Starfox mccloud15 Posted February 10, 2010 Author Share Posted February 10, 2010 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What we wanted to do immediately was look for Thunderstar, luckily Krystal gave her communicator to him before she was taken, all we were going to need was track down the communicator's signal using the carrier's GPS, one thing that was very helpful was that the carrier fooled defence drones, so we could easily move between places, when we found the communicator's signal we noticed something disturbing, it seemed that he was fighting along the CDF, this was kind of a problem for me... however, we needed the kid's help, as well as the communicator, as it was the only link to Raydric's help.As we approached we were disscusing how we were going to get Thunderstar out, of course I quickly answered ''Ok, you two go down and ask for him, and I'll stay on the carrier ok?'' I said, ''Yeah right'' Greneck laughed as he drived, ''Ok, but you'll have to fix this eventually Fox...'' Krystal said with her arms crossed, ''Right by the way, where is the closest CDF outpost...'' I asked, ''Well this GPS has all the info on it, looks like Grizzle has everything pinned out'' Greneck said, ''So it seems'' Krystal said, ''what I can't understand is why hasn't he finished this, all he is doing is a stupid slaughter...'' I said, ''Yes you are right'' Greneck and Krystal both agreed.It was raining when we arrived, it was late as well, of course, the outpost was on distress when they saw one of Grizzle's carriers going over there, we noticed the CDF troopers on this outpost were elite, with heavy laser weaponary, and for an ordinary outpost this was heavily defended, when we parked we noticed that searchlights were aiming at us, as well as the soldiers, ''Awsome how are we going to go out'' Greneck said, ''just open the door'' Krystal said, as the hatch slowly opened, soldiers began to surround the carrier, Krystal began to walk down slowly, showing her hands were empty followed by Greneck, which was aimed at because of the ghost armor, but after seeing Krystal and seeing Greneck was not agresive, they lowered their weapons and took them inisde the base, while I waited inisde, minutes passed, then hours, then I fell asleep out of boredom.I opened my eyes to see Krystal with a raincoat and an umbrella, looking down at me with a funny face, ''Let's go inside Fox'' she said laughing, probably because I was in a deep sleep on the carrier's floor, ''Are you crazy?!?'' I said ''I'll get arrested or something'', ''Just trust me'' she said with a smile on her face, I took her hand and followed her inisde the ''outpost'' just as I entered I saw a friendly shape on the background with arms crossed, it was Peppy, he was fine, I was surprised to see him, ''Well, it's been a while Fox'' he said with his old voice ''Let's go down'' he said as he opened a hidden door with a card, ''We've got to talk'' he said as we went down a long stairway, the outpost was a secret base I guess...We entered a room at the end of the hallway where I saw another known figure, It was an extremely old General Pepper, He was asking Greneck things about what had happened in the past months, Thunderstar was there as well, As for Greneck, he was telling him everything we learned of the new hope facility, after he told him everything he got up and gave me his chair, after I sat down General Pepper said ''Fox, I apologize, what I did was a reckless and stupid act, this small base is all we have left, we still have many soldiers, however we can't do much against those beasts, the rest of starfox were sent to a safe place, we can call them back at any time, so, Fox, you know their technology, please help us stop this monster...'', I remained silent for some seconds and then I said ''Sure...''.That night they gave us (Thunderstar, Greneck, Krystal and I) shelter, food, and they suited up Krystal for combat, as we kept our breloved ghost suits. I went out to take some fresh air, with Krystal, ''Together at last eh Krystal'' I said, ''Luckily'' Krystal giggled, ''Well, we've got lots of things to do...'' Pepper with a small box metalic in his hands, I quickly put a shirt on and asked ''What's happening?'' In a sleepy tone still in my bed, Gen. Pepper said ''well, please, accept this, sargeant McCloud'' upon listening to that my somolence dissapeared, as he opened the small metal box to reveal the sargeant badge, which Peppy took from the box and sticked to my Ghost armor, as this silently happened Krystal and the others were asleep on the same room, ''Why are you doing this?'' I asked, ''Because you are one of the remaining men able to stop Grizzle, you can now command the elite CDF forces'' Peppy said, ''Good luck Fox'' Gen. Pepper added as he retired to his room.''Okay'' I said to Peppy with an amazed expression in my face, '' Don't worry Fox'' Peppy said, as he sat down on a chair inside the room, I then got up and and tried to wake up Krystal and the others, to tell them what happened and to have breakfast, normal, chemical free breakfast.After that was over I just had some time to relax, as well as the