"Sure. Pizza sounds good hun......" he trailed off as he saw kyle staring at kali and let out a low growl. He decided to not pay it any mind. The man obviously looked a bit tired. Maybe he was lost in though. Oh well. "Pizza is perfect." he returned his gaze to his vixen with a smile.

The doors to the bar opened and a blue vulpine quietly stepped inside, his calm, blue eyes slowly scanning the room.  'Dang, a lot busier than the last time I came here...'

Reaching back, the Arctic Fox tightened his black headband, afterward sighing as he rolled a shoulder back.  Once done, he casually began looking for a spot to sit where he wouldn't really have to associate with anyone.  His eyes fell upon a man clad in what he assumed was custom armour looking away from everyone else as if he were hiding from the world.  'Well, that was easy.'

Ris moved toward the booth and sat down on the opposite side of the stranger.  With a twitch of his ear, he said, "You don't mind, right?"

Ris started at the voice, closing his eyes and bringing his hand to his forehead once the initial surprise had passed.  "My gosh, you girls just come out of nowhere..."

Kyle had very sensitive hearing, enough to hear (Whatever Sylum's char's name was, I forgot) growl at him. The fact that his hunting mask enhanced his hearing among other things was an added benefit. His head snapped around to face Sylum. Sending a wave of telepathic pain, he said in Sylum's mind,

"Be careful what you do around others. You could wind up heading into more trouble than you can handle."

Cool it, man! one part of himself exclaimed.

Piss off! Those who challenge me without cause shall be dealt with. his other self yelled.

"This will be your first and only friendly warning." Kyle stated in Sylum's mind. Ending the telepathic wave of pain, he returned his attention to his food. He removed his mask, revealing his scarred, deathly face, and proceeded to eat his Turkey sub.

"You Really should calm down Kyle...." KRystal said sitting next to the dragarian."Kylet'oran Told me about you you are defintly a odd one."she added.

(A few things you should be aware of, Kursed: Firstly, Kyle isn't Dragonarian. Not this one. This is Kyle Indari. Second, while Kylet'oran and his crew know of him, they don't know Kyle Indari on a personal level. Third, He's a Dragon-Shifter with the appearance of a Cerinian. It's all in the profile. Now...)

"You really should calm down, Kyle...." Krystal said sitting next to the Dragonarian."Kylet'oran Told me about you... you are defintly a odd one."she added.

Kyle wiped the mayonnaise from the corner of his mouth. "Is there something I can help you with?" he asked. (Don't take this the wrong way, Kursed. He just doesn't trust anyone. Period.) As Kyle asked this, his right hand drifted from his sub to his plasma caster.

Whoa, there, chief, Kyle's light side said. goin' a little overboard, there, aren't ya?

Will you just SHUT UP already? I can handle this. his dark side exclaimed.

Come on, now, she's just trying to be friendly! That's no reason to KILL her!

    Kyle grumbled to himself. I am a DRAGON-SHIFTER. Dragon-Shifters don't need friends.

    But they DO need ALLIES!

Grrr... Six years I've lived with you in my head, and I still haven't figured out if you're supposed to be my conscience or just some ghost sent to annoy me to death.

While his light side made no reply, he imagined he was laughing his @$$ off right about now. But outwardly, Kyle was unchanged. He stilll bore the look of a cold-blooded murderer on his face, even as he went back to eating his sub.

"Are you from Cerinia?"KRystal asked

"Are you from Cerinia?"KRystal asked

Kyle had his mouth wide open, about to take a bite out of his sub when this question was asked. The reaction was instant. His hands crushed his toasted sub, and his eyes held a loook of sheer rage. Outwardly, this would look like an over-reaction to a perfectly simple question. But to a Telepath, if one was skilled enough, they could see the parade of memories that flooded Kyle's mind.

The day that Cerinia was glassed by the Necromyans...

... Seeing his friends killled in the initial blast...

