Ch.6

Fox got control of his self, he got off of the bloodied ape. He was astonished of himself, what he had done for Krystal. Fox muttered to the dead body, a few words the creatures couldnt hear.

Adams: Get that Fox dude and lets go! More are coming!

Mandoza: Gotcha sir!

Mandoza grabbed Fox by the arm, and ran. Fox was too messed up in the mind to think about it, he was depressed about Krystal. The three ran to the hangar where Fox was just at, with Krystal. Bodies littered the floor, no general though. Mandoza took Fox to a ship, they went in and left quickly. The ship was moving away from Corneria, Fox felt it. They were staying close though. Mandoza took him to a somewhat mess hall sort of room, though, the technology was short. Fox sat a table, with Adams and Mandoza still standing and talking with each other occasionally looking at Fox. Fox got up and went to Adams, he was persistent to find where Krystal was. He had to find out, he told himself over and over. He choked while the two waited, patiently. He finally managed to ask.

Fox: Do you know where a blue Fox is? Shes my race but blue, and shes very important to me...

Adams: Yeah, I think we do. Shes in the medical bay with Casey. Hes checking up on her, she was pretty beat up she's in alot of pain and we don't know if she'll...

Something broke down in Fox, something he had never felt before but it hurt. When his dad died, it was the similar feeling but this time is was bigger.. He had once in his life, he felt alone with no one to talk to.

Adams: Take Fox to the medical bay Mandoza.

Mandoza: Alright sir, lets go Fox.

Fox nodded slowly and he left with Mandoza. They got to a bigger room, with a lot of bloodied beds, though they were all vacant but one. It had his beautiful vixen on it, though her blue fur was blinded by maroon and dark red blood. Another creature of the same race was sitting by her, in a white suit though. He was started when they came in.

Casey: Whoa, you guys gave me a-

He stared at Fox, then back at Krystal.

Casey: Well now who are you? The same race I see.

Fox posed his usual Starfox stance.

Fox: My name is Fox McCloud, leader of Starfox.

Casey: Hmm youre her fiance, or husband, right?

Fox blushed when he heard fiance and husband.

Fox: Err yeah- Wait, how did you know that?

Casey: Shes been saying Fox numerous times while asleep, she might be in a dream. Shes been beaten pretty bad, Im thinking for the worst Im thinking shes gone into a coma.

Fox again, broke down, though, this time not that bad. Being in a coma meant you could still live, and maybe even recover. Fox hurried and asked, her bleeded body parts caught his eye which destracted him.

Fox: Shell be alright, right!?

Casey nodded.

Casey: Of course, we can fix a coma in no time. That or shell wake up by herself, though shes lost a lot of blood. Her thigh is also bleeding internally, what the hell happened?

Fox: A long story a very long and sad story.

Fox inched towards Krystal and combed her hair. He dropped a tear, Casey and Mandoza saw this.

Casey: Heh, I have important businesses to attend too and so does Mandoza. Well leave you two alone.

Mandoza: Wha, I dont have any-

Casey nudged Mandoza in the gut with a elbow, Mendoza lost his breathe.

Mandoza: Oh that

They both left the bay, quickly. Fox leaned over Krystals face and nuzzled her.

Fox: I wont let you die on me I promise

He kissed her, her face moved a bit then stopped. Fox literally had to wipe his mouth off, Casey wasnt kidding when he said she was bleeding a lot in places. He laid his top half body on hers, not putting much weight on it. His snout was directly across hers, cuddling. He feel asleep, a deep sleep.

Finally I have updated my story.

Ch.7

Fox woke up, but in a room he didnt know any of. It was small, though it had a very comfortable setting. There was a bed, with a maroon color and there was a TV. It had a kitchen, and a bathroom. Fox thought this might be an room for importance, because there was a picture of the so called Mandoza by the bed. Fox stretched out, then bolted up. He had to see if Krystal was okay. He knew exactly where to go, he didnt know how, but he just had an instinct to find Krystal.

Fox: Let her be okay please

Fox had that phrase in his head the whole time, repeating itself like the an endless sea across the horizon. When he got to the med room, he found Casey. Casey smirked, as if something hilarious just happened though Fox didnt think any of this was hilarious.

Casey: I was expecting you, guess what, Fox.

Foxs hope began to spark.

Fox: Is she

Casey: Shell be alright? Of course, we patched her up last night. Though now, we have to put her in the biological tank to heal her wounds. There is the tank.

Casey pointed to a huge aquarium-like tank that had tealish liquid in it, with a couple of mask-looking objects that would attached to tubes that went out of the tank. Casey then pointed to a table, that had Foxs Krystal on it.

Fox: Krystal!

Krystal was very well conscious, though, she had a slight concussion.

Casey: She has a slight memory deduction, it will be back in no time though though we have to get her in the tank though her cloths but her undergarments have to come off. You can do that, all you have to do is in a matter of speaking, take them off and place her in the tank and attach one of the oxygen masks to her face.

Fox blushed, but he knew he had to save her and make her recover. Krystal stared up at Fox and smiled, Fox knew she hadnt forgot him.

