StarFoxIII
Isn't that Saint Augustine?I believe FoXXX is right. San Augustin, aka St. Augustine, is the oldest city in the contiguous United States founded by Europeans, specifically by Spanishmen led by Pedro Menéndez de Avilés. On the subject of America's oldest cities, Jamestown was founded in 1609 by the English and Nieuw Amsterdam (known today as New York City) was founded by the Dutch in 1624. Sableye
Isn't that Saint Augustine? YES THAT THE ONE! I wonder why my city most of the time doesn't show up on the map.It had been the OLDEST CITY OF all. It's around suburban level. It feels like you are in the year 1965. One of the town's mayors was arrested by the feds on corruption charges because he took bribes from developpers to build condominiums on farmland. StarFoxIII
Damn, where has this country gone off to? IDK, but I heard that the mayor in question, Matthew Scannapieco, accepted $245,000 in bribes from the developper in exchange for favorable rulings and sexual favors. A county official was also arrested for a role he played in the scandal.

StarFoxIII
Wow, that mayor's a real assloaf! I'm glad he got busted.Federal prosecutor, now NJ Governor-Elect Chris Christie, prosecuted Scannapieco and his accomplices for their corruption. I hardly agree with the politics Christie follows, but to quote Falco: "I guess I should be thankful."
