SF Command Haters...

@evilwaffles LOL they so stoopid for skipping the good ones.

I think Bill and Katt sort of replaced Miyu and Fay, or at least personality wise. ^^ I like Amanda because she's so carefree and cheerful (except when Slippy goes off without telling her, of course.)

Lucy is my favorite character after Falco and Wolf. xD She's smart and sweet instead of being the stereotypical ditzy "pretty girl" or whatever. Astrophysics and dogfighting with pink fur and a girlie theme song! W00t!

Yeah I think there was an official statement somewhere that said that Katt and Bill are the spiritual successors to what would have been Miyu and Fay in SF64. I still long for a game in which everyone can be in it. I definitely want Miyu and Fay to be officially introduced into a game.

Ho sh--, there are more Lucy fans!? Awesome! She's got a pretty decent ship! And she's cute as a button with a song that compliments the fact. She's definitely got the potential to be fleshed out as a likeable character by many more. It just depends on how developers continue on her story.

Another one that I feel has potential is (D)ash. (Honestly I don't know why they changed his name, I like Ash better) Cute lil guy. Has a pretty balanced ship and a nice theme song! He could follow in his Grandpa's footsteps or continue being on the side of good. (In which I hope he remains good)

Amanda? Erh....yeah not liking her much. I think she was just added to piss Slippy haters off. Okay no, but it felt like she was added at the last second or something.

Wolf, he's a big softie inside! LOL Yeah, that makes me like him as a character even more. :wolf: AWOOO!

Okay yeah, that G-Zero was waaaaaaay out of left field for me. I mean, WTF Fox and Falco, what happens if another generic swarm of enemies comes to plague Lylat are you two still going to be racing in the Cubic Zirconium class of the master's cup of G-Zero (Lol bad joke/ref)!? Lord, I hope they don't ever ever think about branching anything from that ending and I mean anything.

...quoi? There are games produced today that aren't money-driven?

When the game is made by the same individual who gave us Captain Falcon and F-Zero, the urge to crossover is natural (see also James McCloud in F-Zero X/GX). Obviously, they were having a little fun. I highly doubt Takaya Imamura is going to say, "Brilliant idea, guys! For our next StarFox game, let's have them race in futuristic cars!" I find it puzzling that the G-Zero ending gets singled out for quite so much...contempt, I suppose? It's little more than an innocuous joke.

All games are money driven, but only by a certain percentage...

Star Fox Command, however, was 110% money driven, your average video game is merely 100% money driven xD

Yeah, its an inside joke with Ninty. I fully understand that and also knew that its was just one of the endings they had in store. But, that ending was just really sad....I mean that's the best they could come up with? Octoman being featured as an Anglar enemy was enough for me. They have plenty of chances to make more inside jokes in any future oncoming games. This isn't the first time there have been joke endings so yeah. Just don't like that ending.....

And when you use the word games, its like the context of that is only coming from the big companies. There are successful fan made games that don't even do it for money but rather recognition as the main reason, but they happen to make money. So they see it as a plus.

Doesn't anybody see how flawed Wifi was? Especially if you didn't play with people you knew?

ROFL!!!!! Yeah, it seems to me that Slippy must have gotten a little........... needy.

Now that I look at the fact that Takaya Imamura worked on both Star Fox AND F-Zero, the G-Zero ending does kinda make sense.

As for the Wifi, your right Sol. I didn't like the fact that whenever a person throws a hissy-fit from losing and shuts off their game, it kills the entire match for everybody else, very bad design. Also for me, due to lag I can be shooting at a person, things will lag up, and they'll jump to another spot entirely.

Totally! Agreed on both parts...one guy on our network accidentally forgot to check his DS power/batteries, and his thing shut off right in the middle of our match, ruining it for us.

