Sector-T
I love the voice from Star Fox Adventures, it's pretty darn awesome. What do you guys think?
conaly
Hi,I hate the Adventures voice - Fox sounds (and talks) like an upset child...The SF64 voice is much better. In SF64 he is more like the serious leader of a military operation and the dry voice makes it much more authentic. Interestingly they gave him quite a few sarcastic phrases ("Why don't you come down here, Falco?") and with this phrases his voice sound quite funny^^Btw: you forgot the SNES voice. Not the computer-voices in the radio talk - but after beating Andross there are a few short real voice clips In SF2 there are a few of them, too. (except for Krystal's voice)...Fox unfortunately sounded to me like a cross between Michael J. Fox's "Marty McFly" character from BTTF, and Tobey McGuire's "Stuart Little" character, or he sounded like he was going through pubertyFalco sounded like a European trying to sound like an American by [poorly] hiding his accentPeppy sounded 80 years old and constipatedDon't get me started on SlippyFox's voice was only "okay" in SF64, it sounded good, tone-wise, but was rife with lisps "Th-thay your prayerth, Androth!" "We're Thtar Foxth!"with the SNES voice...you just hear: "Da-dam-dam-dam-da-da-da-dadam!" "Wing Damage!" "Wing Repair!" "Shields!" "Incoming Enemy!" "Twin Blasters!"and, as conaly said, the dialogues between Fox and General Pepper at the end.I prefer the Star Fox Assault voice the best. Jim Walker did a great job there. StarFoxIII
I think Jim Walker's the best Fox I've heard. His voice for Fox sounds like an all-American professional who defines the leader that Fox is for his team. Mike West was also pretty good, but personally I hope to hear Jim reprise his role in future Star Fox & Super Smash Bros. games (though they might just recycle clips from Brawl to cut costs for the latter series, you might hear something new). Sector-T
Well excuse me for living Julius! lol, just kidding. But it is true, Star Fox Assault does sound pretty good, but I'm still sticking with the voices in Star Fox Adventures. I would actually like to have the SF64 voices but you could actually hear them better instead of like julius said how they sucked at talking. Guest ReEfiniZ
I liked SFAdventures of Fox's voice. It expressed his emotions more, unlike in SFAssault his voice was pretty monotonish as if it expressed seriousness only...Except that when he exaggerated when at Sauria with the convo w/ Krystal XD
Guest Julius Quasar
Jim Walker should do the voice for Fox McCloud in the next Star Fox game, IMO...or Matthew Broderick, perhaps? "Life comes at you pretty fast,...if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it!" ...or Jason Bateman? "I don't want clients to think the Bluth Corporation does shoddy work!"*pats wall unit top shelf, making the whole wall unit fall apart*...or Jason Lee? "ALVIN!!!"...or John Hodgeman? "Hello, Coraline...and...Coraline..doll."...maybe even Billy West? (j/k)

I understand where your coming in, but I still think Jim does the best Fox. Also, it was also the first time he did the character's voice, so room for improvement for the future is plentiful as of yet. I'm not trying to argue with you or disrespect your opinion, as we're all entitled to have one, I'm just trying to explain my POV.

In Melee's cutscenes, Steve Malpass (a Welsh voice actor who would later voice Fox in SFAd) did Fox's voice.
