Guest damienhusky
Nintendo's new Revolution controler is unique. Anyone have any ideas how a Star Fox game would utilize this new device? I can think of one thing. "DO A BARREL ROLL!"
Inuyasha
I really can't figure out much. I suppose it'd be a little easier to control the ship and fire the lasers, and perhaps have the shops be anglable to wherever you're pointing at, but I really can't find much application for that thing other than FPSs. Especially SSB. How the hell are we supposed to use THAT in SSB? -Inuyasha

Guest Fire Fox
no cause there all the same thing, now you actually get off your butt and interact with them. Eg swing a base ball bat, swing the controller, driving a car hold the controller side ways and turn it like a steering wheel. the list goes on, thats how the new controller functions. Sad... Thumbs up for Nintendo for their new innovation! d()b

Mr. Krystal
I remember reading somewhere that Mr. Miyamoto said wished that he could have an "airplane" peripheral for the Revolution where you hold it like a paper airplane adjusting height, pitch, yaw, roll, etc. This would be compatable with the Revolution controller, but I would prefer to use a system where the analog stick is used as it was in Starfox 64, and the aiming/firing was taken care of with the other hand. The extra triggers could be used for commanding teammates and the actual 3D motion detection could be used for braking, boosting, and other special maneuvers (sensing exactly how slight or harsh the movement is).
