rainfyre66
So I'm sure everyone here has had an idea for something that they thought would be a great video game. What is/was yours?I remember when I was like 8 or 9, I wanted to make a game called "Koopa Kids Adventures", a Mario-like platformer where you play as the Koopa Kids to rescue your dad (Bowser) from an evil wizard (who had helped Bowser transform the people in the Mushroom Kingdom in the first Super Mario Bros. only to be betrayed by Bowser, and was now getting his revenge was the backstory.) Each kid had their own strengths, weaknesses, and powers. Geeky and childish, perhaps, but I still think it was a clever idea for a game!
Hatsworth III
i think on two different versions for a same game: nintendi ultimate stars(brawl-like fighting with lots of famous nintendo characters, no matter if they are old or new) and videogame ultimate stars(brawl-like fighting game, with all of the most epic videogame characters)
Guest Para Astaroth
I've always wanted a Starfox game based off my fanfics and/or from others, such as Julius or rainfrye. I would love it to have multiplayer that would involve intense gunfights, explosions, and yelling; that from either the Battlefield series or Call of Duty franchise. It would be cool if you could decide if you wanted the game to be played over-the-shoulder (Gears of War) or First-Person (CoD/BF).
Sabre
Back in the day I had various ideas that has since fizzled out. Including a Jurrassic park game where you ran the park. (wasn't made until the PS2) The idea of a game where you had to drive between locations on a bike involving lots of car chases (headhunter stole that, but had a mess of it). There were others, but mostly along these kinds of lines. The original mechanics have dryed up since then. There is one game I want to make, but I can't work out how to do it without breaking the sence of disbalief and making the player angry. The basic concept is a sort of old style horror game, fixed cameras all that lark, where you play as a woman with no shoes on. The idea being that the surface itself is your greatest enemy. Brocken glass, acidic monster blood ect ect. The idea would be to solve puzzles using logic, for example sweeping glass out of the way, or using tables as a makeshift bridge ect. The problem I have to overcome is how to handle foot damage while keeping the game fun and stopping the player from carrying a sweeping brush with them and breasing through any broken glass in the game, turning it into a game of street sweeper which is not what I have in mind. Most of my games work off the dino crisis 2/parasite eve 2 mold of points from kills = weapons, armour and prizes, but you can't really explain well exicuted. MonarchyOne
A little too many for me to name Sorry. I always id want to make a sci-fi street racing game, though (think Burnout in the future, lol). That, and I've wanted to make or help make a Starfox RTS using the Command & Conquer: Generals engine. Star Fox Runner
I had an idea for a game that mixes together the melee style fighting of the Legend of Zelda, with the third person gun fighting of Resident Evil 4, with the ability to switch back and forth. Also there would be some speed based stages involving a vehicle of some sort, maybe a jetbike. The objectives would change depending on the situations, I haven't really hammered them out because they would tie in with the story. In fact, the more I think about it, the twilight princess wii engine would be perfect for this game. Melee combat, the over the shoulder bow and arrow would fit in for the gun modified so you could actually move. Riding the horse would work for vehicles, although modified to go at high speeds. The story is something I haven't quite hammered out yet. It would involve genetic experiments by mixing human and animal DNA to create the ideal soldier, in an accident, the experiments break free. Your character is one of those experiments, most likely the animal your character will be is a fox, (yes very original I know), the premise of the story is to find out why you were created, and to survive against the other experiments. Falcory
Actually made a thread about this once:A lot of you probably know that guy up there in the video. Some of you may call him Horn head. But most people know him as Daredevil.Dardevil has only had one videogame, (For the GBA) and has appeared in some other Marvel tittles. (Such as Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Marvel: Rise of the imperfects and so on.) A PS2 and Xbox game was planned, but was however cancelled. (Shown in the video above) With a new Daredevil movie on the horizon, I thought it would be cool to talk about how the movie game should be.Here's how I see it. Daredevil could be a mix of Spiderman 3 and Phoenix Wright. Daredevil would have the total freedom to explore Hell's Kitchen, and stop random crimes. But the game would also focus on a court mode, where Matt Murdock would have to defend his clients. The two modes could also mix: Daredevil would have to track down certain criminals to get confessions, and collect evidence, while some criminals may start a super-powered fight in the courtroom, forcing Matt to change into his alter-ego. Of course there would be certain unlockables like alternate outfits, new combat moves, and maybe even bonus characters to play as.(*coughbullseyeandelectracough*) Any thoughts?Others I had was one that I had named the Legend of Sheik where you would play as Sheik, and the story would take place within the seven years Link was gone. The game would be like a mix of Legend of Zelda/Metal Gear Solid, as Sheik would have to use stealth tactics in a lot of places and not be seen. Of course you would use her chain mainly in combat, and other weapons such as needles and deku nuts.Another idea I had was just recently, had something to do with the Megaman series where the two Megamans would meet up (Megaman, Megaman X) along with their allies and enemies, (Such as Protoman, Zero, Bass, and Vile) in a unknown city due to a time warp. This of course causes a huge good vs evil robot war to ensue. The game would play like Spiderman 3/Hulk ultimate destruction. On the hero side you must save citizens from enemy robots and hazards, while on the villain side you're encouraged to cause as much destruction as possible. Each side would be tasked with missions, and there would be unlockables such as new weapons and characters.

