He had synchronised it with the bomb, and it was now only 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... A deafening sound suddenly hammered against his eardrums and a shockwave ruffled trough his fur.The whole sky was illuminated by the explosion as all the lights in the base went out. From within the buildings came screams of terror. Fear was surely a powerfull weapon.As the flames from the explosion went down again, everything became pitch black. But as a wolf, that didn't posess much of a problem for him. But it would sure make things more difficult for everyone else.He passed the huge shadow that were his enemies vehicle. A Landmaster. He figured with the tought of disabling that as well, but decided to leave it, and instead took another box from one of his belt pouches.He placed the small tracking device on the underside of the tank. If they by some chance escaped his claws, he would have less trouble finding them now.He got up again and started to make his way toward the building where the kid was. As soon as he left the door outside, he suddenly got an uneasy feeling and stopped in his tracks; slowly looking around. "Krystal..." He whispered "...We're not alone..." Then he whipped out his sabers, humming as they turned, and stayed in one place; eyes wondering around in thermal view as constant schimatics popped up and minimized. Fox was never introduced into this RP tough, and as your Todd and Lola are way deeper, more interesting and less overused characters than he is. Why not play as them?) They left the Climate Control Center to find Krystal, Kari, and possibly Jackie.Fox was gripping the safety bar, in the back, holding on for dear life. Although he was sitting, strapped safely in the back seat, he was still doubtful as to Todd's abilities to fly in a blizzard. "Todd!? For crying out loud, be careful! I don't wanna wind up dead!" he said. The Malestrom bucked, dove, and rocked wildly."You would rather wind up getting out and walking!?" Todd sneered. Lola giggled at this. Todd wasn't flying too badly, the winds were blowing extra hard where they were, and it was hard to see, but Todd had the Zero Visibility Function of his Malestrom ship engaged at the ready, along with the shields.Fox sighed, and said "All, right, Todd, just....please be careful!" he said. Fox felt like he was going to pee in his snowsuit he was wearing. Todd also wore a new snowsuit, as did Lola. They were triangulating the last known position of the Landmaster Krystal was driving, along with Kari."According to the comm records, they successfully found and rescued Jackie." Lola said. "Yeah...but I have a feeling they're in trouble..." said Fox. "Yeah...I'll bet Jackie got shot down, by someone...someone who's after her 'cause there's a price on Jackie's head. Word on the street is just that. A bounty on Jackie's head." said Todd.Fox chuckled. "You sound like Falco, when you say that, Todd." Fox said, knowing of Falco's past, and his demeanor. "Yeah, well, I kinda heard it from Falco, and a few other friends..." said Todd. He zeroed in on the command base."Uh-oh...something's wrong here...why is the power out there!?" asked Todd.The Malestrom hovered near the base. "Give me the child." He commanded in a voice cold as ice. "Give her to me, and no one else needs to get hurt."As to emphasize this treat to not be something taken lighly, he let the claws of his mechanical arm run down the wall of the nearby building, sending out a ear-piercing shriek and sending sparks flying.
