Outside The Bar

[Ris Grestar]

Slowly nodding, the fox said, "I'll think about it.  Not sure if I could adjust to a lifestyle of work...but we'll see."  Taking another bite, his plate was empty.  Standing up, Ris grabbed the plate and walked over to the sink, turning the water on and rinsing it off.  "Thanks guys, that was good." 

It was kind of embarrassing discussing his financial situation; he didn't really care about it, which was the worst part.  Almost everyone else thought it was important.

'Well, everyone's different.  Can't judge 'em.'

[Kursed]

"It Includes a free room here."Krystal noted "So I'll make sure we get something to wake you up."Krystal noted as she finsihe her meal she collected the other plates and set them in the sink "Oh umm Ris you didn't need to rinse it off let the cleaner robot handle it."Krystal said pressing a button on the side of the sink and two robot hands came out along with the dish washer opening the hands scrubbed off the plates and silverware before setting them neatly in the dishwasher "one of Tigress' invetions."she noted simply as the machine worked "of course I do know how to wash dishes ,but when you cna get a robot to do this kinda work for you why not?"

Ris watched the robot work, an impressed smile on his muzzle.  "Wow.  Heh, that's pretty cool.  Kudos to you, Tigress."  Beginning to walk out of the kitchen, he said, "Again, I'll think about it.  In a few minutes I'm gonna head to the gym, so I'll see you guys later, a'ight?"

[Kursed]

"I'll cya there it's time for  my morning work out."Krystal said as she passed by Ris.

"Bye."The girls in the room said

The white poodle from before ,Fay bumped into Ris "Oh! sorry." she muttered backing up and going to get her food.

Stumbling back a step on collision, Ris grinned in embarrassment.  "No, no, that was...my...bad."  She was already walking away.  Sighing lightly, the fox continued on his way.  'Am I really that scary?'

Soon enough, after racking his brain to remember the way, Ris arrived at the men's locker room outside of the gym.  Opening the locker he had used before, he picked up the tank top, shaking his head as he laid it on the floor.  "Dang, I'm getting that washed...Heck, later on, I'm getting everything washed."  Dropping his black shirt into the locker, he put the tank top on and left the locker room.  Entering the gym, he was surprised to see that he had beat Krystal--either that or the gym was bigger than he realized.

Krystal came out of the girls locker room walking to the table to do bench presses  she was followed by a Orange Lynx a lot smaller than tigress  more like Krystal in cat form. both wore  workout leotards that matched with their base fur color  Krystal's blue and the Lynx's orange. (guess who.)  The lynx went to the  lifting bars and started lifting herself up. Neither girls paid much attention to Ris  focusing on their workout ,although they did know he was there.

Taking no mind to their presence, feeling it would be rather awkward, especially considering what they were wearing, Ris carried on with his workout.  After all, he already knew what he was going to do.  Stepping forward, the fox made his way towards a pull-up bar and got to work, his eyes focused straight ahead of him.

Miyu the Lynx turned her head to Ris "Your a newcomer what's your name?"she asked her tone seemed a bit more like a boys than a girls.

Turning his head, the blue fox gave a slight nod as he continued pulling himself up and letting himself slowly fall.  "Ris.  You?"

[Kursed]

"Miyu Lynx Nice to meet you Ris are you a friend of Krystal's?"she asked as she moved over to a  set of weights picking up one out of the middle."My Friend Fay told me about you."

Krystal finished bench pressing  got off the table and moved to a treadmill. she paid no attention to Ris or Miyu letting them have their Covnersation.

Ris continued with the pull-up bar, no longer trying to look at Miyu as he spoke--it would only hurt his neck if he did.  "Yeah, you could say that.  And what'd Fay say?  She's only seen me twice, once to give me a map and once because I bumped into her."

[Kursed]

"how would you know who she is?"Miyu asked with a smirk."she said your Cute looking ,but unlike half of us in here she's normal so she couldn't read you mind if she wanted to."Miyu added.

"Well, it's good to finally get a positive remark."  Ris said through a grunt, still going at the exercise.  "And how'd I know?  Come on, what other poodles live here?"

'Heh, I was beginning to think that everyone here was a telepath of some sort.'

[Kursed]

"how'd you know she was a poodle?"Miyu asked setting the weights down for a minute to relax.

krystal moved to a machine that would help  tone her thighs and began working out on it.

Ris' tail flicked towards the lynx, an odd expression on his face.  "What, are you saying you haven't seen her before?  She's obviously a poodle."

[Kursed]

"how do you know if she's the only poodle on the ranch?"Miyu asked she wasn't even using her telepathy on him yet and she already had him, she did wonder how he had guessed who Fay was already.

Dropping from the bar, Ris rubbed his hands together as he turned around to face Miyu.  It was obvious he was being interrogated, so he might as well say why he knew.  "I didn't -know- that she was the only poodle, but she's the only poodle I knew to be associated with Star Fox.

"Back in Fichina, wayyyy back when I was still there...Well, I guess about four or five years ago, my friend was obsessed with her...Don't even know how he heard about her, but he did.  Heh, I don't even know if he just thought she was hot or not, but yeah." 

Glancing around the room to decide what he should do next, Ris continued with, "As a result of his "obsession", he wouldn't shut up about her--not to be rude, of course.  His description matched the girl I saw, although he said she was a collie, so there ya go."

[Kursed]

"she always looked more like a poodle to me."Miyu replied."Well sorry about that ,but it is nice to meet you Ris."Miyu said holding out her hand to him.

"No, you're fine, just thought I'd better explain myself...It did seem kinda far-fetched that I'd know.  Either way, it's nice to be gettin' to know everyone."  Ris grasped her hand and gave it a firm shake, smiling.  "Though Fay doesn't seem to want to talk.  Heh, keeps speeding off whenever I see her.  That's not my fault, is it?"

[Kursed]

"she's a bit shy although not as much as Ruby was."Miyu replied "Besides as the second doctor in the house she does most of the infirmary inventory so she's usuallly pretty busy."Miyu explained "I keep telling her Krystal can handle it  and Krystal even tells her ,but she keeps herself busy with it I suppose."Miyu  explained with a shrug.

"I'm sure Krystal's glad to have a helping hand, at least.  Anyway,"  Ris changed the subject, grinning as he studied the lynx, "You guys are all pretty dang fit.  Does everyone stop by here often?"

most of us some just take a walk around the ranch."Miyu explained.

[Ris Grestar]

"Walks don't give quite the same results as what I've been seeing."  A small smirk was on his face as his tail flicked in the direction of Krystal and than again at Miyu.

"well everyon comes in here at least twice a week."Miyu explained.

[Ris Grestar]

"Heh, all right then.  Sorry to bug ya, I'll let you get back to your work-out."  Ris apologized, turning and beginning to walk away.
