Recent downtimes

I am aware of the recent downtimes. It seems that Dreamhost has been having some network reliability issues as of late.

Pretty much all we can do is wait on them to get it right. They have thus far acknowledged the issues:

We have had several network outages recently and we know that’s not acceptable. We are in the process of reviewing our current network management procedures and planning for the changes we’ll need to make to allow for the future.

Maybe someday we can afford to buy our own server and stick it in a colo somewhere, but that ain't happening anytime soon. Which is sad. Shared hosting sucks.

Realistically, we have to wait. No server moves will happen unless Dreamhost drops the ball big time.
