I liked the Crossfire, the SRT6 had 300 horses under the hood

Now I just watched this, and I know it's a bit old, but I hadn't seen it before, awesomeness

And a cool vintage road test you might like

Don't know if you'd count a military vehicle here, but I would love to own an Otokar Cobra (despite it being Turkish).

In the past 10 years, Ford and GMC released some stuff on their trucks and SUVs

GMC has the sliding rear roof, and Ford has the tailgate step.

Now check this out, this is for a the 1963 Model Year

And disc brakes was all but unheard of in this time, only things that had disc brakes were high performance sports cars

The most advanced companies are the ones that are no longer in business

Studebaker does actually excists nowadays even. (If they didn't go away again silently during the last couple of years that is, wouldn't surprise me if they did.)

They only made one car last I heard from them. Some kind of Hummer H2 rip-off.

Neither the H1(Discontinued in 2006), H2 or H3, all the civilian Hummers, are made anymore. GM axed Hummer a couple of months ago, and production had paused a lot earlier, seeing as nobody bought them anymore and they were filling up the warehouses with them. As for the mil-spec Humvee, I think that is still being produced. but for how long, I don't know. It's an aging platform, which no longer can cope with the increasing demands from a vehicle of its type on a modern battlefield. Several replacement vehicles are being evaluated as we speak.

And, the H2 on the same assembly plant as the H1/Humvee? I must confess I doubt that. The H2 runs on the GMT 800 platform, which means it's probably produced along with other vehicles who share that chassis. Such as the Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Caddy Escalade and a couple of pick-ups.

Not to forget Brian Johnson of AC/DC! He's a huge petrolhead, and his interview/hotlap when he was on Top Gear is really something to watch.

I'm pretty sure the H2 and h1 civilain as well as the Humvee are all made at the plant here in Mishawaka. however the h1 yes are no longer produced but I betcha if i take a look aroudn the plant you can find a couple laying around.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummer_H2

I Live in that Area so I know k_e_tongue.gif

http://www.amgeneral.com/

as far as I know they are currently still making humvee's ,but yes they are slowly being phased out as newer  vehicles are being considered.

So as far as i know the only thing being made at the plant today is the Humvee ,but  that will slowly stop or proabably has stopped. I haven't seen any humvee's on the train tracks lately.

Though common-sense goes against their use, I would love to get my hands on a Peel P50 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peel_P50) or a Peel Trident (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peel_Trident). I dunno why, but something about a car that gets 100 miles to the gallon and you can drive down the inside of a building sounds like it'd be a blast.

H1 = Hummer

H2 = Low Model Hummer

H3 = An abomination that never should have existed and was an embarrassment to the Hummer name

There never would have been a Hummer if it weren't for AMC you know, they designed the original HMMWV

YES! welcome to the DARK SIDE! A Magna is a big bike to start out on. If you can handle that, you can handle quite a bit. I'd suggest something under 650 for a first bike, though.

I'm sure you'll find that running the throttle and clutch with your hands makes for much more precise control. Enjoy the quick gearshifts and awesome power to weight ratio too!

It's also nice tha you have somebody to give you pointers and help you learn. It's impossible not to have fun.
