Zombie Exhibit

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the delay.

After the Left 4 Dead RP crashed into the ground, I was given permission to start a new RP. It's zombie museum time, and hopfully it won't crash like before.

The Set-up

Zombies (the classic kind) have correnered you. You take refuge in "the museum" the worlds biggest museum ever. You now find yourself in a gift shop with a load of other survivors and a sea of zombies outside, and when I say sea, I mean it.

The Rules

You MUST have imagination or creatvity to join. Your survival depends on your ability to outthink the zombies and creative use of weapons.

While the museum does have a collection of archiaic, modern, and future weapons, they are locked behind tough metal shutters. Not only that, ammo is limited (this is a museum, not an armoury)

You start with no weapons, items, or super powers. There are ways to obtain these things, but you are going to have to work for them.

The museum has 2 floors, roof, winter gardens, and a (locked) utillity basment.

Sabre

Good- Strength

Bad- Climbing

---

Giftshop - Nightfall

Sabre pilled a chairs and a stand of leaflets into the revolving door, stopping it from turning. Soon more zombies appears, only visable in the dark when they aproached the glass.

"That was close. Is everyone ok?" He said, turning to the others in the gift shop with him.

Heigh: 6' 2"

Weight: 210 pounds

Body: Muscular

Pros: Physically strong. Creative.

"I'm fine." Asper grumbled in return, he stared out trough the glass at the approaching horde of undead.

"Stubborn little pest, aren't they?" He said as some of the zombies threw themselves at at the glass, it held, for the moment. "That ain't going to hold forever, we can't stay here for to long."

Tiberius looked around and found a gas pipe and a lighter. He disconnected the gas pipe and pointed it downward. "Everybody into the airduct now!!!" he said, pointing to an airduct near the ceiling. (if that is too unrealistic, just tell me)

Asper gave Tiberius a weird look. "Quick thinking, but I don't think I'm going to fit trough there, and I certainly don't want to be stuck in there with zombies chewing at my a**. Besides, I think I spotted a couple of other guys around. We can't leave them alone to these guys."

(Perhaps we should wait til everyone have joined before we do anything drastic?)

(Indeed. Well wait for people to join.)

"...There's no way I'm going to fit in there, even if I can reach." Sabre looked at the pipe for a monet. "Also gas." points at pipe. "Rises." points at cieling "Ventalation." makes a flowering gesture with his hands.

(you can light the gas if you want, just saying I don't think it's a smart plan.)

"Yeah, but propane is dense, so it goes toward the ground." he said. "Thats why propane tanks are heavy." He got a pack of matches. "Get as many supplies as you can and find an exit.

Asper noticed that Thundercat had appeared and were now busy discussing Tiberius's plan, who were missing now? If his memory served him correct, it was Kursed and that guy named... Braux was it, Braux.

He started to search the shelves of the store, hoping to find anything that could help them against the undead horde swarming outside the building. He picked up a glass bottle and studied the label,"Metropolis Museum, Fine Whisky"

He shook his head in disbelief. A museum with it's own whisky brand. That was something of the most vulgar he had ever seen. Still, they'd make good molotov cocktails with some work, and if they by any chance got cornered like some rats by the zombies, he would at least be to drunk to care.

He took two bottles down from the shelf and put them in his rucksack before he zipped it up and slung it across his back.

(Filled out some more character info in my first post.)

"How many building do you know that use propain instead of natural gas?" said Sabre, who was rummaging through novalty pens with dinosaur heads on the end, putting some in in his pocket.

"Natural gas is the same thing in some ways." he said. "Either way, we need to get out of here, cause fire in the hole!"

"Just a few seconds!" Asper answered Jack which had just appeared from between the shelves.

He had completely forgotten that guy, well he knew he was good with mechanical stuff, and that was an ability Asper valued highly.

He rumaged a bit more around the shelves, grabbed a couple of sigaret lighters with the museums logo on them and put them in his pocket, he also sighted a first-aid box hanging on the wall behind the counter and headed for it.

He smashed his elbow into the the tin plate door, causing it to bulge inwards and the simple locking mechanism to slip out of its gap. He opened the locker and grabbed a few bandage rools and some other basic gear. He knew that if they got bitten by the zombies, they wouldn't survive anyway, but there were a lot of other ways to get hurt in this museum, so he took his precautions.

"I'm done here, the two others have probably already gone further into the museum, we'll probably run into them there." He told the others as he stuffed the medical gear away.

(If Braux wants to enter this RP after this, please give us a note so we may find a realistic way of meeting you.)

(Okies Dokie.)

Sabre followed Asper but just as he was about to step out of the gift shop, he paused, turned around and ran back to the flimsy leaflet stand, gently pulling one out. As he did so, a loud shatter signaled that the weight of so many zombies had finally broken the glass. Dashing back through the small shop, he pushed a bunch of plushies onto the floor. He then picked up the heavy, large jar of Egyptian themed marbles, a connection Sabre didn't see, and was to busy to contemplate. He threw it onto the floor with a clunk, it didn't break "Crap!" one more try succeeded in spreading marbles across the floor. "That should slow them down." he said, dashing back into the museum.

(I dunno. Never thought that far ahead. I say they are  human, unless you have something something particular in mind, then make them anthro.)

"We need to put some distance between them and us!" Asper shouted to the others as he ran for an elevator nearby, the sign over the door told him it was on the second floor, so he pushed the button that would send it down to them.

He cast a glance over his shoulder, the zombies were crawling trough the broken window and were crossing the gift store they had been just a few seconds earlier, some of them slittered and fell due to Saber's well placed trap. But other stepped over them and closed in on them with slow steps, gargling and howling.

Asper pressed the button one more time. The horde of zombies closed in.

He pressed it again, still no elevator. "Come on!" he mumbled and pressed another time, the zombies were getting a bit to close for comfort, he started to press rapidly.

Finally the elevator doors opened.

( I say we should go anthro since we're on a starfox forum I mean it really only changes the figures.

Krystal grabbed a spear from one of the idian dogs and tried to get out  using the Spear it barley dented the bars locking Krystal in "Dang"She muttered looking around outside for anyone since the zombies hadn't gotten this far down yet.

(Joining up, Uh... Lets see, human me... Medium hight with short brownish-black hair, usually an oversized T-shirt with jeans and Ect.)

Good: figuring things out, making traps.

Bad: Hand to Hand fighting

===

Braux, however, was inside the elevator hoping to go upstairs to look for supplies.

He yelled as a figure startled him, waiting at the door. He picked up a wooden baseball bat he picked up at an exhibit about famous Baseball Players.

(Well, on second thought I think I'll also go anthro, I'm usually a big fan of dinosaurs and reptiles, but since Sabre has that one, I'll go for something different, for a bit variety.

I'm a timber wolf, looks a bit like Wolf O'Donnell, but has got all his eyes and a bit darker fur.

Welcome to Braux! I was hoping you would use the elevator )

Asper was surprised to find Braux inside the elevator, even more when he noticed the baseball bat he was holdong, ready for the swing.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Asper grumbled while pointing a thumb over his shoulder "We've got visitors. We're going up."

He entered the elevator and pressed the second floor button, "Come on!" he yelled at the other still outside the elevator.