... being unable to escape Cerinia as all around him was turned to glasss craters...

... Living underground in an abandoned military base for two years as the Atmosphere of Cerinia boiled away into nothing...

... Looking upon Cerinia in orbit after the Dragonarians found him there, seeing nothing but a glass ball floating pointlessly in space...

... How... DARE... she... his dark side thought in anger. Kyle's body shook violently, as more and more memories flooded his mind.

In an effort that nearly caused him to revert back to his Yaut'ja tribal instincts, he banished the memories form his head. He then began to slowly put together what was left of his sub, his hands still shaking from the flood of memories.

Finally, he managed a reply, his eyes watering up and tears falling from his face even as he tried to hide it. "I was from Cerinia... but that's ancient history now."

In a corner of his mind, his light side mentally recited a song he'd heard:

"Search for the answers I knew all along

I lost myself, we all fall down,

Never the wiser of what I've become,

Alone I stand, A Broken man,

All I have is one last chance--"

Kyle's dark side silenced this before it went any further.

Kyle was struggling to contain the rage inside him. "Perhaps... I should... Tell you... I... Don't... Want... To talk... About... Cerinia... I've been trying to forget it for the past ten years.

"So please," Kyle concluded as patiently as he could, "If all you want to do is talk about Cerinia... Back... OFF..." After this statement, he took another bite out of his sub.

"I'd like to know what you know could you least tell me what happened to my home planet?"Krystal asked.

(No offense, but... Man, Kursed... are you TRYING to set him off?)

Kyle stopped what he was doing and looked to Krystal. His brows furrowed into an expression of rage. In a deft move that sent the table into the bar and armed his wrist blades. His hands curled into fists, and he was on the verge of going insane.

"You know what? Not once have I asked you what happened to you. NOT ONCE! You want to know what happened to Cerinia?? Those d**n Necromyan ba****ds glassed it! Survivors? I haven't heard from them since they left me to die!!! Everyone I knew died there!

"What makes you think you have the right to interrogate me on anything???" Kyle screamed. Now he couldn't take it anymore, and he dropped down in the seat in tears.

(Remember, Kursed, Kyle's past - and the fact that he was left behind when Cerinia was destroyed - have left him VERY traumatized, as you can see. If you push hard enough, you could hit the wrong button and set him off.)

"Well, now you know... you weren't the only one. If... if... you wish... I could take you to Cerinia... I don't know where the other survivors went, but I know where we can find out..."

Getting a little soft? Kyle's light side asked.

She's Cerinian... just like me. She deserves nothing less.

Retracting his blades, he looked up at Krystal. "I... I'm sorry for the way I reacted. Up until now... I had thought that no Cerinian would even want to associate with me. You did nothing to deserve my lashing out, and I'm sorry."

Kyle sat, slumped in the seat, staring at Krystal, taken aback by the display of kindness.

She apologized to him, even after he screamed at her like it was her fault Kyle was left behind?

"Perhaps I... misjudged you. I'm Kyle--" Kyle started. As he reached out for a handshake, his hand brushed his empty holster. Looking down, he discovered it was on the floor next to Krystal's right foot. "Did you take that, or did it fall out?"

about Cerinia, althrough he will not reveal

much, if he reveals any at all, and in fact

As soon as Kyle had begun to freak out, Ris cocked an eyebrow, sitting up straight.  His ears were perked and his blue eyes were focused on the supposed Cerinian.

'Sheesh, this guy's insane...What's his problem?'

Turns out he flipped because they were talking about his planet.  'Big whoop.' the blue vulpine thought with a sigh, rolling his eyes and returning to a more comfortable slouch.

His ear twitching, Ris spoke up.  "So--Kyle, was it?" he asked, knowing all too well that his name was indeed Kyle.  "Anyway, I might not be all that social, but even I know not to freak out at someone, let alone a stranger, at the slightest thing."  Giving a short nod, still focused on the Cerinian, he finished with, "I'd work on that if I were you."
