Guest FoXXX
Uhh... No. Yeah, yeah, THOSE guys!! LOL I just loved walking around on the Sargasso Space Station, waiting for them to respawn, and just doing it over and over and over. What game was it that this happened it? Lol, I can't remember anyone else intercepting the teams communications and blaberring off.
Kit-Karamak
In assault, SF was trying to send a transmission through while they were hunting for Pigma who went through Sargasso... I think the transmission was to Beltino or something. It got cut off and showed a "transmission severed" message or some such on the main view screen behind the characters. Suddenly, Rufian is on the screen and he's bouncing around like a spaz, then gathered his crew and has them Instant Transmission TO the Sargasso base to protect it. He's talking about sitting there as they come out of the spawning machines and wasting those goons endlessly.

Guest Para Astaroth
I've done all of those things and it came to no dice. My guess is that it's gotten old, I mean I got it whenever it first came out, and it's just saying it's through playing games for me.Has anyone found Fox's voice in the first SF game to be quite humorous? I mean, "Yaba-deb-deb!!"??? LMAO, Then followed by Falco's low gubbing sound, then Slippy's pixeled croaking, and then finally Peppys small chirpping! Guest Julius Quasar
The crazy monkey gang people from 64/Assault! "GWAAAHHH, SCUM!!!", "I'LLL REMEMBER THIS!!!!". I also love how the guy that intercepts Star Fox's transmissions ALWAYS got up close to the screen and blabbered off. I laughed so much when he did that!!! LOL you mean RUFFIAN! Uhh... No. Yeah, yeah, THOSE guys!! LOL I just loved walking around on the Sargasso Space Station, waiting for them to respawn, and just doing it over and over and over. Kit-Karamak
Of course, and we get to hear our own voice do a version of it for SF:C. Steve Malpas was my favorite. Yeah, people hate on SF:Adventures but... Fox was a mercenary. He cared about the money a little more, he had a little bit of a soft side at times, and you could tell he had the hots for Krystal when he met her... Nintendo let Rare give him a little bit of balls, a little bit of gusto and the character is portrayed to have a sense of purpose. Someone asks him to do a side task and he's like, "Im not getting paid enough for all of this." He's a grumbly bachelor who needs desperately to get laid. They made him ONE OF THE GUYS. ...Then a few years later, we all see the first internet teaser for SF: Assault and you get this WEENIE go, "STAR FOX IS BAAACK!" with a blocky craptastic version of Fox McCloud running up a ramp in Corneria City to horrible music. Everyone wanted to CRY. Yeah, Assault turned out okay but... Rare has more talent. Ever hear Battletoads music, back when they were tradewest? That stuff was rockin'. Their audio team is insanely talented. The rock you hear from the juke on GF at the beginning? YES PLZ! The first time you flew an Arwing in search of one golden ring? That was like... "THIS IS WHAT WE NEED, BUT IN MULTIPLAYER! AHH!" Great engine... too bad it wasn't DESIGNED to run with those textures in multiplayer... so Namco dulled it all down. Sure, Namco had a winner with Krystal's voice actress but their Fox McCloud needed work. He got better near the end of the game, though. But he was kinda'... well.. a bit of a weenie. At least he got some gull when talking to Tricky in front of Krystal. lol. I'm sure family-man version of Fox would be way different than in SF:Adventures. It just sucks ass that Steve Malpass is gone. GOD I loved his rendition of McCloud. That's probably the ONLY reason Wolf left him alone in that game... because Fox was being more manly, so Wolf was like, "dude, Okay... he's being cool right now, I'll leave him alone." XDDDDThe ONLY thing I could have EVER asked for in SF: Adventures... would be duel-stick control, so I could swing the camera around when using Fox with the other stick. But that won't happen with the way it's laid out. And WTF is up with the way they changed the controls on the virtual console for SF64?! I love the game but... I go to hit the break, a bomb comes out, I go to hit the boost, I slow down... and now I have to take my thumb off of my blaster just to hit the boost or turn, etc. I'm like... WTF OVER?MY SHIPS CONTROLS HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED BY AN APAROID AND THEY'RE NOT EVEN AROUND YET! ahem. Btw, Miyu and Fay had funny squeaky voices, too. xD

