Peppy tapped his fingers on his glossy mahogany desk, shuffling his paperwork and signing the occasional form with his old-fashioned fountain pen. Suddenly, there was a rap on the door; it surprised him so much he knocked the bottle of India Ink over, and he hastily wiped it up with a paper towel.

"Come in!" he called out, straightening his general's uniform. His elderly leopard secretary strode in with a clipboard at her side.

"You have a visitor, General Hare," she smiled kindly. "Lucy came to visit." She stepped back and Peppy approached his daughter, giving her a friendly hug.

"How've you been, Daddy?" she laughed, sitting down in the chair across from his desk.

Peppy set his work to the side. "Very busy, but all is fine." He scratched his neck casually and gave her a sideways glance. "And you?"

"I've been having a lovely time. Just wanted to ask you if you've seen the team lately."

At the sound of this, Peppy frowned slightly. "Ah...well, you see," he began, "I've been overloaded with work...it'd be nice to visit them, but I have to take care of things here."

"Don't you have all those vacation days piled up?" Lucy asked curiously, and Peppy's eyes widened.

"Oh, yes! I've been working so hard I'd nearly forgotten about them. I know that you have the summer off, considering the fact that you're a teacher. How about we give them a call and see if we can both visit?"

"Absolutely, Daddy!" she laughed, preparing to dial the Great Fox's number on their holographic communicator.

"Oh! Yes. This is a nice craft." said Fox. "Nice and roomy."

"you havn't seen the weapons fire yet.."KRystal smirked. "I don't want to replace your landmaster tanks ,but these things would be nice to have around."Krystal muttered scrathcing behidn Fox's ear with her free hand since her other one was rubbing his neck.

"Yeah. I guess they would." said Fox. He started feeling good as Krystal was rubbing and scratching him, and was relaxing. "I hope you're not trying to convince me to replace the landmasters."

"Never Fox the thing about mechs is well I don't think any are as small as tanks we'll always need a landmaster to get into tight spaces."Krystal replied."But Tigress wanted me to ask you if you wanted to integrate some of our old mechs into the teams arsenal for ground or space combat."

R.O.B. lowered the screens with the press of a button and brought up the screen to the bay Fox and Krystal were in.  "SHOULD I SCAN THE MECHS FOR ANY INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMPLICATIONS?"  He monotonously asked.

"Right then Tigress wanted me to show you the models she can make if you don't mind?"Krystal asked standing up.

Krystal led Fox into the TigerFox Dropship (info here) "it's been modfieyd so we could have slightly larger rooms and My infirmary..."Krystal noted leading the way to her old room it had pictures of Fox on top of a dresser and a computer in the corner opposite of the bed almost blocking off a second door to the Infirmary with it's desk. "Small ,but it was home."She muttered starting up the computer.

Todd woke up after a long nap.  He went into the rec room, and slumped into a lounge chair.  He turned on the TV, and saw a commercial advertising Lola's show, Lola was seen on the screen, singing on stage, dancing, and then at the end of the commercial, the curtain closed, concealing Lola and the stage, and the announcer saying "Tickets are on sale now!".

Todd frowned, turned off the TV, leaned back, and stared at the ceiling.

Fox notices the pictures of him, and slightly smiles. "Yes. This doesn seem like a good addition to the team indeed." He was talking about the new craft though, but his thought were focused on the pictures. He didnt know she missed him that much when they were apart.

Todd went for a walk around the Great Fox, and he noticed Fox and Krystal weren't there.  He walked over to the bridge, and sat in one of the chairs, staring out into space.

As Todd listened, he fought back tears in his eyes.

Todd answered the communication signal "Yeah, what?" he asked, sulkily.

"The vehicle..."Krystal muttered.

Tigress picked up the phone. "Team Starfox, Tigress speaking." she said into the reciver.

Todd realized Tigress had already picked up the communication signal, and simply said "Oh, sorry Tigress, Lucy.." and hung the receiver up.

"Hello, Tigress and Todd!" Peppy greeted cheerfully, and Lucy gave her a wave behind the screen. "How's the team doing?"

Lucy smiled and set her hands on her lap. "We were wondering if we could use our vacation days to visit soon. We haven't seen you in so long!"

Todd got back on the comm network again, when he heard Peppy's voice "Hi, Peppy, Hi Lucy..." he said, in a morose tone, followed by a long sigh.

Todd replied "I'm just..missing Lola, is all..she's touring throughout the Lylat System, with Madame Vulpine's theater/dance/music/artist troupe, but I can't even go to the shows, as an audience member, 'cause Madame Vulpine thinks I'd be a distraction to Lola, and she's right, even Lola agreed, but it's just been so long now, and I...I...." Todd looked at the floor for a bit, and successfully fought back tears..."How're you both doin'...?" he asked Lucy and Peppy.
