Falcory
Do you think we'll ever see it again? It didn't show up in Command, but no on-foot missions were in that. It was missing in Brawl though too. (Except for on the Assault trophies).
Kursed
I donno but it seems to be a very useful tool problem is do you have to have a place for the transmatter pack to be linked to or can you just put stuff in it and pull it out whenever? i hope they bring it back. Guest Julius Quasar
Say whosa-whats now?Well I'm going to guess thats the thing that lets them teleport Arwings and Landmaster to the field correct?Incorrect (Not a bad guess, tho.)...The Trans-matter Packs are those gray/silver backpacks with small black hexagons on them that you see in Star Fox Assault worn by Fox, Slippy (Sargasso Zone) and Krystal (Sauria, Aparoid Homeworld Outer Base). They function as teleporting devices for weapons, which are taken from the Great Fox Armory when selected, or sent/stored there when de-selected. If the weapon is out of Ammo, though, you can't select/teleport it via trans matter pack until you find more ammo [in battle] for the weapon . Falcory
Is this offical info?Is the name official? No it's not. That name was created for my fan-fic, so that I wouldn't have to say "Gray box thingies". The name might catch on however, you never know. Fans have named weapons and items before and certain companies have decided to use the name in later games/shows thus making it official. So here's hoping. The item itself however is very official. Nintendo never provided a name for it, but as Julius stated it's the small, square, backpacks that the Starfox team (And Starwolf team) use in Assault. Also it's never been proven that the "Trans-matter packs" actually shrink or teleport items, these are mainly theories. But it is obvious that it is used to house weapons and items as you see many of the characters reach into it to pull out a new weapon.