Kit-Karamak
And like EVERY man ever... he was one VERY SORRY GUY to have pissed off Krystal in SF:C. Hell hath NO FURY like a woman scorned. I think we all know that. Of course, once he manned up and showed not only some backbone but some heart... she knew it was time to run back into his arms. Depending on how you play, though, she doesn't quite RUSH into his arms... but she certainly gives him another shot in multiple endings. Why? Because they're destined to be! That's why Fox doesn't wind up with anyone else... he was fated for the blue alien girl. Why? Because = :MARCUS: (I know, there's no avatar for Marcus, lol.) To me... Marcus is gunna be the man, dude. Can you imagine being able to play as him? Dad's instincts, mom's telepathy... maybe, during boss battles, they'll make glowing spots that you can telepathically sense as the weakness, and during character conversations, before you choose what you're going to say next, you'll have the option of hearing the other character's hidden thoughts, and stuff. haha. That would be friggin' rad. So rad that I doubt Nintendo will do anything with it. LOL.Either way, I'm ready for StarFox Wii. I wanna take Fox and company over to a lush, green version of Venom and kick Dash's butt all over the place. If he is to become the 'Ranger' of Venom, I doubt anything good will come out of it. Absolute power corrupts absolutely! And, as Falco so eloquently worded such, "IT'S TIME TO SHOW THE MONKEYS WHO'S BOSS!"

SlyJedi
What makes me love StarFox? Great characters , for starters: I just love Fox McCloud and as I have said before, he is my favorite Nintendo character. His teammates (Krystal, Peppy, Falco, and Slippy) and freinds (Bill, Katt, etc.) rock as well. Also the story to StarFox is just so cool (minus the Command crap). Kit-Karamak
LOL, Foxxx! You agree with just about anything that is anti-Command. C'mon, we all know Nintendo put him back with Krystal. No harm, no foul, right? xDI half think Nintendo did that to see which ending would piss off fans the most, so they know to avoid it. Y'know, they just added "MARCUS M." to the character listing on FanFiction.net. Kursed still isn't available. See that's the one thing I REALLY liked about Command... the fact that they give you a little insight to the distant future of Star Fox... NOT ONLY do we know Fox and Krystal have a feasible future as man and wife... they went so far as to tell us what the kid's name would be, the kid's gender and show us what the kid would look like, who he would fly with, and that Falco is still a fighter pilot. If you ask me, that's a pretty awesome thing for Nintendo to consider. I see it this way... Nintendo RARELY goes into details with their Intelectual Properties when it comes to ROMANCE. Has Mario EVER gotten to second base with Peach? Nope. What about Link and Princess Zelda? JUST ONE KISS, AW C'MON, PRINCESS! Nothing. Samus? Nope. The way I see it, Nintendo was "TRYING THEIR HAND" at taking a game franchise and TESTING THE WATERS by going into dramatic detail... I mean... Krystal is hurt, USES Panther to make Fox jealous... then, depending on how you play, either goes BACK to Panther or goes back to Fox with the possibility have having KIDS... which implies procreation. I think Nintendo wanted to see if they would receive a SOCCER MOM BACKLASH if they went and wrote an entire game storyline around Krystal's relationship status. They received no such backlash... so, in MY opinion, one of the BEST THINGS about STARFOX... is that Nintendo finally dared to tackle the issue of dating and mating for their characters... And BECAUSE they decided to take this BOLD storyline move with Command... and BECAUSE there was no backlash... they'll probably give us a romantic building plot (or subplot) for Fox and Krystal in the NEXT game. And now that Krystal and Fox know what life is like without one another, they'll be far more respectful of what they have TOGETHER in the future... which means that the characters will receive the 'true love' merit, as well as the 'dramatic past' flaw, making them far more complex characters... which, to ME, says that Nintendo takes the characters more seriously than we originally realized. A lot of time and effort had to go into making all that dialogue and tying the paths together so that they would work. This means Nintendo probably cares more about these characters and their soap opera lives than they do with many other IP characters. SO! With that said... I love Star Fox that much more because they're the first nintendo characters to actually have a realistic life / drama / emotion / romance / etc subplot going on. PS: Long live Fox'n'Krystal. I'm a hopeless romantic. On the other hand, Panther is just... hopeless. xD
