(I know I know "Sol get with the times, spammit!") But congrats! I saw that you beat your dad in the aforementioned contest, right? My dad got an honorable mention in the Miami Dade County Art Exibition. I hope to beat him one day! It's my destiny! ....Not....But I do wanna get better at my photography. Anywho, while I'm on break, I'm freggin studying for CPhT certification.....Hopefully, if I pass, I'll get a better job and I'll pass at life! It's also kind of semi-donned on me that said person could just have been on a trip, and they forgot to tell me, but I'm still now sure, as when I last heard from him, he sounded really mad. My Father has worked as a press photographer for 19 years, and had a studio under 5 of thoose years. And has been a writing reporter in 5 years, and also been a editor and a "night director/head" for 13 Years. Meaning he has worked as a photographer and journalist and such for as much as 37 years. Well he and other "oldies" like him, thinks its easier with manual things with analogue cameras, while me and other "mordern" people like me, thinks its easier with menus and using computer softwares instead. What do you mean by "the aforementioned contest"? I don't seems to find it on a dictionary either.. the photo-club I'm a member of is quite small, like around 20 people max, I've won two times there now even tough I've only been a member for like a moth, it took my father much longer time to get fame and or so. He says that I've got so far tough I've only really been photographing for over a year now, like some photos seems to have been taking by some professional. Altough I don't feel for myself that I'm that special and good.. but/while my dad and some people around me says. All you need in some start.. and I got a real good start now (weee digital revolution!..) compared to when my dad was in my age, and after time I may buy more and more expansive stuffs while expanding in my photograhing.. I may start at media-line at the collage, but i'm not sure.. there's another college to but well I suppose this local collage would be the best anyway for me, I just dont think I would feel so good of living in another city for three years only getting home on weekends.. that college is with people who got that "syndrome" that I has, so the enviorment/atmosphere is great and things like that.. but the teachers at the local college wants me also cause there is a lack of boys for some reason. I've also kinda got my first job. My fathers neighbor owns a pet&plant shop, and she decided to make a callendar featureing every vase that she makes and paints like every moth, and I (and my dad) are helping her to set-up or so so it looks nice with backgrounds, things around and photographing. --- But it feels like people don't really cares of me.. all my friends just dissapears... Edit 2#: ...Well my oldest brother Fredrik almost got "remotely robbed"... or how to say.. he wondered why he didn't got any mail under the latest days, and today he found out that someone had/has "submitted" for several loads.. Forex among others.. although he lives in a apartment there is a separe mail-box for all who lives in it.. so it seems like someone has stoled plenty of mails, it seems like that he had not got his payment-mail either.. Is it really that easy?!... just need to take some bill and then use the private informtion to "submit" for a new credit card, and then some days later get the code... and then its just free for the theif to take out whatever money he wants.... but luckily.. he found it out today so that he could cancel things, and if he weren't home the "theif" probally would have taken the credit card code too... and then, it may have been too late... but also, the Bank said that you have to stand for any losts and such for yourself.. where is the responsiblillity?... Whats reallly funny is the stupid robbers, they couldn't open up the cash regaster even though the key was still in it. Plus in the old office room is where my video game shrine is, over $200 in games and not one was gone. As I type this the cops are still searching the place, my best guess is one of the kids that come by every day broke in. Just the other day someone stole a lizard, and came back to by food for it. Ludvig11 Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 heh, yea.. there's been several (often stupid) robberies and housebreakings or so locally here to, one person used an "weapon like" object to rob the bank, and well it was the hose of a wacuumcleaner... and ecpaped by some old bike-cycle.. and not to forgett about what happent last summer... <.< ... I dunno really how to explain it all but well.. some strange neighbor of me had been seen in his home with a "pistol looking object" .. and under the while everthing was going on... I had just got home from my brothers homes, with my new computer Monitor and so, while we saw with wonder police-lines and a policewoman comming to us asking for our sister.. I first tough something she had done or something... but she said about what it was all about.. and we had to get to some "traveller hotel" or what to call it... for temporary living in, fortunatly there was a refridginator there for our newly-bough food/goods, when we was getting to that place we saw big Security-police "blocks" or how to say.. SÄPO-vans, (like SWAT you americans have), outside of the policestation and close to the apartments, many cops... at the "hotel" we tried to sleep in too hard beds.. (I don't think we slept at all) we drived back when it was like 5AM, the city was like all dead... didn't saw anyone exept lots of jackdaws who had seemt to have taken over the city.. and when there, they had taken away the police-lines and (most) of the police was gone. We had heard before of that three shots had got fired, but we then got to know that it was the sniper on my roof who had fired at the neighbors window... and the "gunman" just had some fake-gun or something else.... the shots damaged windows and the balcony.. Talk about stupid police in this case! ... it is just one of the times the police has wasted alot of money at nothing ... Edit: (But also.. I remember when he did got some of our things at home, we didn't knew of an optional fridge.. Altough it was forbidden to be where we were (too close to the the apartment were that neighbor lived in in thier opinions) And I saw a heavily-armored police and policedog patrooling just outside when I was in my apartment's hall...) Hauled two people off. The crazy thing was it happened like within two feet of me. Whoa....stuff, like this usually happens at night. @_@ That was just crazy...... Ramuza Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 Heres something interesting that happened today at my school, during lunch in the hoggie (Im not sure if thats spelled right) section in the ceiling there was a huge banging noise then the ceiling callapses and sewage water just kept pouring out.. it was so nasty I had to skip lunch...
