Cole opened the door and looked back, "Hmm?  Oh...  Right..."  He mumbled and walked out, putting his hood over his head, and jamming his fists into his pocket.  Just have to sort a few things out...  He thought to himself and halted at a stop sign, checking both ways before disappearing around a building.

Marcus walked outside for a moment and came back in with a newspaper; flapping it open and reading an article before sitting back down.  He mumbled to himself as he read and fingered down the lines.

"Whenever you're ready for a little fun you come find me." Cruxis smirked as he released a bit of dark energy from a clenched fist.

Sylum wrapped a wing and an arm around her. "You ok?" He asked

"Just tired."Kali responded.

Marcus laid the newspaper down, walked over to the counter, and ordered a cup of coffee.

"Quite unusual for you, Mr.  Ruddlocke."  The bartender intriguing ly exclaimed.  "Mind telling me its coffee, now, and not beer?"

Marcus stopped to think and shrugged, "Something to keep me awake.  I've had enough sleeping hours as it is."  He took a sip and started back off to his seat.  As he took his seat in the booth, his eyepatch viewed a screen that read, 'Message Recieved' going around in a circle, and opened the message; sipping on his coffee.

Marcus looked over, with the cup to his muzzle, and rose an eyebrow.  "Err, yes?"  He calmly asked.  He tapped a button and the message minimized back into his eyepatch.

"The Eyepatch take it off."Lupe muttered

"I...  Don't even have it on."  He said, pointing to it on the table.  He turned back and started reading his newspaper while sipping on his coffee.  "I don't plan on using it unless it's for the utmost importance  So, don't expect me to use it that often.."  He explained and smirked to her, "Alright? So, just chill out for a bit.  Loosen up; you look a little tense as it is."  He chuckled to himself and looked back at the newspaper.

"Oh sorry."Lupe replied and applied the healing paste to the end of  his patch so that it would contact his eye.

Marcus looked inside his cup and snickered to himself.  HEH!  Maybe I over compensated on drinking this.  Well, time for a refill!  He thought and walked back to the counter, but the bartender wasn't there.  He leaned over the counter, looked down the far end, then down the other end, and leaned back;  sitting on a stool, while putting his elbow on the counter and resting his head in his hand, and tapped on the table impatiently.  "Grr...  Where did that guy go...?  He was here a minute ago...."  He murmured while looking down the table.

Marcus flopped his face in his hand, "Yeeeessss...." He groaned and scratched behind his head.  "Who would have thought this place had some decensey to AT LEAST get customers orders?"  He pointed down at the people at the other end and set his cup aside.  "See, those people have been sitting there ever since I walked back in and the bartender ha--"  He was cut off when he saw them talking and drinking their beverages.  Marcus smirked, mouth halfway open, and twitched his eye, "I...  Err, stand corrected..."  He hesitantly chuckled, trying not to look embarrassed.

Lupe poured Marcus some more coffe. "I think the bartender went on a brake."

Marcus sat for a second and agreeing nodded.  "That's true.  Well, setting irrelevant differences aside...  *Ahem*."  He said and turned around to the counter, taking his cup.  "Thanks."  He took a few more sips and started back off to his booth.  "Well, not to sound strange, but is there anything you need to ask or tell me?"  He asked as he sat down.  "I feel as though you're holding something back..."  He clasped his cup with both hands and stared at her.

Marcus shrugged and stared back down at the newspaper.  He flipped the page and took a sip of his coffee, then set it down.  He fingered, again, down the lines as he continued on reading.  He came to the 'Deaths' section, closed his eyes for a split second, and turned to another section.

(Double post FTW!  Sorry, though.)

Marcus folded the newspaper and rubbed his eyes, the rested his face in his hands.  "Ugghhhhhhh...  Man, I beat...  And I have no earthly idea why..." He groaned and rested his head on the table.  He glanced up, eyes looking drowsy, just to think for a moment and caught himself dozing off.

Kyle Anderson walked into the bar on Corneria, his crimson armor covering his entire body, his SRS-900 Battle Rifle slung over his right shoulder. He ignored the slight *ding* as he walked through the door, and he stopped just inside, surveying the area and the patrons. The AI in his armor spoke,

"And you are looking for...?" Kyle didn't answer. He simply headed to the bar, sat down on a stool, and ordered a bottle of Vanilla Coke.

    Some birthday, He thought.

"Why don't you take me out anywhere?"Lupe asked.

He looked over at her and shrugged.  "Well, where do you want to go?  I'll do what ever it is you want."  He replied, setting his newspaper aside and finishing off his cup of coffee.

Marcus rolled his eyes and flopped his head in his arms groaning.  "Alright...  I can only think of two places."  He finally answered after thinking for a few moments.  "Theres an arcade building about five minutes from here, OR we go to a drive-in movie;  which is almost ten minutes away."  He reached into his pocket and fumbled through his wallet.  He counted how much money he had left, "Uhh...  fifty bucks should do...", and checked his balance on his credit card, "...I still have over two-grand?  This is improbable..."  He mumbled and grinned to himself.
