Guest Mr. Mario

I saw Megamind (I'm always confused with the title, which I sometimes mistake it as Megaman.), I didn't really care that much for it, ever since Will Farrell is...just not as funny as he used to be back then

I have a strange feeling that there will be a sequel to this. One of the pluses for me was Daft Punk doing the sound track for the whole movie <3

Why do I keep hearing about an upcoming Tron sequel? I don't see how it could work.

BUMP

Now, I know this thread's more than 60 days old, but it was a very good thread and I think people forgot about it when we did the software move.

So, I just saw Rango. That was one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Very funny and loaded with references. I don't think my younger brother enjoyed it as much as I did, as most of the references went right over his head. Solid character design, solid plot, solid references, and very good animation provided by Industrial Light & Magic.

Plus, the vulpine character Angelique was pretty hot, if I may say so myself.

I just (finally) got to see Iron Man 2. I thought it was really good...though I am still confused by a few parts. I like movies that you have to watch a couple times to get all the little details straight. Lots of action...fighting...explosions...fun stuff like that!

Ok, four days since last post, so I think a double post would be okay.

I just watched Kung Fu Panda yesterday, and got completely hooked. Brilliant movie, with very little bad things to put my finger on. The animations are stunning, the story is an instant classic, fantastic voice actors and a nice soundtrack, as you can expect from Hans Zimmer. Most here have probably already seen it, but for those who yet hasn't... What are you waiting for?

What? You didn't seriously belive I had grown away from child films? One never does that!

I got an early screening of that movie,LOL. Srsly. Ok,here we go.

I want all of you guys to See: Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

It's an 80's british comedy with lots of perverted humor, executed perfectly and I enjoy it to this very day, brilliant in all aspects.

Although I may warn you,it has partial nudity (No D*cks,No Vajay Jays,No Boob,or @ss),and not for the younginns. But I did watch it at

age 6. You guys could handle that.

*DO NOT READ ON IF YOU DO NOT WANT CHILDHOOD MEMORIES CRUSHED!*

I warned you.

I DO NOT WANT YOU GUYS TO SEE THE WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE!

Jesus, where do we begin? The whole DANM MOVIE IS ABOUT SOME RETARDED KID THAT ACTS UP,HAS A MOTHER THAT USES HIM,AND HE STARTS TRIPPIN BALLS TO IMAGINE A WHOLE FREAKING WORLD,THE REST OF THE MOVIE IS JUST HIS DRUG-FUELED FANTASIES,ok acting, great CGI,BUT THE REST IS HORRIBLE,DO NOT WATCH UNLESS YOU LIKE WATCHING A KID'S

DREAMS INSPIRED BY POT,OR ACID!!!!!!! Good Day sirs.

What! Are you kidding me? That movie was a rollercoaster! You scream the whole time and throw up at the end! It's a great children's book be murdered by grimdark! It was terrible!

His mom is a cheater while his dad is overseas, and he just wants his dad home, so he goes on a magical adventure to an island where large strange monsters from some childish hell argue and dismember eachother with mud balls. Eventually this kid brings them together, but then some sort of event happens and they all hate him, so he leaves, returning to his cheating mom.

Where's the conflict resolution? Bad plots, reasonable special effects, and a whole lot of depression plague this movie. I don't recommend watching it either.

Actually, I liked Gattica. It was okay, at least. A bit boring, but okay filmmaking.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Horrible acting, boring plot, uninteresting characters and dilemas, and terrible filming does not a good film make.

That's just my opinion, though. :P

The filmmaking was good. Good use of camera angles and light. But you're right on all other accounts.
