(permission to come in with The aurora a  Justice class Cerinian destroyer  http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk34/Vixen2005/Cerinian%20ships/Auroratop.jpg  )

(Granted. I assume you know what's been going on?)

'Frick...This is a powerful ship...' Ris thought in awe as the war-ship was blown to nothingness.  At this point he was wondering if he had gotten into something more than he could handle, but that feeling only lasted a few moments.  A quiet smirk took over afterward.

The vulpine followed along into the translocation room, giving the tails of his black headband a quick tug as he stepped onto a pad as Kylet'oran had.  "I'm ready." he stated, though he knew the soldier was going whether or not he was ready.

The Translocator set Kylet'oran and Ris down in the middle of a city. Buildings were all around. Kylet'oran led Ris through a twisting maze of interlocking streets and alleys until they came to the locked gate of the airstrip. Kylet'oran held up a hand. This seems too easy... he thought...

*    *    *

Kyle Indari had the crosshairs of the AD440's powerful telescopic scope settled over Ris' head. Well, not directly, but between his ears. He let the barrel drift for a moment as his finger tightened on the trigger...

*    *    *

Kylet'oran was about to head over and pick the lock to the airfield when his COM unit came alive. "Dragon's Rage to General Jek'ari! Don't go to the airfield! Satellites in the area have just gone blind, and our sensors are picking up a distortion on the airstrip! He's Waiting for you!!"

Before anything else was said, a loud craack! sounded, followed by another. The first bullet passed between Ris' ears, while the second grazed Kylet'oran's COM unit. But even a graze from a 50-caliber bullet could render it useless.

"Dammit!" Kylet'oran exclaimed. He took off in a random direction, dragging Ris with him, and unlimbering his MA52B. Activating the secondary COM unit, Kylet'oran shouted, "This is General Kylet'oran Jek'ari to anyone who can hear this, I am under fire and need assistance!" His transmitting was interrupted with a loud roar.

FVWAAAAANNNN!!!!

(Remember how Kyle was a dragon-shifter?)

(Remember how Kyle was a dragon-shifter?)

(OOC:  Heh, yeah, I do...This'll be fun lol)

Ris' ears instantly perked up as the bullet sliced the air between them, his eyes narrowing in attention and his muscles ready.  Not long after Kylet'oran began dragging him along, the blue vulpine pulled out of his grip, racing alongside him.  "I've got myself covered, thanks!" he barked, his tail whipping around behind him as he ran.  As a sudden roar shattered whatever sense of calmness had remained in the air, the fox stopped, spinning around as his blue eyes flickered across the landscape in search of the source.

FVWAAAAANNNN!!!!

The dragon's roar terrorized everyone on the street. people screamed and ran for cover as the great, crimson-scaled giant soared over... directly at Ris. The dragon inhaled, and breathed a hot-as-plasma stream of fire in his path. Kylet'oran jerked Ris into an adjacent alley as the flames seared where he had just been. "Are you going to be a help, or a liability?" (No offense, Ris.) The dragon turned overhead, intent on making another pass. Another plasma-hot stream of fire ignited, and raced for Ris and Kylet'oran. Noticing a window, Kylet'oran shot it and broke it, then jumped inside. "RIS, MOVE IT!" he screamed over the roar of approaching flames.

(OOC:  Believe me, as long as you're playing your character, I won't get offended by what they say.  If it was -you- talking on the other hand, maybe =P)

Throwing a quick glance up at the magnificently deadly beast, Ris turned towards the window and dove inside, rolling back onto his feet with a quiet grunt.  Looking towards the window and seeing the plasma-hot stream, he turned again towards Kylet'oran.  "Dude, I wouldn't even bet that we're much safer in a building.  And you never told me there were frickin' dragons on this planet..."

(Okay.)

"There aren't supposed to be!" Kylet'oran exclaimed, leading Ris through the halls and out of the building. "The Cerinian's a Dragon-shifter! He--" Kylet'oran stopped midsentence as the Dragon's head poked around the corner. It simply stared at them. Before Kylet'oran could bring his MA52B to bear, the dragon spoke.

"Lekk this bek a lessad tok youk baath." After that, he climbed a building, took to flight, and headed to the airfield. Seconds later, the JX-50 appeared in the sky, and headed off-planet.

'So that's him...That's who we're after...'

Ris' fists were tightly clenched and his muscles were ready to jump into action, but when the dragon began speaking he listened intently.

'I didn't even know they could speak...'

When the dragon flew away, the fox was rather dumbfounded.  "Hey...Did...Did you understand what he just said?"

Guest Mr. Mario

Leon and Chris finished reading Krystal's diary together, Leon heard some fighting going on outside the bar.

"Leon don't go, I can do it." Chris stood up.

"What makes you so sure?" Leon asked.

"Because...I starred in more movies and games than you!" Chris walked over to the window

"Fine but be careful trying to confront Krystal, she has this telepath that will knock you out in seconds."

"So?" Chris was about to break the window.

"I'm going to have to help you whether you like or not."

Chris broke the window and flew with his parchute, Leon did the same.

"So when's the chance we'll talk to her?" Chris asked as he landed.

"It'll be difficult, I can't show up again cause of her telepath, she'll find out I read all of her diary pages."

Leon hid behind the building where nobody would see him.

Chris just stood there...waiting for something...

