, and because of that, if star fox were released on the virtual console, it would actually run a lot faster than was intended because the game was built assuming the game would lag due to the fx chip. that's what i think, anyway.

Though I doubt they will, they could always go online for a ROM and take that code. I'm also pretty sure they still have at least one beta cartridge left in their own hands.

Nintendo doesn't want to run the risk of having a good game on the Wii.

Many, many people will disagree on that.

For example, Super Mario Galaxy  has been received by many critics as the best game of all time.

That a game isn't entirely to your liking doesn't mean others can't like it.

Orly? Did you take a look at the dates of all those lists? Of course will a game which have been out for over ten years figure on more of the lists that one who have only been out for a couple.

Besides, I've got more reason to trust a source such as Wikipedia than a guy I've never heard of pulling lists out of his backside.

I have tried to be as diverse and inclusive as possible in my selection of lists. Some will inevitably appear more credible than others, but my intent was quantity more than quality.

That backside just so happens to be gaming magazines, you now, all those critics you mentioned.

And trusting Wikipedia over 'information pulled from backsides' is funny, because that's most of what Wikipedia is.

Well, I modded my wii and got the Snes9gx emulator on it, and now I can play snes StarFox 1 AND 2! with of course the classic controller :D

If Nintendo ever says that it doesn't have the fx card or whatever its called, that bullsh*t b/c if some hackers can do it, so can Nintendo.

How come I've only heard about a handfull of them then? The guy himself stated he was deliberatly avoding chosing the bigger and more credible gaming magasines. Could just as well have asked his friends of what they tought was the best games.

That's interesting to hear that come from someone who quoted Wikipedia himself only the other day to get out of the corner he had trolled himself into.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(electronic)

The thing with Wikipedia is that the idiots who come and edit things deliberatly to be wrong are outnumbered by those who doesn't. Checking again some time later will reveal if the information is credible. As is the case right now with the example you just posted. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatic_pistol

Errare humanum est, sed persevare diabolicum.

Veni, Vidi, Vici.

The case is closed. Back on topic.

I bet that Star Fox doesn't have enough popularity to be on VC, same to Earthbound.

But you gotta to be patient, Star Fox will be on VC eventally.

1. The controls might been to hard or something

2. i don't think starfox 1 wouldn't get alot of downloads so no point in making it if no one or hardly anyone would download it

Not enough popularity? I read in Nintendo Power once that it was the most requested SNES game just behind Earthbound.

When you hear most requested games, do you think Nintendo is ever going to listen to their fans or Nintendo Power? Nope.

Earthbound has ALOT of legal issues, namley alot of music uses samples from copyright material. How this shit flew in the first place is beyond me.