Fox: Okay I will.

Casey: Well, you go do that, Adams wanted to see me

Casey jetted off in what seemed like a hurry to Fox. Fox stared at Krystals body and inched toward it. He placed his hands on her shirt, then both hands were clinched onto it. He slid it off her, making her body like an arrow and taking it off from her arms. Fox began to shudder. When he had finally got everything off, he picked her up slowly, he felt her body warmth and it felt good against he somewhat cold arms. He gently put the mask over her face, what was strange was that there was actually a slot to put her muzzle in. He picked her up again and gently place her into the liquid, she fall in very slowly. She started to lose Fox in the tealness, all he could practically see was her tail and nose which didnt make sense to him. She started to heal very quickly, atoms and molecules were increased by 200 percent while in the tank, she had fully healed in 10 minutes. He quickly pulled her out and took the mask off. He carried her with both arms as if he was carrying for a wedding. He looked down at her, and he could see her smile back. Fox had no idea why she couldnt control herself or move. He put her on the ground, on her back, and sat by her. He had no idea what to do now, he was on an unidentified ship with her and there was nothing they could do. He looked away from Krystal and into the huge tank she had previously come from, he could see bits and pieces of her scabs that she had shed off while healing, also were tiny fragments of her broken hair. He looked back at Krystal who was sitting up and about to hug him, though he beat her to it.

Fox: Krystal! Youre awake!

Krystal: Fox, is everything alright? I felt like I was in a horrible dream

Fox: I know, I know but right now, we have to get back to the Great fox!

Krystal was on her knees when Fox caught her and hugged her, she tilted her head from his face. She then lifted it back up with a puzzled look.

Krystal: Where are we I cant pick it up with my telepathy the Greatfox isnt far away though, I can sense its near. The Tractor beam is on too, its pulling this ship to it!

Fox: Really? This HUGE ship?

Krystal: Its mostly metallic, much more than the Greatfox. Krystal then tilted her head back down to find her almost naked. She blushed almost fully, her cheeks were almost completely covered by pink patchs.

Fox: I had to- well- uhh had to put you in the tank and- well.

Krystal: Its alright, I understand do you have my extra jumpsuit?

Fox nodded pulled a capsule out of his jumpsuit pocket and place it in Krystals hand. She pushed a button and it poofed out a blue jumpsuit, almost identical to Foxs but for a womens size and blue color. She slid right into it, the two then left the room quietly. Fox in front and Krystal closely behind him.

Krystal: Where do we go, if we are going to a hangar - theres one close by

Fox: Yeah, thats a good idea.

Then a alarm with off, the ships alarms had gone off due to an intruder of some sort. Without hesitation they ran for the hangar and came upon it. When they saw the intruders they were very surprised

CH. 8

Falco and Slippy suddenly alarmed them by running right into them.

Slippy: Hey look Fal, what luck did we get?

Falco: Hey you guys, lets get out of here! These guys arent friendly, they were shooting at us!

Fox: What- they healed Krystal for us!

Falco: I think they were just fooling you or something Fox, because we asked for you and they said they never even heard of you or Krystal!

Slippy: Guys, we got company!

Mandoza and Casey had appeared with fully armored platings and assault rifles.

Mandoza: Stop there or we will open fire!

Casey: Dont run Fox, dont run!

Falco: Go guys, go go go! Fox, get in my arwing! Krystal, get in Slippys!

Slippy picked Krystal up and carried her to his arwing and sat her in the co-op seat. Falco helped Fox to his co-op seat. When they fully were in with the two humans shooting at them, they boosted off. They were nearing the Greatfox which was not to far away, Krystal heaved deeply and looked at her personal watch. It was 2 oclock P.M. Their little honeymoon had started yesterday in the afternoonthe first thing that popped into her mind was Fox after that, she thought how brave he was to save her, again. She looked back at the metallic stone in the distance, which was the humans ship. She could see a pod come out of the side but she didnt have enough energy to say or warn them about it. They landed at the Greatfox soon, Slippy popped out and Fox jumped in and took her. He took her out of the arwing and carried her to his room, slowly. She finally had enough energy to say something to him when they were walking

Krystal: Fox Fox thank you, again

Fox: No, no no dont say that.

He finally reached his room and laid her on his bed. She was still conscious and he hugged her close.

Fox: Everything is alright now see?

Falco and Slippy crept by the door way and shut the door to Foxs room.

Falco: I hope he get over this tragedy

Slippy: I hope they both do, lets go warn Peppy.

ROB appeared by both of them.

ROB: Peppy wants you guys, and Fox.

They ran to the command room. Peppy was looking looking at the blueprints of the Greatfox, also a map of current conditions.

CH. 9

On the pod that was launched, the three marines were in. Their ship was stationed and wouldnt moved until ordered, all three were armored for combat. All three could fly a bird, but Adams took command. It wasnt soon until they reached the Greatfox, bringing satchels.

Adams: Well blow up the engines and the breaker room, then well active our vision goggles and take them out one by one. If you can, capture one of them if possible other wise well take the bodies.