"Krystal? Where did she go?" Chris thought as he walked in circles.

"Chris be careful..." Leon said.

Chris gave Leon a thumbs up.

"*gasp* Is that her?!" Chris shouted.

"Quick, hide!" Leon dragged Chris.

'I didn't even know they could speak...'

When the dragon flew away, the fox was rather dumbfounded.  "Hey...Did...Did you understand what he just said?"

Kylet'oran stood, rifle raised, nothing to shoot at, and nothing to deal with but his own twitchiness as silence settled over he and Ris. Shaken by his uncomfortably close call with death, he checked his MA52B with trembling hands. Realizing that Ris had asked a question, he replied, "He said... 'Let this be a lesson to you both.'"

Kyle's Radio crackled with the sound of a familair voice "Kyle what in the name of Sauria is going on down there?"The voice asked.

When Kursed had spoken over his radio, he was becoming visibly shaken. He took out his radio, nearly dropping it with his trembling hands, and keyed the mike. "Krystal..." Kylet'oran started, his voice visibly trembling. Breathing heavily, he continued, "Everything's... under control. Meet us in the central airfield." Kylet'oran keyed off the mike, walked down the steps, and headed to the airfield...

"Oh, great..."  Ris replied simply, his ear twitching.  "Good to know he's still perfectly logical as a dragon.  Maybe he can't speak all that well, but he knows what he's saying."  Looking to Kylet'oran, the fox said, "You still plan on going after him, right?"

(Dude... he was speaking Dragonarian.)

"Yes, I still plan on going after him... just give me a minute here." Kylet'oran said. (Try to understand Kylet'oran, Ris. In Dragonarian culture, Dragonarian warriors are taught as children that they should never kill a dragon, dragon-shifter or no. Dragons in the Dragonarian culture are revered as near-divinity, having helped them establish their empire.)

(OOC:  I think she actually meant Kyle lol)

(Did she? in that case...)

"Dragon's Rage to General Jek'ari." Kylet'oran's radio squawked.

    "Kylet'oran here," Kylet'oran responded.

"You know that Yaut'ja warship we destroyed?" Jason asked.

    "Yeah, why?" Kylet'oran answered.

"It was a fake. It was a specially-modified Torpedo Chaff Drone (TCD) with a holographic Macro-Diode Projector." Jason stated.

    "Meaning?" Kylet'oran inquired.

"Meaning he's daring us to come after him." K'tana interjected.

Son of a b**ch... Kylet'oran thought to himself. This guy was a pro. His pattern matched someone he knew long ago when he was a Lieutenant, but he couldn't place a finger on it. "Prepare for Translocation." Looking to Ris, Kylet'oran said, "Ris, if you don't want to come along, I won't force you. But I need your help."

(Dude... he was speaking Dragonarian.)

(OOC:  Dude...I'm playing as my character =P)

(Did she? in that case...)

(OOC:  Well, she did specifically say 'Kyle' and I know they met at the bar before this mess started.)

"A minute?  For what, you still out of breath?"  Closing his eyes, Ris released a quiet sigh, reaching back and tightening his headband.  "But you know, if he actually wanted to get away from us I'm sure he's already out of reach, eh?  Not much you can do to slow down a dragon...Heh, now I can say I've actually seen a dragon -and- had it try to kill me..."

(OOC:  Sorry for three out of character messages in one post, but I wanna again point out that I only have Ris do what he would do.  In roleplaying, that's always the goal I try to achieve:  Play the character as best as possible.  Please don't take offense to anything that he says or does as, let's face it, he's just a cocky, lone, teenage kid.  I could go on with the list, but I won't for your sake lol)

(Riiiiight... Well, I still need a response from your char before I proceed. I'm glad you're enjoying this. Trust me, in Rp'ing, I can get *quite* creative. Just take a look at Star Fox: Starfleet Command [Old Threads] and Devils & Demons of the Dark [RP Requests])

(Not what I meant, but okay...)

"General Jek'ari to Dragon's Rage: Energize. Put us directly on the bridge." Seconds later, the same effects as before happened, and Kylet'oran disappeared through the ground...

... and re-appeared on the bridge of his ship. "Report." he ordered.

"I've managed to track the Yaut'ja Carrier ship that came here as he left the system." K'tana reported. Sighing, she added, "But where he's headed... you're not going to like."

"Kylet'oran looked back at his wife. "Where?"

K'tana sighed, hit a series of buttons on her console, and pulled a star map up on the main viewscreen. "He's on a precice heading to the Eridanus Secundus system."

Eridanus Secundus... Kylet'oran thought. (That's a Halo: First Strike reference there, BTW.) Looking to Ris, Kylet'oran asked, "Hey... know anything about the Eridanus Secundus system?"

(First, Just so you know, I'll be gone in less than an hour. Gotta go to Jonesboro. Second, If you want to get a good idea of what some of the weapons I keep mentioning look like, visit my art thread, "The Dragon's Lair/Armory.")

(Not what I meant, but okay...)

(OOC:  Yeah, Ris trailed off just a bit there.)

Even though it wasn't his first time, the translocation still made Ris feel both excited and queasy.  Considering the situation and who he was, though, the fox quickly shook it off, his ears perked and listening intently to the conversation passing between the other two.  When Kylet'oran turned to him, Ris' tail flicked to the side.  "Eridanus Secundus?  Heh, nope.  Not a thing."