I don't actually "hate" Star Fox Command, I just don't like it, main reason is: KRYSTAL LEAVES THE TEAM, and to that I say boo. Krystal and Fox are perfect for eachother but she leaves in this game(the dumb thing is for Panther), that's not right, and my second reason is (Not to be complaining) but I just can't do a DS, the part that makes me the most mad is the face that the enemy bases always shoot a stupid missle at you and right when you destroy everything, there it comes, and it's hard to destroy too. I just don't like it.

ahh another pantherxKrystal disliker i see...yeah well anyway panther was JUst a Tool for Krystal to get Fox back ,but something is wrong with Fox and he doesn't display jealousy.

I'll say it again though My theory to Fox kicking Krystal off the team is because He knew she was pregnant or somethin... she was just soo caught up in anger she couldn't have used her telepathy and thus CHAOS ENSUES!

and yes the missle thing was stupid.

I actually like PantherXKrystal.  :P

I don't like Krystal not having a definite characteristic. It feels like the main reason she was brought into the SF team was "Hawt Chick" that makes me frown upon her as a character. At first in Adventures she seemed pretty cool, then when it came to Assault, I though "She's slowly slipping away." then at Command, "She had potential but she's got a jacked up personality. Pass." The fact that other people are saying that she's just thrown in there as a love interest for Fox doesn't make it any better either. Because it seemed like she was at the time. Still does up to right now, IMO. Command didn't really do a good job keeping a consistency with a lot of returning character's persona but they definitely dropped the ball with Krys.

Missile part was weird. Not entirely bad for me though. It was trying to conjure up Star Fox 2 but, SF2 had more variety with the "approaching enemy". It could have been a flotilla, Star Wolf, Mysterious Space Station that was hijacked, or a Missle.

Did Krystal per se have a defined personality in the series anyway? It never seemed to me to be so. We saw her for a bit in Adventures as this enigmatic other figure, and then in Assault she was...there. We see her as empathetic, but that's about the sum of it. There was nothing quite so definitive about her as we have seen with Slippy, Falco, and Peppy. I don't think there was anything inconsistent about her character in Command, since there isn't much to her character as it stands.

She's basically the token female character, that's probably why there's never been much consistency with her, perhaps if future installments give us more Katt, Lucy, etc., they can pin down her character a little more.

I think what drew people in with Krystal in the first place is that she was the stereotypical "Hot Chick" of the group. As the fans grew attached to the character, they created their own mental image of Krystal through fanfics and such, even though she wasn't given a definite personality in the games themselves. So when Command came out and they tried to give her a personality (which, sadly, she came off as vengeful and mean) it went against the Krystal personality that people had built up in their minds, so naturally, they were angry with the situation, saying it was inconsistent, when there really wasn't any consistency in the first place.

Instead of making another Star Fox game, why don't they remake some of the recent games that came out?

Say, remake Assault so that the gaming hours would last longer than a couple hours, make Adventures seem not too similar to LoZ, and/or remake Command altogether.  Command was ok in my point of view, but... Q-Games made the dumb idea of ending it with like eight endings;  Which was, in my book, very stupid.   They probably ran out of ideas and just decided to just let the story go.

^The idea ain't dumb, but majority of what came out in actuality yeah dumb. Had the endings came out actually good, I would totally disagree with your statement.

Remakes are alright as long as they add some new content. Resident Evil 1 is a prime example. Didn't care much for the graphics overhaul at first but then I was like "WHOA! This shit is now 10x scarier than what I remember." Then they added the lovely Lisa Trevor. *Shudders* Oh the nightmares.

If Star Fox developers were to remake Command, it would be in their best interest to remake those endings. Get those characters interactions to be a bit more serious rather than "Stand up with Fox and co." (I don't mind laughing every now and then but come on. I want a good storyline!) Also, give everyone a good amount of screen time. Bill and Katt are like totally left out compared to everyone else. Really just Katt. Finally, readjust the Multi-player issues and the controls.

To tell the truth I think Star Fox Assault remake would do more justice than a Command Remake.

I think the characters were all poorly portrayed in command. Its more of a personal opinion but, again I agree with the Krystal thing. They didn't accurately portray her personality at all, whether or not she had a defined personality or not. I do not think she would of reacted the way she did. Again, personal opinion. Feel free to improvise on this.

I personnaly think there was something alot deeper to Fox kickign KRystal off the team ,but that's just me.