In the contorl room, Pepy stood at the structural mapping of the great fox, Falco and Slippy had finished telling him what happened to Fox and Krystal.

Peppy: Sounds like they had a rough time, well try and keep the pla- Oh no.

Falco: What?

Peppy: Those humans you mentioned, they just landed into hangar 1, the one you came from.

Slippy: Oh great, what do we do? Fox and Krystal are helpless and-

Falco: Who cares, we got this. Just grab your blaster, things might get dicey.

Slippy: Youre joking, right? Two against three, ironic, the odds are against us.

The two grabbed their blasters and Falco said one last thing to Peppy before going out to find the intruders.

Falco: You safeguard here, okay? If they try anything clever, tell us over our jumpsuit transponders.

Peppy: Okay, Ill lock the door when you guys leave. Just call if you need in.

Falco finally left to the hangar area, with Slippy, while Peppy sat in the room thinking.

IN the corridor connecting the hangar to another room thats connected to the engines, the group of marines get out of their ship and get safely into the hangar and set a perimeter.

Mandoza: Im getting something on the radar sir, two coming this way!

Casey: Hide, quick, to the ship!

Adams: No wait- come this way!

The three enter through another door as Slippy and Falco enter the corridor the humans just left.

Falco: Look for clues on where they are-

CH. 10

Slippy felt Falcos expressionj of fear, and he soon felt what he was feeling.

Slippy: Falco, what is it?

Falco: The corridor to our private quarters have been broken into.

Slippy: That means Fox and Krystal!

The long and narrow corridor where the doors on each side where frequently, the marines travel carefully.

Adams: Damn these ship building plans are messed up

Casey: I think I know, were near living quarters.

Adams: How did you know that?

Casey: It said it on a sign back there, on the way.

Adams: heh.

Mandoza: Sir, lets try this door.

In Foxs room, Fox lay silent by his door, when he heard a faint whisper. His door started to budge in front of him.

Casey: Okay lets try that one.

Mandoza: Opening it now

Mandoza pushed the door opened and pointed his gun into the room, not going in, strafing from left to right until he said it was clear.

Mandoza: Somethings on the bed.

Adams: Me and Casey will check it out, stay here.

Mandoza: Yes.

Mandoza stood at the door, behind a cargo box that was there. Casey walked in first, and ran to the bed. He chuckled, and turned around at Adams.

Casey: Its the girl, Krystal!

Adams: Okay, get her. Shell help us end this problem.

Casey: Alright!

Casey: sat besides her on the bed, and picked her up with two hands.

Adams turned to Mandoza, then to Casey who was slowly coming towards him, he turned back to Mandoza.

Adams: Clear?

Mandoza: Yeah- wait, I hear something.

Adams: Casey- CASEY!

Casey was shocked by his voice but while Adams and Mandoza were talking, Fox had come out of under the bed with a golden combat knife, Casey dropped Krystal and turned around to find Fox right in his face, he grabbed for his gun over his shoulder but was too late- Fox had stabbed him right in the sternum with the knife. There was silence, Casey fell to the ground, seeping what was blood, but in the darkness because of the light was out, just dark redish liquid. Fox stood there, with a faint frown, he slowly opened his mouth then closed it.

Adams: No, no! Get away!

Adams ran to Caseys body which was on his back, bleeding from his wound and mouth. They all three had helmets on, to their size, Adams was the largest and was white on his black and dark suit, Mandoza was the medium sized, and was Hispanic, and Casey at the youngest and smallest. Mandoza saw nothing but darkness due to the lighted corridor and the darkened room. Adams shook Casey until Casey stopped coughing and hacking up blood. He took of his helmet to reveal a young man with short brown hair, a thing nose and a dimple in his chin. His eyes were closed. He tore Caseys Dogtag from his neck and put it around his own neck. He held the helmet in his hand, still staring down at Caseys face but standing up. The moment of silence continued. He peered up at Fox through his helmet see through vizor.

Adams: Why? He was only a recruit his first actual mission I was suppose to protect him and you

He grabbed his rifle which was strapped around his shoulder. Fox noticed this action and reached for his blaster.

Very good story, and if you don't mind I'm going to be a bit of a critic. As a fic writer to another. The story is good, yes, but could've been better if you read over it. There were mostly stupid little mistakes like putting he instead of she. One thing that kinda bothered me was the use of "Of course" it got repetitive. I think you also had a tad too much description. Once again, very good. Better than most the stuff we get on the Nintendo forums.

Either way it's a great story, my second favorite, my first favorite is Reflections of Krystal. But it's a close match. You should write another one ESF, you're a great writer.

the combination of classic war stories, and starfox, nothing that i had ever read in my 5 years as a fanfiction reader....

as a critic i will say this:

Most of this work is good, but i think you got over exited in some chapters, the elements of surprise are a little hasty, but fine......the dialogues are clear and direct, the description parts are good but they could improve, your stile is unique, that was something i liked, well this were the principal things that i noticed in your story; for being a 16 age fanfiction writer, you are great, you have a long way to become an expert, keep showing us your work because is very interesting, and i hope you keep training in this great art..
