To Be Honest i'd say doom 3 is pretty scary i mean the characters all have pale pasty skin, they all die and zombies just appear out of the dark(I know They become the zombies but its still creepy),about everything except multiplayer scares me in this game.I've beat the game but it still scares me.(Side Note:I cant wait for Doom 4 to come out :D)

Don't forget that you NEED a flashlight in like...50% of the game. Switch to flashlight, enemy appears. "HOLY CRAP!" pull out gun, blast where you alst saw monster. Pull out flashlight, no corpse. Monster's behind you. "AHHH!"

I think the fight with Cyber Demon made your adrenaline run because you had to CONSTANTLY run around the stage killing enemies and use the Soul Cube.

The disturbing part was when the woman in the control room was actually one of those flying demonic heads.  That part was a bit weird and creepy.  O_o

I always thought those warthog runs on Halo and Halo 3 really got your adrenaline running on legendary.

I think the freakiest part of that game is when you walk down a hall, you hear a woman whisper "over here", bloody footprints appear on the floor, you follow the footprints down to a dead end. Then the woman whispers, "They took my baby." the screen takes a blood red tint, and you hear a baby crying. Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wIuHe5hZEs

If that doesn't scare you, what will?

To be honest, it didn't scare me  :|

I've seen most scary moments in games, but that really wasn't that scary.  I believe Doom 3 means, "Hell Adrenaline Rush Game 3".  It didn't scare me a whole lot... just made me jump, that's all.

How about the FEAR games?  FEAR: First Encounter Assault Recon, FEAR: Extraction Point, FEAR: Perseus Mandate, and FEAR 2: Project Origin?

They should make a seperate game genre for FEAR. Its called Adrenaline rush, Oh holy shiz whats that.

Only scare I remember from doom 3 is the bit with the bathroom mirror. There was also a zombie that is in the lift at the start because I wasn't paying attention and forgot he was there. I shot the ceiling.

Hmmm... what else...

I liked it in Killzone 2 when you were being sniped at by a sniper, and couldn't find him.  I HATE those people in multiplayer... but I'm still trying to rank up to that level.  I've only gotten up to the medic, which I use quite frequently, and the soldier, plus with some new weapons.

Also, being randomly attacked from a Helghast from cover, or on a roof, and have NO clue where he's at

When the dogs bust through the windows in the first hallway in Resident Evil. Good memories! :D

One scary moment for me is in Resident Evil 4 when you first enter the sewers of the castle. The first time I jumped down there and heard the Novistadors running around, and you couldn't see them!

I wouldn't say I was scared, but it got my blood pumping.

(before you go nuts) I was palying MW@ on Afghan in private match with a friend. This was on my first Xbox 360 and i had it for a while until the sound wouldn't work :? so it was basically running around a battlefield with earplugs. I was on the OpFor team and i went to the high cliff where you could see the downed C-130 Cargo plane and i was wondering aloud "where is he..." i decided to move and guess who was behind me *drum roll* my friend! i screamed like a little girl and tried to jump off the cliff but he stabbed me and my corpse fell instead :(
