Mr. Krystal
Hey, Steve Malpass is still around. I am in contact with one of his relatives and plan on interviewing him soon. Anyway, what's this hot coffee mod you speak of? Also, I've seen this a really hi res already, but I'll hook it back up just for you with my component cables and try it out. We shall see. However, I still doubt it will be readable even with progressive.

It is a sex mini-game mod for GTA:san andreas (sp), there is a part in the game where one of the chars go's to his GF's house for some hot coffee( ), well some programmer put this mini game in, and released a program that unlocked it. The makers of said hot coffee mod/the game where in violtaion of ESERB, and got in troble with anti-game folks and all kinds of stuff..... SF hot coffee, that gives me an Idea........*grabs sfx cart....* just kidding
Mr. Krystal
oh. I highly doubt that is what the poster is for.
DZComposer
Actually, the hot coffee Mini-game was already in the game. (It had been action-replay hacked into light on the PS2 as well). The programmers removed all links to it from the maing ame code. But this modder started poking around in the program and discovered the code. He then coded a patch that would allow someone to unlock it. This caused a huge controversy, mainly brought forward by anti-gaming zealot Jack Thompson. The ESRB was heavilly criticized by Thompson and those that share his view for "ignoring" the explicit content. The ESRB at first stated that this was the result of fan-tinlkering and the ESRB couldn't do anything about it, but under increased pressure, the rerated the game AO and that got it pulled from many store shelves until Rockstar removed the Hot Coffee code. This has set a bad precident, as the ESRB basically admitted to misrating the game despite the fact that there was no way they could have know this minigame was in there. The onl way is for the ESRB to get entire copies of the game's code and pick through it with a fine-toothed comb, which is unrealistic at best as it would require a lot more manpower and time to rate a game as well as create the potential for code leaks and such. This adds fuel to the Ant-Gaming people who claim the ESRB is incompetent and a conflict of interest as it is run by the ESA (yet they forget that movies are rated by the MPAA )
Dark Fox
Exactly, though it dose look like the blond fox from SF@, dosent it. And they can never stop gaming, not as long as we have PC's and compilers. and they're is no regs on that Jack Thompson: *playing GTA:SA with AReplay* "God, This is awsome!!!!!!" Secratary:"What are you doing?" Jack Thompson:"Examining the enemy, and enjoying every minute of it!" Seratary:"OOOOOOOOKKKKKAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!" Guest Ian Rubin
As best as I could enhance the first image... The second one I saw... From what I can tell, it says 'Fox' on the first line, with a line coming from the 'x' to the 'f' like in all of the logos, then a heart after the word. The next line reads 'Love'. The images look a little better if you squint.

Guest NUS-64
Yeah' date=' it's just that it isn't canon. Like the older Metroid comics are pretty much ignored because of so many inconsistencies.[/quote'] Shows how much you know about Metroid. A lot of people did the same thing, but worse; not only did they discount the Metroid comics' credibility, but outright dissed the comics. And now...now I laugh at them. I laugh because Old Bird, one of the main original characters in the comic was also featured in the official online manga (canon, because it was on nintendo.com) AND in Metroid Zero Mission. Both released around ten years after the Benimaru Itoh's humble little "non-canonical work". Benimaru Itoh is a designer that has worked for Nintendo in the past. His name is featured in the "Special Thanks" of Star Fox 64, because, although he wasn't directly involved with that project, the game borrows characters (The Star Wolf Team) that were based off of his original designs from the cancelled Star Fox 2 (which bears his signature art style, btw). He is known to be the designer of Fara, as the comic precedes Star Fox 2, and the artist responsible for much of the artwork of the original two titles. So, Nintendo hires a guy who is involved with the Star Fox series and makes character designs to draw a comic book adaption for the official American magazine and it is somehow NOT canon? Hmm? What about the fact that there is precedence for TWO characters of his that ended up being canon (almost canon, in Fara's case, as she is only in the early version of Star Fox 2)? I think maybe you just hate Fara because you love Krystal so much (EDIT: Though this is just my opinion and is not meant to be taken offensively; as if I really need to point this out) I find that a lot of people are really just one or the other (Krystal or Fara fans). (EDIT: Again, for the sensitive people, this is my opinion based on what I have found in my limited experiences as one human being)

