Asper Sarnoff
You call THAT a dreadful crash? I've seen worse crashes on the Garden State Parkway, I-95 and Route 9. I saw a car completely flipped over outside a McDonald's one time and a bus on fire another time. The Mickey-D's rollover incident had several bystanders, police and Ambulances watching as the driver was trapped in his car.Everyone have SEEN worse crashes. But as I have said earlier, these cars almost don't deform in a crash. Take a look at this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiijO25GxIUThat share the same platform as the one I crashed in. And as you can see, it deformed about as much as well.

Asper Sarnoff
Luckily, it hit a wall rather than a wrecking ball: That driver... FAIL!Actually, when Top Gear tested the Hilux in the videos I posted earlier, they DID hit it with a wrecking ball, albeit not very hard. After they excamined it, they noted when they saw a big dent at the tailgate. "That's the wrecking ball. That would have knocked down the Empire State building, this is what it did to a pickup truck."
Showtime 1-1
I love Top Gear. I was waiting for somebody else to bring it up before I mentioned it here, but Top Gear's tests on that Hillux meant more to me then any lab-perfected "crash test". Definetly worth a watch on the youtube, but I'm too lazy to find the links. :P