others, when I suddenly heard a loud boom and a small quake shook the ground, I came running out of the room, Krystal came out shouting ''ENEMY FIRE!!!'', as Thunderstar guarded her side and Greneck was getting suited with the ghost armor, I quickly got inside mine too, when we were about to go outside we heard a gun getting loaded, we turned and saw Peppy, he said ''Don't forget about me'' with a strange smirk I haven't seen in a long time, I kicked the door open, just to find a big battle, with the CDF defending and Grizzle's army attacking from all directions, Greneck and I cloaked as we prepared to strike, ''Krystal, If possible, protect troops from ghosts, Thunderstar and Peppy, Go with Krystal, and please be careful, I went up with the soldiers controlling the turrets, I told them to prepare anti-air missiles, as Grizzle usually used cloaked drones as a jamming and offensive network, I then jumped down and began to melee soldiers with Greneck, while CDF troopers opened fire against the soliders around us, I looked up, Krystal and the others were having a good time with turrets.All of a sudden, a group of 4 black ships appeared on the horizon, coming at full speed, 3 of them opened fire against the turrets, I turned and luckily I saw Krystal's staff shield, I turned back to the 4 ships and noticed that one of them was heading towards me, when it was above me, a ghost with a different armor jumped out, he stood up, it was a tall jackal, he told me with a deep, educated tone, ''please allow me to introduce myself, I'm Thelonius, one of Grizzle's four main sqadron, prepare to meet your destiny...''. Krystal, Peppy and Thunderstar ran inside the base to cover, as the other 3 black ships didn't allow them to go out, leaving just me and Greneck outside against him, he suddenly got in battle stance, and said ''Come, meet your death''.We both cloaked and jumped to him with our katar ready to strike vital points, he dodged both stab attempts, took my arm and tossed me to the ground, he then turned to Greneck and kicked him the stomach, as he recovered from the hit, thelonius took his head and began hitting him with his knee, as I got up, I noticed he was istracted hitting Greneck, so I got up and ran towards him, I punched him, making a screech on his black armor, he pushed Greneck with an incredible force and turned at me, he took out his katar and prepared to stab me, just when the blade was a few centimeters from my neck a gunshot made his arm go back, he tossed me aside, then jumped back and opened a storgage from his belt, he took out a disk shaped object and threw it to Greneck, I thought Greneck was done for, but the disk activated and instead of exploding, it began draining energy from Greneck's suit, to the point the armor was so heavy he could barely move, while this happened were fighting with our katars and fists, he turned to Greneck and said ''I'll deal with you later...'' as he pulled me from my arm and then brutally kicked me in the chest, I fell to the gorund, when I was getting up, he was right in front of me, he charged a punch with thre help of ths ghost armor, and punched me with an incredible force which damaged my armor in the chest plate, I flew like 2 meters, I was near Greneck, I was so beaten up I had trouble getting up, luckily the armor proctected me from any bone injury, when he stood up in fron of me with a gun pointing to my head he said ''Pitiful, now pay for the mess you made'' I closed my eyes preparing for the shot, 2 seconds passed, I was alive, I opened my eyes, and saw him down to his knees, I turned to Greneck, he was smiling, with one thumb up, and the energy absorbing machine on the other hand, he reprogramed the device to drain energy from him, he then thre the device to me, when he did, all the energy drained to him was transfered to me, I got up, I felt the armor lighter and more responsive to my movements, I charged my fist (my katar needed repairs) and punched him with all I had on the chest, he fell to the ground, his armor began to malfunction and make small bursts, he was deeply injured, as Greneck got up, we both walked to him and loaded the handguins to finish with his pain, when we were near him, one of the black crafts opened fire at us, other landed and activated a tractor beam to take him away, when he was off the ground, the other ship flew away, the one in which he was being moved began to fly away, and in the distance we could listen to him shouting ''YOU WILL DIE MCCLOUD, YOU WILL DIE!!!!!!!''As the battle finished, I fell to the ground, I was exausted, as well as Greneck, Krystal ran to me and hugged me, I hugged her back, while Thunderstar helped Greneck.that night we were all in medical services, getting wounds cured, while engineers repaired my armor, using Greneck's as a copy, and with the help of that they made a blueprint.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------to be continuedI actually enjoyed writing this part a lot... I still like starfox, I still draw, but things have changed so much... I have my own characters now, I've developed my own style... man so funny to remember this thing existed...
