SHe quickly laid farther down stretching out her body as she swung her legs across the floor and into the scavenger's legs in attempt to trip them."From the brain patterns I'm getting there are guards under those flares."Kadie replied. Guest Para Astaroth Posted November 20, 2009 Share Posted November 20, 2009 Para saw the ships and huffed whenever he didn't see them react. "Ok, plan B..." He mumbled and flipped to his feet. He stalked the sentries as the paced back and forth, not seeing Para lurking above. Without warning, Para swifly activated his saber and swung it downwards, cutting a sentry in two and spinning them around as they opened fire, and their rounds ricochetting of his sabers. "Give me a second!!" He said through his head communicator and as song as the sentries went to reload, Para threw his sabers, vertically spinning, and sliced the sentries in half. He picked up his sabers and responded back, "She's inside! Just try to blow a hole without caving the place in!" Guest Para Astaroth Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 One of the shots grazed a Scavenger's arm and he winced slightly from the burn. After that, they all tossed their guns aside and whipped out their melee weapons: 3 wielding twin curved sabers, 4 with javelin staffs, two with long scimitar blades, and the leader rested his massive iron hammer on his shoulder. "ATTAAAACK!!" He yelled and all of them ran towards Krystal, yelling while flailing their weapons wildly. Guest Julius Quasar Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Todd and Lola kept an eye on things, making sure no one tried to ambush the team from the air, and that no one on the surface could cause them any trouble.Todd watched the air, keeping the Malestrom's barrier shield and cloaking device engaged, and Lola monitored the surface via the ZVF and other scanning equipment, as she joined Todd up front once again, siting and buckling up into her seat next to Todd's seat...Todd saw Lola and buckled his safety restraints in his seat as well. Guest Para Astaroth Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 All the Scavengers' legs were frozen solid and they tried their hardest to break free; grunting and yelling as they did so, and flailed their weapons once more at Krystal. The leader, unsatisfied by what he was watching, slammed his hammer down to the ground, and swung it sideways towards Krystal while emitting a highpitched frequency noise.Para, sneaking into the cave, stumbled to the ground groaning in pain, while gripping his head. His head piece showed that it was on the fritz and he staggered to his feet; vision blurred by the highpitched noise the hammer gave away. He caught himself against the cave walls while following his instincts to where Krystal's location was, and stood against a pillar, then coughed a simmer of blood up. Kursed Posted November 22, 2009 Author Share Posted November 22, 2009 Krysta slashed at the hammer with he sword in attmept to both block it's attack and try to cut it then focusing her energies she put her staff away and sent the emotions of a Major headache to the leader. his mind was probly too strong for a mind trick ,but nobody not even herself could easily avoid emotions. Guest Para Astaroth Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 The leader got distracted by the surge of emotions and lowered his weapon, shaking his head and becoming a bit bewildered. Para activated one of his sabers, but he couldn't summon the strength necessary to focus his vision on the leader and was forced to deactivate it and collapse onto on knee. He started breathing hard, still glaring up at the leader and gripping his saber, and staggered to his feet; advancing very slowly to the leader.The leader heard Para's footsteps and swung his huge fist behind him, connecting with Para's chest, and sending him crashing through a pillar, then ragdolling into the wall; knocking him unconscious with his head piece cracked along the backside and the visor glass cracked.
