Only thing i didn't like about adventures is the Fights. ALL the enemies do is block my attacks, but those arguments aside it was (and still is) a great game.

Just hold R to block them until they tap their shoulder with their club, that's an opening.

Yeah that's what i do but it's still mildly annoying when it's not really a fight as much as it is a block fest.

Adventures is my favorite game in the series and one of my favorite games ever. It was sort of wierd at first since it was different from SF64 but in the end it didn't matter since it was a great game no matter what.

I love this game...

It was cool seeing our beloved characters in a totally new environment.

Also, Fox behaviour was priceless

But honestly, I played through Adventures like 10 times or something.

Everything seems so cute and cuddly on one hand yet cool and/or dangerous on the other.

Sometimes I looked to the sky and thought to myself: "I wonder what's Starwolf doin' now?" and "What happened to Venom after Andross was defeated in 64?"

(Yes I know, cheesy, now shut up... :|)

But since in this game everything seemed to be alive (due to incredible graphics and that day-night circle) I believed something actually WAS going on in the Lylat System we don't know. And we're on this far away planet with the old remnant-ships from Andross flying around in orbit.

Sure, lots of imagination going on when I was playin the first time in 2003 (I was 13 btw) . But I had lots of fun. And in the end, that's what it's all about.

Adventures wasn't the worst game I've ever played, but far from the best. It was decent, considering it was a change from the original Star Fox formula. I've played through it once, and will probably never play it again.

Yeah, the game doesn't make you want to play it again :s

Except for maybe the first 20 minutes or so...

True. I actually did play a bit of it some time ago, but I wasn't motivated enough to make it through the whole game again, especially when there are so many other games I want to complete.

Only the first minutes are boring. After the Moon Mountain Pass it's the greatest game I ever played. Yesterday, today and tomorrow I will play it. When I done the game I play it again after removing a file. StarFox Adventures addict

Could Star Fox as a series done without it? Yes.

I know this post was from like 1 year ago but I beg to differ with you Mr. Krystal.

I don't believe Star Fox could have done without Star Fox Adventures. Why? Cuz they never would have found Krystal. And how would that make a difference you ask?

Well. No SFAd for one.

Peppy would have retired and no 4th pilot (SFAs)

No Saria level in SFAs, which would have made the game shorter than it already was.

And in command? Well, no drama (Which we could have done without),

And without Krystal, Fox would have absolutely no love life.

In truth this topic should have been called "Anybody here actually HATE adventures" that would have made more sense.

It's hard to say where SF would be at if it weren't for Adventures. The series could have been better off, or maybe not...

No, I'm not a Krystal fanboy but I'm just saying, SF wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for it.

I agree.  SF Adventures wasn't that bad (especially seeing Krystal in a skimpy outfit! :P) .