Kal
You agree with flamebait? *shrug* I don't like Fara because of her ears. I didn't like her before Krystal showed up. Miyu, on the other hand...
Guest NUS-64
Flamebait? ........ *slaps forehead* Forgot this was the internet! D'oh! Silly me with a differing point of view.... Whatever, dude. You don't have to resort to name-calling.
ONE_HELLCAT
1. I don't believe that's flamebait. 2. Flamebait's not name-calling, it's a term used to describe potentially offensive stuff that can cause a flame war, like politics. 3. Your reasoning about why people don't like Fara doesn't have any real backing. For instance, my friend loves Krystal, but also think's Fara's cool. 4. Fara's alright, my only problem is that she kinda looked like a man in the comics. 5. Go ahead and have a different point of view, just don't go insulting each other on opinions. Guest NUS-64
Select, cut, and paste the area of text in which I insulted someone's opinion. And if that's not literally what you meant, then don't even bother. I don't have time to waste defending myself over petty and false accusations. Zicka
He pretty much described the exact mentality of all the n00bs at Nintendoforums. They all love Krystal, but they get all pissy and angry when Fara is mentioned. They can't stand the fact that Fara WAS going to be Fox's official girlfriend untill Rare dumped their leftover Dinosaur Planet character onto Nintendo. Guest NUS-64
Me, I'm not on either side. I'm with ONE_HELLCAT's friend, I think they're both cool. Granted, it took a little time for me to warm up to Krystal since I had been enjoying the Star Fox comics since I was younger. Now I think they're both cool. And who knows? It looks like Star Fox Command is (nearly) total revert to how things used to be for McCloud: Fox is no longer with Krystal, the characters are wearing their old outfits, and the art style has been rebooted to something closer to Benimaru-san's style. Meaning? Well, if you add all that to the rampant speculation that this is in fact a rebuilding of the unfinished Star Fox 2, and we might just see a certain Fara Phoenix pop up, even if just for a small appearance.. Zicka
Meh, I would be able to tolerate Command a lot better if the ships actually looked like they could fly.
Conall Drest
Back on topic now before I lock this. If you wanna argue over Fara and Krystal make a topic for it and if things get sticky in it ill lock it.
Guest NUS-64
The argument had stopped before you even posted that. Besides, if people post about Fara and Krystal, then that's where it'll go. No one's forcing anyone to talk about either that or the pin-up poster. Does anyone have anything interesting to say about the pin-up poster before I get accused of staying "off-topic"? And has anyone considered that it might be Katt? If that were the case it'd be Falco, not Krystal, who'd have taken the poster down.
Zicka
Hey... There was no need to delete my post. It just proves that Rare is full of furries. You want more proof? Go play Conker's Bad Fur Day. It's a relevent statement.

XG Fox
I do seem to recall this being a topic about that poster in the Great Fox in StarFox Adventures, is it not? How in the world did this topic get so off track? First off, Zicka... how does your quote "Rare is full of sick furries" apply to this poster in the Great Fox? Or how does your quote about the newbies (NOT n00bs, mind you) at Nintendoforums also apply? Care to elaborate for us? By the way, please stay on topic, this is my point here. >_> I'm also kinda wondering how everyone here seems fairly positive that is IS Fara, when no such character was ever officially released? For all we know it could be Miss Lylat. ? Aaaand now's the time when we get back on topic. Kthxbai.
Guest NUS-64
You said "rare is full of sick furries" which is flamebate so thats why I deleted your post. *Sigh* How was it flamebait? Someone might have gotten mad at the insinuation of.....? Zicka clearly meant to say that Rare is full of sick furry fans. As in perverted artist who draw scantily clad furries. Calling a furry fan a furry is not unheard of. What Zicka had to say was completely related to the Great Fox, because he was responding to my question: "Does anyone have anything interesting to say about the pin-up poster before I get accused of staying "off-topic"? It was a silly little attempt to get back on topic. So if you want everyone to be tight-assed, why don't you stick a "Serious Business" label before the topic line so people will know not to joke around? Not trying to be rude here (really, before you say anything, I'm NOT trying to be rude here), but do delete your own post up there as well as this one, because they're sooooo off-topic. Right? *Sick of admins that act like power-crazy cops* EDIT: I realized that I must write something Great Fox-related before the almighty one deletes my post for whatever reason. I think Katt's the girl in the poster. The girl looks felinish, and she has blonde hair, too.
Kal
...No, I don't think so. Whatever she is, she has a long muzzle, ergo, not a cat. I think it's just a pinup of some random swimsuit model.

I don't care if you think that dosen't matter, because it does. As to it's relevence to the poster. There is only so much you should be allowed to do in the world of talking cartoon animals. To put up a poster of a scantily clad animal, thereby insinuating that the Starfox team has the mentality to derive pleasure from viewing such a thing, automatically makes the game a lot more mature than it needs to be. I know this is hard to comprehend by furries, but most people do not like seeing animals put in any kind of human-oriented sexual context. :/
