Just now? :o Well, I'm glad you did, lol.

Of course, I've only played the Japanese version, so I failed pitifully after a couple battles. I think I chose to play as Miyu with either Peppy or Falco helping me out, if my memory serves.

I haven't played it again in ages, though I probably should.

found the english version beat it with Miyu and Fox as my partner

They made an english patch for it now.  I'm glad to see someone else has been able to try it out.  Its a pretty fun game, kinda wish it had been released.

It was well near done. It takes longer on harder difficulties, and also, Starfox? Being long? No way!!

Is it worth playing? I always thought it looked really fun, but haven't downloaded it, a little bit due to my morals and mostly due to my computer's capabilities/my bad luck with getting viruses. But I may give in to my urge to play it. It seems most people really enjoyed it, which is strange because it was a big inspiration for Command, which it seems a lot of fans didn't really enjoy...

They took some elements from SF2 and put it into Command, like character selection. This was an enjoyable game an I do recommend it.

Expert has many more missions. All planets are attacked, and there are two battleships. And it happens twice.

I know this is old, but i thought this was worth posting, http://snesdev.romhack.de/sf2.htm shows you how to make a snes cartridge of the starfox 2.

Heh, I used the xbox controller too, the fact that it uses a usb cables really nice.

To be completely honest, Starfox Command wasn't really that bad IMO. I think it's probably just one of the worst out of the Starfox games. But as Kursed said, the reason Starfox 2 has the drop on it is because: (*Gasp*) You guessed it. No multiple endings. :)

I've been meaning to play Starfox 2 on expert. It's probably the only SNES Starfox rom I would consider trying again in my spare time since I beat the first Starfox five months ago and had to go through hell to beat the Venom sub-boss and Andross. Anyways I heard rumors that if you play Starfox 2 on expert, you fight somebody other than Andross at the end. Wouldn't mind checking that out.

I still haven't played SF-2, dammit! *punches hole in the drywall*

I'll play it/download it once I get my own private computer (which I'll only be able to get if I ever move into my own place...)

Yeah expert is pretty epic if you ever decide to give it a try Kursed, its doable, but if you want to play through the entire game  in expert mode with 0% damage on  Corneria, it  requires a lot of finesse.

A friend of mine sold me a reproduction cartridge (English translated too =D) and I can't fathom why Nintendo decided to pull the plug. It's a very short game (I can beat it in a half hour or so) but it's a lot of fun for the playtime. Definitely worth a try!
