Cornerian Bar #2

Sideways

Recommended Posts

Fenris's eye fell on the couple at the bar. Dragonarians, you didn't see those often.

He were on good footing with the Dragonarians though, they just were his kind of species. But he had job a couple of years ago when he had to capture one, one of the hardest he had ever had, they were tough opponents, the Dragonarians.

The price was good though, not that it mattered, he had more money than he could spend the rest of his lifetime. He did it for the thrill, for the thrill of the hunt. Someone hunted lowly beasts for sports, Fenris preferred the most dangerous prey of them all, a sentient being.

Anyway, those at the bar didn't match anyone in his database, so they were safe for him at least.

The figure that stepped into the bar was K'tana, Kylet'oran's wife. She steadily scanned the faces in the bar until she spotted Kylet'oran sitting with Keldonar. She walked up and sat on the other side of Kylet'oran.

"Yeah, I thought I might find you here."

    "Is something wrong?" Kylet'oran asked.

"No, I thought I'd join you here." K'tana said. With a sigh as she noticed Kylet'oran's MA52B, she added, "I don't know why you have to drag your guns everywhere. There's no immediate danger here."

"No immediate danger as of yet," Kylet'oran remarked. K'tana chuckled.

As K'tana chuckled and Keldonar took a drink, Kylet'oran could sense a familiar presence. However, he didn't know what it was... or who it was, for that matter.

He looked over his shoulder and then he had it; Fenris Douglas. He had done the Dragonarian Empire a great service by bringing in the renegade commander, Commander Jolaan "Death" Brig'err. Kylet'oran didn't especially trust Fenris too much, but enough to get the job done.

Motioning his head for Fenris to come join him, he reached out ti Fenris with his mind to say,

"You interested in bringing in a Kemorainian Imperial Remnant Officer?" He knew that Fenris loved to hunt sentient beings, and figured that bringing in General Keldonar's Nephew, Vice Admiral Razuul Kedd'khan, would be an interesting job... so long as it had the right amount of credits involved...

A smile flickered across Fenris's lips. Another job sounded tempting, the one he hunted now were just some local crime boss, not much of a challenge. A Dragonarian on the other hand, now that was more like it!

He stood up from the table and crossed the floor over to the three dragonarians.

"Commander, General, ma'am." He nodded respectfully to each of them before he sat down on a spare barstool. "Now, pardon my curiosity, but what are you doing this far from home?"

He removed his shades and put them in a pocket inside his jacket. He stared right into Kylet'oran's reptile-like eyes. Most people avoided the cold, steely gaze of Fenris's eyes, but not this one. So far Kylet'oran was living up to Fenris's expectations.

"Commander, General, ma'am." He nodded respectfully to each of them before he sat down on a spare barstool. "Now, pardon my curiosity, but what are you doing this far from home?"

"Come, now, Fenris," Kylet'oran said, "Even one such as I needs a little R&R every now and then. Besides, I have heard of your... affinity... for hunting down sentient beings. I... the Empire requests that you bring in General Keldonar's Nephew, Razuul. We have an abundance of credits right now, and would be happy to pay any price you require... if you manage to bring him in alive." Keldonar chose this moment to intervene.

"I would prefer you bring him in alive." he stated, "I need him because he is the only one with knowledge of the Imperial Remnant's stockpile of the Tetrascymine Virus." With a somewhat sinister smile that revealed his serpentine fangs, he added, "And the Kemorainian Empire would pay you extra if you manage to destroy the stockpile... or at least, get my nephew to divulge that information."

"Based on the Intel reports I have, Razuul is quite a fighter, but will surrender and wil be quite fourthcoming if you best him in Battle." With a quick pause, Kylet'oran addded, "My Tactical officer is eavesdropping, so if you acept this job, he'll send you the location of Razuul's Base of Operations. Normally, I would get him myself, but I need some off-time. That, and I have no way of knowing if he's actually there or not."

K'tana chuckled, looking over to Fenris with her Sapphire-blue Dragon eyes.

"So what do you say," she asked. "You feeling up to it?"

(Two things: One, If you like, I could send you tactical information on the Kemorainians via PM or something. Two, Chapter Two of Star Fox Alliances, an older picture of my MA52B is up, and I am wondering what story to post in the Non-Starfox forum. Later!)

Fenris raised his left eyebrow, sending K'tana a sly grin before he turned his attention to Keldonar "An interesting offer commander... I accept. I'll bring him in for you, alive."

The mechanical fingers on his right arm made a clicking noice as he let them run over the counter. A buzzing fly circling over them caught his attention. His right arm shoot out and a split second later he brought it down again, with the fly scewered between his thumb and index finger.

"I'll make sure that the stockpile is destroyed as well, everything that will hinder the Remnant is good business for me. They've put quite a large bounty on my head after a couple of jobs I did some time ago, that's something I don't like, not one bit."

He stood up and nodded politely, "You know how to contact me." He then turned around and marched out of the bar.

He found his car in the parking lot, it would be a long drive back to his Cornerian hideout, where he had hidden his Wolfen. He climbed up into it and put the keys in the ignition.

The engine roared into life before it settled down at idle, the whine of the roots charger together with the thunder of all eight massive cylinders sent shivers of joy down his spine.

He pressed in the cluthc and showed the gear lever into first before he set of in a cloud of smoke from all four wheels.

(I'll be away from the bar for a while, since I'm supposed to hunt down Razuul. I'd appreciate if you sent me that info you were talking about, should prove interesting reading.)

Valenx was leaning on the bar completely blitzed.

Shirrage stammered around and caught himself against a collumn; holding his head.  "argghhh... for a guy that just woke up from a knock out, you sure do have a hard head!  Jeeeeezzz..."

A drop of blood slowly dripped down Cruxis' forehead as he chuckled with a goofy smile. "Hehe you don't know the half of it my fri.....great....." He wiped some of the blood away.

Scarr pulled out stitches and patted the chair in front of him.  "Have a seat, my good buddy!"  He pulled out anesthetics and some napkins as he waited

He stared at shirrage's supplies. "There better not be any needles in there." He said nervously.

"Well, how else am I going to get the stitches in?  And besides, you won't feel it because I'll numb that part of your head first."  He replied, chuckling a little

"Dude... would you rather me do it the new and complicated way, or the old fashioned and easy way?"  He asked, resting one of his elbows on one of his knees.

"Do they both involve needles?" Cruxis asked.

Valenx crawled into a both and apssed out totally blitzed.

(sorry, I edited it lol  Thanks for pointing that out.  I would've NEVER seen it, given by my 'Para' nature lol)

He pulled out a small white gun with a red painted at the barrel.  "Do you honestly think a Med-gun uses needles...?"  He asked tilting his head

(It's ironic that last night I had a headache as well, and took some Tyelonol PM, as well, and passed out before you posted lol)

"Just relax.  This won't take too long... since I'm not use to using our new generation of healing methods..."  He said, looking around for Cruxis' head wound.

im new to here so plz help me

(First, you need to type in the perintheses '(,)' form instead of typing without it to not confuse other RP'ers.

Second, create a character you want to use in the RP, and go to the Character Profiles thread and post their description ((It's your creation, so it doesn't matter))

Third, come back, and start RP'ing with that character, or characters)
