He get's married and has a kid, and his kid becomes the next leader of Star Fox. That's actually kind of cool.

Because that means he had no reason to get the team back together, and that it would mean that Nintendo obviously doesn't care about Star Fox enough to fix it so instead they just throw in his generic son next generation guy in the series instead of fixing the problems they have. It sounds too much like a fan fiction happy ending instead of a Star Fox ending.

I agree It's like saying they want to end it all in fact all the endings seem fanfic with fan art as well so it seems.

Ughhh Good-Bye Fox.

Some of the other endings were stupid, sure, like LOL LET'S GO BE "G-ZERO" RACERS and the travesty that was STAR FALCO, but they were so over-the-top dumb that it's pointless to spare them thought. No one gets as rediculously defensive over them as they do Good-Bye Fox, either.

Seriously, Fox already is the "next generation" of Star Fox. That's what his entire backstory is based on. So to have another completely hideous-looking "next next generation" leader is not only lazy, but redundant. This is also why "Slippy's Resolve" and "Dash Makes a Choice" were pointless. Andross' Heir was already a character before Dash randomly showed up and Slippy's Resolve was a halfassed attempt at stopping the "lol slippery is teh gay" jokes.

There was so much wrong with command, and if possible i would have chosen all of them! Seriously the game reminded me of those Goosebumps books were they made you read and make choices so you can "choose the ending yourself." It was just a half ass attempt at writing and milking money. But I chose goodbye, fox. Urg.

It was supposed to be some kind of happy ending, and instead, it managed to be depressing as fuck. Especially for a good 80% of StarFox fans. And absolutely not in a good way.

Honestly, when I saw that hideous abomination taking the lead of the team, I raged.
