Asper Sarnoff
RP Name/Title- Star Fox: Dungeons & Dragons.Style- Forum.Theme- Adventure.Setting- Medival fantasy world.Description- Play as a sword swinging paladin, a rugged ranger, a sly warlock ++ in this D&D/Star Fox crossover.Goal- Not decided yet.Player count- Minimum 4 others. Now as the Lost RP is going along ok and people seem to be enjoying it this far, I've got an idea for a future RP to throw out to see if there is some interest.Basically taking characters from SF and putting them in the mother of all RP setting, namely the fantasy world of D&D.If you don't know what D&D is, then let me fill you in quickly. The first edition of D&D was released back in 1974 by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, a roleplay where each player takes on the role of and adventurer and together in a party go out into a grim, medival world to slay dragons, discover vast treasures, and other adventures. The current rulebook is into its 4th edition, but as it is a beastly tome, I'd be clinicaly insane, even more than normal, to use all those here.Like my Lost RP, the characters are limited to one per player, but unlike Lost, one can chose between using an original SF character, or one that you have invented yourself. Playing as one of your own creation will give more flexibility when you adapt it to the medival setting though. If this sounds like it might be fun, then post in this topic and tell me what character you would most like to play as, please provide a link to the characters profile if you use one of your own creation. If the required player count is filled, then we will set about filling out more info on the characters and the background story of this RP. Kursed
(If we cut off the dragon slayer and maybe increase theĀ per player count I might consider it (Since I've done Medevial roleplays with Krystal before)
Asper Sarnoff
I didn't say there would be any dragonslaying, I'm to much of a fan of them to kill them off in droves. But what is wrong with having only one character per player? I find that to be far more exciting that having an entire part all by yourself.BTW, you don't have to post in brackets, (), in the request thread. Star_Dragon
Would a Dragon Rider fit in this RP?
Asper Sarnoff
Would a Dragon Rider fit in this RP?It might, but not from the start. One can start in any one of these 8 classes: Cleric, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rouge, Warlock, Warlord and Wizard. But as the adventure progresses and ones character grows, it might go far beyond this. The only limit in how far one can go in such an RP is for how long you can play. Also, since its a Star Fox crossover, all characters have to be anthromorpic animals, like those found in the Lylat system. I'll just be the same char I am in my SF: Secrets of a Vengeful warrior 'fic. His name is also Kylet'oran Jek'ari, though I could easily change it. (As I said when I first got here, I have an affinity for creative names.) And which of the classes can dual-wielod weapons? I'm thinking of using a long and a short katana at the same time. If so, please provide a link.Technicaly, none of the characters in the original D&D can attack with two weapons at once. That will be changed so that all characters can do it here. I'll post more info on the various classes as soon as I get more response.

Star_Dragon
Oh... No, it isn't the same story. It's a different one, and fairly new. If you want, I could post part of it in the fanfiction forum.
Asper Sarnoff
I'll never catch up with everything you write, and read it in the not to distant future. So it would be best if you just posted a character profile on him later on. I'm going to make one exclusively for this RP soon.

I'll be creating a character creating sheet to make things easier for you all soon.
Asper Sarnoff
I put together a character sheet for those who wants to create, or use one of their own characters. if you want to use an established SF character, say so, and I will help you fill out the background info.Fox may be a shining paladin, Krystal the heir to a invaded kingdom, and so forth.Name: Simple as that.Race: What kind of anthromorpic animal? Chose from the races known trough the SF universe.Age: I'd prefer if your character were quite young of age, reflecting that we are all of modest skills, but grow as the RP progresses.Personality: What is your character like? Cheerfull and caring, grumpy and suspicious?Appearance: What does your character looks like? Background history: How have the previous events in your life led you to this moment?Allignement: Check out here for info on your choices. It isn't a strict guideline, it is your actions that defines you.Equipment: What clothing does he/she uses? What weapon? Don't overburden your character, or give them magic items.Class: Chose between Fighter(The toughest and most hard-hitting in meele.), Paladin(Holy warrior devoted to a greater good.), Ranger(Trackers and scouts, often refers to ranged combat.), Rouge(Thieves, scoundrels and jack-of-all-trades. Though more suited to to sneaking, deception and trickery than straight fighting.) or Wizard(User of potent arcane powers, a wizard studying the darker forms is called a warlock.) This won't have much to say how you play him/her. Only to add some life to the character. Here is an example, this is the character I will be playing as:Name:Fenris Dragoneye.Race: Dark gray wolf.Age: 18 years.Personality: Driven and headstrong, with a desire to become the greatest swordsman of all time, and to find out who his real parents are. Under a rough outer, he is kind and protective for those he care about. Both a thinker and a practician.Appearance: He gained his last name due to his normally blue eyes, which when he is angered, sparks with a flaming red light. Dark gray fur. Physicaly large and tremendously strong after having grown up in a smithy. Background history: It is unknown what happened to his parents. What Fenris know is that he was raised by the blacksmith Thorgeir, a kind old man which taught him both how to make a sword, and wield it. Unusualy for the son of a blacksmith, he were also taught how to read and write. But close to Fenris's 17 birthday, the smithy was attacked by a group of bandits hellbent on stealing the weapons they had forged. Despite their valient defense, Thorgeir was cut down and slain, Fenris managed to slay or scare away the rest of the bandits. But it was to late, and his foster-father died in his arms. Fenris took Thorgeirs finest sword and what he deemed necesary from the smithy before he set fire to it and left, out into the world.Allignement: Lawfull Good.Equipment: Dark tunic without sleeves, black trousers, leather bracers. Unusually in such a cold climate, he is always barefoot. Black cape. Bastard sword(a combination of a longsword and two-handed sword.), a well worn backpack with a bedroll, some basic suplies, whetstone, rope and some other cheap items.Class: Fighter.
