"No thanks,"  He muttered, his eyes peering further into the room for a sign of them as he let Ruby continue leading.  "I'd rather just stay focused on our little mission."

"What, are you insecure or something?"  Ris muttered in question, stopping his advance as she returned to the shelter of the wall.  Nodding, the Arctic Fox moved past her, staying out of their line of sight.  "I'll lead this time.  Ready?"

Ruby nodded saving the other convesation for later.

'Go.'

Diving out of their cover, Ris fired once at one of the figures--being unable to tell who was who at the time--before landing in a roll, ending up crouched.  From there, he fired a few more times at who he identified to be Nicole, getting up and circling the two.  If Ruby came in to help, they had a good chance, but the blue vulpine was rather vulnerable just then, too.

Ruby poked her gun around the corner and fired at both of them effectivly finishing Nicole and severly  injuring Kari's charcatr ,but just then the lights turned on and the Annoucer  said "Game over Blue team wins.

"Good game."Kari said holding her hand out to RIs to shake.

Grinning, Ris accepted her hand.  "Good game."

'Blue team wins...Ahh, that sounds nice, even if Ruby did most of the work.'

Looking over at the other two girls, he nodded.  "You ladies, too.  That was..."  He was going to say "fun," but the she-wolf acted strictly about the "small-arms training".  Instead, he just said, "That was nice."

"I'm sorry Ris I'll try to play-"She cut herself off with a yawn"For fun next time."She muttered "I'm heading to bed cya."Ruby added  exiting the room and hanging everything up.

"yeah we better head to bed Ris we'r both tired."The two Vixens said at the same time.

"Oh.  All right then."

'Dang, Ruby must -really- be tired...Left without giving us a chance to say "good night".'

His calm, blue eyes adding a certain warmth to his smile, he thought it best to say it to them before they ran off.  "You two have a good night then, okay?"

Kari and Nicole hung up the gear and waited in the elevator for Ris Ruby leaning tiredly against the wall.

After hanging his own gear up, Ris soon entered the elevator, happy to see everyone waiting for him.  He was about to say "good night" to Ruby, but he figured it would only be awkward by that point.  "Curious.  How close are your rooms to mine?"

"Oh, cool.  I'll try to stay quiet, then."  Ris promised, grinning as he didn't see any reason for him to be loud anyway.  Realizing in slight embarrassment that nothing was happening, the fox reached forward and pressed the button of their floor.  The elevator door closed and the small room began to move.

"opps sorry."nicole muttered. "sleep well RIs."Ruby muttered just before the doors open the girls all walked out and went to their rooms down the hall.

Raising a hand in farewell, he muttered a final, "Night."  His eyes silently trailed after the girls as they walked off.

Exiting the elevator, the fox waited for a moment for them to get comfortable in their rooms before heading to his own, his tail swishing contentedly.  "I guess today wasn't so bad...I could enjoy staying here for a little while."

Upon entering his room, Ris closed the door with his heel, already stripping off his black assassin's coat once more.  Dropping it on the ground on his way to the bed, he sat on the edge, clasping his hands together and staring at the ground.

'Not too bad, Ris...I think you're getting better at it all...Heh, to think Ruby actually wanted you to tell her.  Awkward, eh?'  Releasing a quiet sigh of relief, the Arctic Fox swung his legs onto the bed, rolling onto his side and closing his eyes.  He was ready to let the sounds of the storm lull him to sleep.

Guest Para Astaroth

A half-hour later, Cole was coming up on McCloud Ranch, seeing it about 200 yards away.  He continued his path until he heard a 'SNAP' behind him and he stopped.  Ears rotating around, Cole was as still as a statue as his eyes wandered about.  Soon, he could hear moment in the grass behind him, which caused his head to slowly turn around.  Cole gently set the packages down and continued staring over his shoulder; arms sparking with electricity.  "YOU CAN COME ON OUT," He chanted "YOU'RE NOT BEING VERY QUIET!"

Then, before he could react, a tall figure stormed from out of the grass before him and slammed against Cole, sending him flying backwards, off his feet, about 50 yards and roll on the ground before skidding on his side.  Cole tried to focus but was too dazed to do anything.  Then, summoning the will to stand, Cole got to his feet and regained his vision; seeing his foe charging towards him.  Cole gritted his teeth, clenched his fist which formed lightning bolts around his arm, and bolted towards the figure.  Within seconds, they both planted dominant feet on the ground, swinging their attacking fists, and collided fists together; sending a shockwave out around them.

Ris woke with a satisfied sigh, blinking his eyes open.  He laid on his bed for a minute, his hands resting on his bare stomach as he stared up at the ceiling.  It bugged him; he couldn't remember a thing about his dream, he only remembered that it was really nice.  Sighing at his luck, he just rolled onto his side again, closing his eyes.  The fox didn't think he would fall asleep again, but he didn't feel like getting up.  If he -did- fall asleep, however, maybe he would dream again.  A light smile appeared on his muzzle as the thought struck him, almost hoping that it would happen.

nobody was awake in the  Ranch mansion except Tigress and Krystal who were making breakfast they hoped that as the smell went down the  hall it would seep into the rooms and wake everyone else up. (night all.)

(Sorry.  I'll skip forward as well since I'm too tired to post the actual fight)

As thd sun came up, a battered and bruised Cole was knelt over, panting from exhaustion as his for laid on the ground defeated.  Cole, coat and pants with teared clothing hanging from them, rose back to his feet and picked up the packages; dusting them off.  He made his way to the entrance to McCloud Hall and rang the doorbell, setting the package for the other address down but held the other in his hand.

Slowing his panting to loud long breaths out his nose, Cole waited as he wiped his lower lip and stared down at the blood stained on his hand.

The young fox hadn't fallen asleep, and soon, the smell of cooking food filled his nostrils.  His muzzle twitching, he slowly placed his hands against the bed, pushing himself onto his knees.  His eyes still closed, he sniffed the air, exhaling deeply afterward.

Opening his eyes, the fox's feet swung over the side of the bed, leading him rather groggily to the door.  With his hand reaching for the handle, his blue furred tail flicked as if to remind him of something.  Shaking his head to more fully wake himself up, he walked back and picked up his shirt, slipping it over his head.  Picking up his headband, he simply stowed it away in his pocket and returned to the door, heading down the hallway towards the kitchen.