Star_Dragon
Yeah... Chronicles of the Mirdakian Rift War. It's a game I would like to make based off of one of my old stories. In this game, you can choose the course of a war that has been raging for a half-century. You can either play as the Telgorians or the Mirdakian/Mirdakian-Dragonarian Alliance. It would also be a FPS game.If you choose the Telgorians, you would play as a member of the Slayer Legion, the best troop division that the Telgorians have to offer. You would be tasked with conquering this and that, winning glorious victories for the Telgorian army. After each victory or defeat, there would be a journal entry played (depending on the outcome of the battle). Classes: Assault, Hvy. Weapons, Demolitions, Engineer, Pilot, Medic, Death Warrior *Unlockable Special Unit*, Telgor *Unlockable Hero*, Gen. Tii'Gaat *Unlockable Hero*.If you choose the Mirdakians, you would defend this and that for a few levels, where at that time, the Mirdakians meet the Dragonarians, and then launch an invasion of the Telgorian conquered territory. Classes: Same as above, Dragon Rider *Unlockable Special Unit*, Kyle *Unlockable Hero*, Malic'iaar *Unlockable Hero*.Any thoughts?
Asper Sarnoff
Got to many ideas to name. Most of them I viewed as unique and tought they would be really cool to play. Seems others tought that as well, since many of the ideas have been used in newer games in the past years.
Hatsworth III
i was making an rpg game, I didn't named it, but is an dragon quest style game, that an ninja and his skeleton friend goes on an adventure to kick the butt of an guy that amolst killed him in a dream, but the dream was true, and with the time the funny story gets more serious but without losing the funny scenes, but i made it in portuguese (i'm from Brasil, if you don't know..), and the other one that is complete is: "the adventures of neko" (neko=cat), the story is simple, an cat needs to get back his powers that were stolen by lucifer, it's very short, but when you end the game, you can play freely, in an map full of strong monsters, and if you get to the 99 level, you stay with 999 in all stats. the main character is based on okami. Wolf OConner
I've always just wanted to make an insane game. Something along the lines of Garrys mod but with a shitload of weapons( Ive drawn 700 of them so far) and some premaid campaigns that let you choose a weapon set before you enter the mission. StarFoxIII
A World War III game that plays kinda like Call of Duty or Medal of Honor is an idea of mine. It would have a story mode for 2 different sides (like WWII's Allied Forces and Axis Powers) and would have a multiplayer mode where you could choose armies, troops, weapons, veichles, etc. from several different countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Russia, China, Israel and numerous other countries. Sound like anyone would go for my idea?
Vy'drach
Kinda sounds like Battlefield: 2142 there StarFoxIII in it being able to take place in a future occurrence.I myself would love to see a decent behind the shoulder type game such as RE:4 style, but with a character editor that was very very generous and detailed, because I can't be the only one who sees the game characters and thinks, "This game is fun, but I don't wanna be this guy, I'd rather be *insert character here*, because I think just about any game would be more fun if I could play as Krystal , except the games where something truly violent happens to em if you die, like what happened in the older Resident Evils where the creatures who killed you then would devour you, I would not risk seeing that happen to her. But really any game that allowed good character customization is fun, like Mortal Kombat: Armageddon allowed me to make a perfect copy of Duke Nukem, and I'd like to see more games have such a feature. Hatsworth III
i've made an game called: burger war, and all that you need to do is to click it to shoot and score points. you cant let the sandwich fall into the fire, and the sandwich bounce when it hits the wall. StarFoxIII
This might sound borderline bizzare and maybe even stupid, but recently I've been thinking that it would be pretty cool to see a Virtua Fighter game where Fox, Falco and Krystal are playable fighters. Hey, if Link got to appear in Soul Calibur II and DK in Punch-Out!! Wii, why not let these 3 show their stuff in VF?
The Green Fox
Why not a game where you can play as midna the whole way through? I have a video game crush on her, if that makes any sense. (I know it doesn't!) XD. You could play as her searching for a way to get back to Hyrule even though the mirror broke, or something.
Sabre
While it's a long way off yet, I currently have 2 plans for a game I plan to make once I have finished my practice games. While the basic design and goals are the same, but perspective is different for each one. Depending on what my preference is when I finally have the ability to make it, I will have it either top down or side scroller.

Showtime 1-1
I'd like to make a Starfox 64 style Rail-shooter game for Area 88. either that, or a fighter jet game for a console system with realistic controls, super-easy yet reality-based dynamics and ample enemies. evilwaffles
I have been planning a major game production using the Quake 3 arena Engine for about a year and a half now. I have been studying the code and have realised it is possible to make a story mode. I have made custom maps for Quake 3, Tremulous,War§ow, and Return To Castle Wolfenstein seeing as they all use the same basic mapping program, so level desgin is pretty much in the bag. So I need to finish my studies with 3D modeling and programming before I even start to attempt the game, so it would be two years from now before I start ...if I still have the inspiration to do it by then. The only parts I have done now is the story and level layouts.
