Guest Julius Quasar
Ok, lets put all those ideas together.James got sucked into the black hole and it spit him out into some aparoid territory. He got assimilated. Fox kills the steryroid aparoid queen. James is freed. Yay.maybe... :D

DZComposer
But didn't Pigma betray him?Pigma did not officially exist until SF64. He was planned to be in SF2, but due to that game being canceled, we do not know anything about the story behind him as of SF2.In SNES Canon, Fox's father disappeared in the Black Hole. dYaiK-74ExsAccording to the Itoh comic, the black hole was created by a weapon Andross designed for the Cornerians called the "Gravity Bomb." Fox's father was sent to test it, but the bomb was designed to intentionally detonate prematurely, taking him into the newly-formed black hole.I say Fox's father instead of James because he had a different name in the SNES canon: Fox McCloud Sr. The Fox we play as is Fox McCloud Jr (and don't call him Junior, he hates that). In the game, if you take the third exit, you go straight to Venom. The black hole is one of two levels you need to do something special to get to. I won't say Hidden for the Black Hole, as it is on the map at all times. The second one truly is hidden: Out of This Dimension. It contains paper airplane kamikaze enemies, a slot machine, and the game's alternate ending: Fox Jr. gets his own space void disappearance.oemmH2VVFygOOTD in the PAL version (Starwing)

Krystalwp
I was just on another topic when I heard something about the Aparoid Queen using James to manipulate Fox, but now that you think about it, the Aparoid Queen uses things she absorbed right? So how could she use James if he died before Star Fox Assault? Maybe Andross was trying to resurrect himself again thru the aparoid things XD

So how could she use James if he died before Star Fox Assault? If you notice, Slippy said that the Queen had used knowledge it had absorbed, I think our dear frog friend meant that it had gotten the information from Fox's head. I'm not 100% sure, but I definitely see what you're talking about. Also, have you noticed that a lot of the dialogue in Assault didn't add up? Like on the Corneria mission, when Fox says, "These things... could.. could they be...?" Or something like that. You never find out what exactly he means by that, and it seemed a bit out of place. It seemed to pass as an unfinished quote, but it didn't look like it was headed anywhere. :falco:

So how could she use James if he died before Star Fox Assault? Its because the Aparoids absorb memories. Considering the Aparoids got Pigma and to a degree General Pepper, she can siphon the memories of James (and Peppy) from that.

Guest DRL
true, but when they showed him crashing into the barrier, he was begining to turn into an aparoid along with the Great Fox, it's hard to see, (At least for me) but it is mostly on his arms.....so maybe she has to, or her children have to, come into contact with something for her to get the dataWith all respect, dredging an already-dredgedtopic is not a good idea.
