rebel_gunman
*Break here* I think that pic on the Great Fox's comm. room is just something to kind of add some decoration or details. Like in Corneria in Assault, you see the news in the big building's screen, at the top, you see a news reporter that looks like a feline... that's just for details. Just saying. *Continue with the discussion previews to this post, thank you*
Dashster
also I have something to say: I'm gonna try to continue workin on getting those side missions (I had given up but I found something interesting worth trying).

It's a poster of an unknown character. 2. It's in a room that, other than this one, has only Starfox related textures (Fox, Slippy, Peppy, Rob, Arwings, and emblems). 3. It can't really be seen without freezing the screen. Making it less noticeable. Now, if this was a poster of Fox with his blaster, or maybe a "General Pepper Wants YOU!" (for the Cornerian army) poster, it wouldn't be nearly as interesting or out of place.
Mr. Krystal
I got the whole Star Fox Adventures soundtrack. ESF sent it to me ^^! (50 mp3s, 105 mb). You're probably looking for that?? D: Sort of. But, like these adp files KCat and I are finding, if we can get the actual game data for the music translated, it will be a "perfect copy" of the soundtrack. It will also probably have all that music that is "missing" because of the DP to SA move. Edit: But sure, post them somewhere! Oh, and sorry about the double post. Dashster
ow.. my head hurts.... I was trying beating story mode on gold level.. Its a separate record aside from the mission scores.. Maybe beating story mode on gold should unlock those missions.. I died on Corneria tho.. General Pepper's flagship is freakin hard.. owowow...someone give it a try as well..? rebel_gunman
Just keep firing like crazy. That's what I do. Doesn't even touch the wolfen.
Dashster
You have to keep the crosshair on the flagship all the time or else he hits you and destroys the wolfen with only 3 hits. Anyway.. I'm gonna continue where I left. Altho I got this game over thing it could still work.
Dashster
gah nevermind.. this is impossible.. There are so so many things to try.. -Beat everything in bronze, silver, gold (including story mode and survival) -Beat Xevious -Get blue score in mission mode (high score) -Get all flags -Unlock everything in vs mode -Or maybe just... playtime.. I already beat mission mode in bronze and silver, need flags for 2 missions and I need gold medal on 5 missions, I need to beat story mode on gold, already beat survival, already unlocked everything on vs mode, I got like around 6 blue scores, I can't beat Xevious. rebel_gunman
It takes time to do all that. You can't expect to pass everything in a single day. Just take it little by little, piece by piece.
RPGmaster2000
-Beat everything in bronze' date=' silver, gold (including story mode and survival)[/quote'] Check. Guest Edge
strange how the extra game is harder than the main game. I think it's a lot of fun ^^.
Mr. Krystal
strange how the extra game is harder than the main game. I think it's a lot of fun ^^. Am I on the right topic? There should be a different topic for this. We haven't even done any Assault hacking yet.
Dashster
Hey that's right!! dwight is there a way you can extract all the rom files from the star fox assault rom and see if you find anything about these arwing side missions?? I'm very very positive its true because the friend (my best friend Eric) who I trust the most once unlocked them until his memory card just disappeared :{.. and besides his GC stopped working. Today he bought a new one and I will lend him Star Fox Assault when I see him again so he tries to unlock them again (he exchanged his SFAssault for 2 games ). But yeah please try and help me out with this.. I know i'm not lying

But yeah please try and help me out with this.. I know i'm not lying I've never heard of these side missions. What are they? I'm currently downloading Assault. You wouldn't believe it, but I somehow managed to delete it while halfway through (a story in itself, I somehow deleted my download folder while inside it, which is possible in OS X). So I'm starting over. I'll let you know what I find. It will be about a week to download.
RPGmaster2000
A week is worth waiting when it comes to secrets such as these. BTW, shouldn't the Action Replay coders have detected these missions by now?
Dashster
I don't really know its really weird but Eric (the friend I trust the most) never ever lies to me (and if he did he would'nt make such big jokes like this one besides that I have discussed over this a LOT of times with him). And he's willing to help out re unlock them. Also, thanks for helping out dwight ^^. I once mentioned these 4 arwing side missions before (long ago). As he described them. Its four arwing missions with no story cutscenes or different music in them. One of them looks like asteriod field from SF64 and he remembers fighting 2 bosses from N64 (Solar and Area 6 bosses). Also, he played and played for so many days straight and he used to play the arwing missions a lot and he did NOT unlock anything in vs mode so that means it has nothing to do with this. He did get all the medals and flags but he said nothing happened after he did. Just one time when he was playing he randomly unlocked those. RPGmaster2000
That's odd... Did he ever play Xevious?

I hate to say it, but this is (if true) a glitch; not an unlockable. I only know of one occurance in the history of video games even remotely similar. Sonic 2 had about 3 levels that were advertised in gaming magazines, but ended up not being in the game. They can only be played with a ROM version. Nintendo wouldn't keep 4 whole levels a secret. It's not their style. The most they've ever kept secret was the Golden Eye codes and the Final Metroid Code. If these levels did exist, they are like these sound clips we are finding: never intended for viewing. What your friend saw was either unfinished levels or Assault levels with data errors (giving a new look, different enemies). If this is the case, chances are that your friend's game disc is the key to unlocking the stages, not any amount of beating certain missions or Xevious. I could be wrong, but to me the chances of these missions' existance is well over a million to one.
DZComposer
Hmm... Hidden Beta Missions? This sounds like a job for some Action Replay hacking. Too bad I don't have a clue on how to do it. I scour the code sites and see if anyone else has uncovered a way to unlock them.
Guest Cainine
Those two voice clips of Krystal. Did they have the end movie to go with it?
