Guest DRL
Well... Hello everyone.I found this site (well, most like everything cool I found in the Internet) accidentaly and it is be far the best Star Fox fan site ever created!... Now, excuse me for the lame introduction.... Now;I like:[shadow=blue, left]All of the Star Fox series! (Included those in my "To get" list!)[/shadow]Fox (For his skills and the fact that he let´s youcontrol him in EVERY Star Fox game)Krystal (A real shame she has not got a sister...)Slippy (For being the best technician I know)Peppy (For telling me that all your problems canbanish if you do a barrel roll)Corneria (For being such a good place to live with, not to mention the primary target of Venom-basedinvasions...)Falco (For being Fox´s best friend)Bill (For leading the defence of Katina in the'Independence Day' style battle in SF64)Mario! (For helping Nintendo a lot, as well as being aclassic videogame character.)*Everything else that I like but I dare not mention it there.Forum Rules: I intend to respect them, any & all, if I ever do anything wrong please tell me.As for the Species/Character, I thought a Cerinian Fox would be cool, but I have no idea how a Cerinian male looks like (nor the resource to draw/make a picture of one).Well, that is it... Greetings to everyone from Argentina, I bet you did not expect someone from there! I hope we can all get along...Regards,D.R.L.

Guest DRL
caat01 & Showtime 1-1: Thank you, it is good to hear that.Asper Sarnoff: Thanks for the advice, thought I usually respecttransit rules 'too much' (a friend´s phrase). Here we do not have "people run over by cars". We have the "cars run over by people" (Imagine the transit chaos). Anyway, thank you.
Guest DRL
Gracias catwings30, si soy de Argentina. Entiendo lo de los errores y eso (pero no es gran cosa, a mi me pasa con los acentos, que parece que me los robaron). ¡Gracias por la bienvenida!Translation (For the rest of SF-O folks):Thank you catwings30, yes I am from Argentina. I understand the errors and such (but it is not a great thing, I happen to do the same with the stress, it looks like as if it was stolen).Thank you for the welcome!P.S.: We can speak in any language you prefer to, be it Español or English, however please no Saurian. There is a reason as to why they did not gave me the Dinosaur Planet Passport to go there, since I did not understand a word . Accidentaly, I also happen to have said "Tricky is a moron" or like that, thanks to a "friend" .
Steve
As long as you post a translation, or keep it in private, of course . By the way, we don't speak saurian here, that would be silly, and a big headache.
Guest DRL
Yeah I read the rules about language, no "other-language-only" posts. About the Saurian that was a joke, I thought it would be funny if some random guy/gal/alien spoke to me in said language, since I would not understand a thing and I may insult/offend in the process of trying to just say "hello". StarFoxIII
As long as you post a translation, or keep it in private, of course . By the way, we don't speak saurian here, that would be silly, and a big headache.Nonetheless, we're a diverse community of Star Fox fans from around the globe and different languages and cultures are encouraged to have a part here in the global fandom. For example here are a few translations of "Do a barrel roll" in different languages around the world:Spanish: Hacer un tonel.French: Faire un tonneau.Italian: Ruoto come un barilePortugese: Faça uma rotação do tambor. German: Was ist ein barrel roll.Polish: Czy tocz? beczki.Dutch: Doe een vat rollen.Finnish: Älä tynnyri päristellä.Norweigian: Gjør en tønne roll.Swedish: Gör ett fat rulle.Greek: ????? ??? ????? ??????Russian: ????????? ?????.Turkish: Be?ik rotasyon m?.Chinese: ?????Japanese: ?????????Korean: ?? ? ?Hebrew: ??? ???? ?????Arabic: ?? ??? ?????Persian/Dari/Tajik: ??? ??? ????Hindi: ?? ???? ??? ??Filipino/Tagalog: Paikutin tulad ng isang pampulitika.Swahili: Kufanya pipa mzunguko.Vietnamese: Làm m?t cu?n.Icelandic: Ekki á tunnu rúlla.Irish: An rolla bairille.Welsh: Gwneud rhôl casgen. And much more! Guest DRL
wOw! Nice, though you could add Latin American Spanish: "Hacer un giro"
StarFoxIII
wOw! Nice, though you could add Latin American Spanish: "Hacer un giro"Here's a treat for you, then :Latin American Spanish: Hacer un giro.Saurian: Te u ruhhoc hecc. When I translated "do a barrel roll" into Spanish, I used Google Translate to do the job. That's why it came out in "Spanish Spanish". I also wanted to translate it into Yiddish, but I did'nt have enough time. Anyway, hope you liked my translations of "do a barrel roll" in all sorts of languages that Peppy would be proud to see .
Guest DRL
Yeah, Do a barrel roll is a classic, whatever language is it in. As for Latin American Spanish, I can say that uh... "Spaniards" (?) have a diferent way of talking compared to ours. We still understand each other, but I mean, if a guy from the USA speaks to a British guy, there are sure diferences.About the Saurian phrase... *Reads it, then asks a 'friend' for a translator. Suposed 'friend' gives me a broken translator and it all ends up with me asking "Will you go on a date with me"? to the Saurian Queen!*

Guest DRL
Well, I speak Argentinian Spanish, I suppose all Spanish variations have almost the same words, though the pronounciation is surely diferent.Por ejemplo, decimos "Vos" en vez de "Tu".(For example, we say "you" instead of "you". Sorry but in Englishthose 2 words mean the same, and are translated as thus. Duh!)
